Scholar pvp test - full dr build

*gear is ap, crystals, artifacts, and buffs are built towards DR, this was a test of how tanky scholar is so i wanted to take hits here especially after using s+e and shift c slows
I tried this with 2 pen cap earrings and didnt notice a meaningful enough difference to justify losing the AP. her dmg is not great, and combo even weaker considering a decent chunk will be unprotected if u wanna keep them down.
also tried a bunch to run my standard ap builds however her animation are way too slow, i lose SA trades just trying to move around because everyone else does it 10x faster. i end up relying on a grab that is not at all reliable cuz its unprotected and desync af. that said i do land a few grabs here LOL

Nah my entire build is dr, I did this because she's way too slow in pvp to run a standard ap build, I end up taking too much DMG during animations with no way to recover. I'm still able to kill people that I catch very easily tho

Im thinkijg of swapping to dr. Im curtently the same accessories as you bit with 333nouver. How do u think she'd feel with 1 or 2 V cadrys

I tried 2 cadry on glab and was still able to do enough dmg to kill while being a little tankier, but it's up to you, I personally prefer the ap for stronger bonks

it looks like she is more tanky then we think she is. you are full ap gear with dr crystals and artifacts and some pots. that total dr isn't very very big. it looks like she is a kind of DR version of Mystic , high deff low damage hmmm.... interresting

Give her back recovery on movement and make the hammer throw part of the grab "Grab' instead of only grabbing after you teleport to them, increase animation speed, make at least 2 of her CC's FG or SA or 1 SA 1 FG, rework her Core skills they all ass and increase the number of hits on her skills by a lil bit and I think she will be fine both of the classes I main and love to play the most are dogshit at PvP both lack damage and CC sad boi hrs 😢 "Awk Maegu/Scholar"

There are a number of classes with no protected cc's outside of their core. That might change with the new updates, but those classes aren't bad because of that. I'd prefer if some of the classes with too many protected cc's got some removed. Awk maegu does need some help tho. Scholar looks great, but her damage seems low judging by this video.

no LOL i peak at around 640 DR fully buffed and im not using cadrys or anything like that, tuvala doesnt even tickle me, sounds like you found a gearlet that lied about his gear or had a bad build. u can see my gear in the video and how effective it is in a real fight

Those are clearly not gearlets, also your 410 DP warrior definitely did not build their crystals and buffs correctly.

i feel scholar is more a PVE class then it is a pvp class, its slow, the toolkit is very limited, hits like a wet noodle and is extreemly grabbable ... love her as alt in pve tho
