It's funny they sell the health pack weapon charm in the bundle now because they gave that one for free as an excuse for the issues the sequel had at launch. 💀
Really??? I hate blizzard. It originally came from Baps limited time event in OW1 and the again it came back in the anniversary remixes leading up to launch of ow2…I love the matching skin one of my fav Bap skins and charma

i really hate the idea of mythic weapons especially when priced the same as a mythic hero
Blizzard wishes they could go back to loot boxes. They're straight up copying Apex Legends' heirlooms cause they seen how much people spend on packs just to get them.
at most, the mythic weapons should be 20 prisms for full unlock
Mythic weapons should be worth 15 dollars at most. Theyre not flashy enough or transformative enough to merit the price of an entire AA game
eh, I don't know i don't like most of the mythic skins so it is nice there is something that i amy be able to spend my prisms on. Really need a Junk rat mythic weapon or skin (^_^)

The event is REALLY underwhelming this year. A couple of mediocre giveaway skins instead of credit shop with at least twice as many skins feels really stingy on their part. Plus, as Ian mentioned, there’s really nothing to spend credits on now

I remember how excited I used to be for anniversary, but now it's...beyond a disappointment. Like you could literally skip it and miss nothing at all.

A little thing i noticed with the ana mythic weapon, is that usually she shoots the sleep with the right hand. But when you flourish, then sleep it will instead shoot from the left.
And spamming flourish with continue the spin until you decide to stop fidget spinning
That’s a nice change. Her sleeping with her left hand constantly throws me off as someone who is right handed
Everything released for OW in the last year or so (aside from heroes of course) has been underwhelming. It’s very clear Blizzard only cares about making money from cosmetics ATM, which is incredibly depressing and hard to come to terms with considering I’ve been playing since the 2016 launch. I hope the team wakes up and starts listening to the community a little more. (WHERE ARE MY ANNIVERSARY DANCE EMOTES BLIZZARD???)
Feeling the same, any hope I had left is damn near dead.
One thing that Ian didn't notice in the Ana skin is that whether you heal, the skin changes to a light color and when you damage, it changes to a dark one
And also you can use your scrollwheel to spin the sleep dart (you can also spin it infinitely using this)

What are they thinking honestly? It’s just gonna turn people off from buying skins if it might just become free in a few months. They should give at least 1000 coins per skin you already owned
@@IllegalPizza777 The thing is you never know which skins will "maybe" become free rewards so if you bought them when the first released because you liked them then you´re not missing out. I bought the Cavalero-Skin for Reaper which later became a Twitch-Drop but I just shrugged it off because it doesn´t change aynthing for me so why complain? You don´t get coins but BP-EXP which might help you finish the Battle Pass to get other skins you wanted to unlock if you haven´t done it already.

@@naliskun4222 Almost. It was a Season 2 skin, and we're in Season 12, aka 20 months. After that point, I think it's fine if they give it away for free for a promotion.
The fact that they brought back old Battle Pass and Collab event items back into the shop excites me some. It gives me hope that some of the old items can be obtainable again.
not that i’m very shocked, but the whole mythic weapon skin thing is EXTREMELY cash grabby..
that’s sadly ow2’s whole shtick atp, but typically mythic skins had at least one extra weapon variant, but now we’ve gotta pay for another design and some dumb fluff!?

i won’t.. but ana alr had a mythic skin so it feels very weird now that there’s evident overlap for a weapon mythic alongside an existing skin.. blizzard is obsessed with quantity over quality

Dude thank god they made Bounty Hunter Bap free, that skin has been on my radar for awhile now but the 1900 coin price always threw me off

Why did they give a new mythic weapon to Anna when she is one of the few characters that already has an entire mythic skin
Popularity metrics, they look at the data, which characters are more likely to sell cosmetics
NOOOOO i bought infinite guard 76 in season 4 through the ultimate battle pass bundle and used the 2k coins to get bounty hunter bap and now its free lol rip. same thing happened last anniversary with the space raider skins BUT i think ive learned my lesson that the ultimate battlepass bundles are just not worth it if blizzard will bring them back for free every year.

That's cool that we're getting an anniversary with free skins and a mythic for Ana? Looks pretty cool though I'm still mixed with mythic weapons tho. Also I assume with how they do free skins, the ones that people don't buy or rarely get? Honestly I wanted that Bounty Hunter skin so that's cool.

Interesting.They added megabundles which is the laziest and greediest thing they could do, removed Anniversary shop and will add 3 free legendary skins as part of the event.
Wait, no credits shop this year?! Most of my favorites were from last year 😢
They could have at least brought the Anniversary Shop back with unavailable skins that weren't a part of Ultimate BPs like Feskarn Brigitte, Cabana Ana, or heck even some Shop skins that either don't sell that much or are from less popular heroes. It's not that much to ask for in comparison to last year's Anniversary Shop that had Ultimate BP skins in it.

they should re-release some of the battlepass skins during the anniversary event only. In Overwatch 1 the anniversary was an event where all event skins were up for purchase, now that overwatch 2 allows players to buy most event skins at any time they should use the short window of the anniversary event to allow players to buy battlepass skins they missed

Keep the skins, please bring back the game modes from achieves and the like....those were so fun and challenging and i loved the blackwatch one so much.
Stuff from previous battle passes should be available for purchase. I missed out on the only Rammattra skin I like. I hate the whole fomo/manufactured scarcity thing within modern gaming. It’s so annoying.
You missed quite a bit on the mythic weapon, it changes colors depending on dmg or heals and does indeed level up the more elims you get. It takes awhile to power up since you're a support and not a tank like Rein. As an Ana main I got it easily thanks to not getting the Reaper mythic since I have skins I like for him and don't play him enough
They should reduce the time to take to level it up since it's supp
@@Nanasbb I was thinking the same thing, cuz it took me awhile to do so in the training range. Thought it was a bug but then saw Flats had the same issue so figured it was cuz she's a supp and it will just take longer. If nothing else HEALING should make it happen faster 😂

I do like that mythic weapon changes color depending on if you are healing or doing damage, but I don't see myself ever spending mythic prisms on a gun skin.
Ana was a weird choice for a mythic. As a rein main I think it made a lot of sense for him, an over the top weapon fits with the rein playstyle and vibe, but the ana one just feels odd. Junkrat would fit well with some crazy kill effects, or even a Mei one thats like pyrovision themed and creates confetti when she kills people. Mythic weapons just dont work for all the characters.
In the highlight season bundle they added the Lucio emote that was from a battle pass, are the stuff from the pass coming to the shop now?
The event skins to unlock for free are really cool actually ! I speak as a person who started playing OW2 for 1 years now and I don't have that much coins. It took me so much times every season to grind and getting those gray coins that I was really happy last year to get the anniversary shop ! Now we don't have it anymore, but the weekly challenges stuff are great (especually for Ram, I don't really like the one I have from an old battle pass, so this one is a great new one for me). They could have at least give us some extra gray coins, but that ok. Also LETS GO ANA MYTHIC SKIIIIIN !!
Well I save my white credits for nothing!!! I mean I'm glad they didn't do what they did last anniv for the people who actually bought those skins just for people to buy them for free but lmfao them putting them in challenges isn't much better and they random ass skin. The credits shop could work if they put either new skins or the limited skins like the seasonal epic ones that aren't part of the big bundles
the coolest thing about the new weapon skin is that both the scoped in ui and the weapon itself change colors depending on if you're healing or doing damage, but other than that and the kill effect it really is nothing special
I'm an Ana main and I feel like this mythic is bleh. The whole sword effect after an enemy dies is lame. It doesn't match Ana at all as a character. It wouldve been cool if the elim vfx was like bastet leaping out of the gold effect or something more in tune with her character. The sword effect is so underwhelming and doesn't even fit the weapon's theme.
I thought we were going to get the Anniversary shop again to buy skins we wanted with credits, instead of a chance of earning 3 skins I don't like, for characters I don't play. What am I supposed to do with my 10k+ credits? They don't even put legendary skins in the hero gallery for the new heroes anymore. Blizzard never fails to disappoint.
The weapon looks fantastic, but I just won't pay for all this stuff. I only bought 50 bucks worth of skins, basically the price of a game. No need to buy any more unless it is REALLY REALLY special.
Lol classic Blizz. Add 3 free skins for the event that people paid $30 for individually and they get nothing back. I guess if you spent real money on skins in OW2 you really only have yourself to blame. =/
They are actually copying Valorant but much worse, 40 for one skin while in Valorant you typically get 5 for 80 do the ratio and figure out which is much less. Plus the special effects and looks have nothing on how much better they look in Val, the sword coming down is straight up taken from one of their Aemondir skins that looks way better.
The rein one was also really bad and looks this will be a ongoing trend. You know it's bad when Valorant which is expensive has more worth your buck for weapon skins.
It makes me angry that they lock these new animations behind a 40$ weapon skin, it’s just disgusting and a waste. Can’t they just give everyone the animations to play around with? Why are they so damn greedy… even if I just used saved up “free” mythic points I still can only use the custom animations if I use the ugly weapon they made.
What an absolute disappointment. I have been breathing that copium for years but i think my tank is empty. This update officially makes me see what a lifeless husk Overwatch has become and I am so sad. It is a joke. Mythic weapon skins the same price as a mythic skin is ridiculous. The events are jokes. And not bringing back a credit store is a spit in the face. I was looking forward to it. I have so many uselsss credits, they dont add anything new to use for them and they are being so devalued for vetran players. I dunno this update this week was so weak and I think I finally have to accept I am falling out of love because they are killing this game. Losing motivation to play. 😢 i have given it so much of my time the past 8 years but it feels so different now for the worst. 💔

Of course I go and get a 1 month suspension a week before anniversary event. The report system needs to be revamped. I don’t curse and swear or say anything sexual/racial, I just ask people to actually try, and I get suspended like wtf.

As an Ana main, the mythic was an insta-unlock for me and I must say, I have no regrets. At first, I found the kill effect a bit wierd, but I'll get used to it. My favourite aspect is how it changes it's entire color scheme depending on who you are shooting with it, my weapon turning purple when I shot a bot at the practicing range caught me off guard and I was like braindead for not noticing how it works for 2 games straight lol.
I think most of my fellow Ana mains can agree that we've been fed very well.
Also, those of you with jade weapons for Ana, do you like the mythic with that greenish primary color? I can't decide wether it's ugly or wierdly nice looking.

As someone who plays a lot of Ana I'm disappointed by how boring the mythic weapon is, but I'm also very happy I save money by not buying it. Rein's weapons was so good.
you missed the special effects on the weapon when you heal or damage continuously, the riffle kinda crackles and lets out light, dunno why it didn't appear on yours but I love it
FYI that new genji highlight intro uses his default sword for EVERY skin. Typical blizz polish, so lame.
I think that a "sushi shef" genji intro woulb be really cool, especially with that skin. Just something like cuting something, cooking sushi and the finishing the intro with a plate of sushi
40$ for a gun skin nah ain't worth. Unless you have the bread to spend. Also recolors should be 5$ since it's a color palette swap.

Health pack weapon charm is also surprising seeing as how that comes from the matching Bap skin from the limited time event OW1 . I have that skin also one of the rarest 😊
the elim effect looks cool on the Ana weapon but I feel it might be too distracting in an actual game 😅 can anyone who has it chime in on this?

The free skins are some of the most undersold skins they have had so far. Not going to knock it too hard, because at least they are allowing us to unlock free skins.

The animation from the Ana mythic gun skin looks exactly like one from valorant, the color scheme is also similar.
Yeah I'm not particularly interested in the Ana weapon at all, I think that they should just do mythic skins and not weapons, both is too cash grabby for my taste
