Same! I tried it like some 3 or 4 years ago and just couldn’t get past the clunky ui. Still clunky just not as bad and I really like some of the new classes.

It’s kind of annoying that the Shai play style appeals to me the most while the character design is just, ehhhh. I really don’t like playing characters that look like kids. Gimme a sexy lady, a big hunky wolf man, a gap-toothed ogre, anything but a character that looks like a loli fetishist’s wet dream. I feel like dressing my character up will put me on a list.
Ever since Pearl Abyss became independent from Kakao games the game has been so much better i genuinely think that all the excessive p2w aspects were because of them especially since like 80% if updates are them just removing and changing aspects of the game that already existed.
Playing this game seriously as a F2P player starting now will see you probably having 5 pets, a t8 horse (or dream with FESTA), and full TET boss gear at the end of the year... and even some costumes. So yeah, it's much better
@@nicolaspeigne1429 Full tet boss gear in a few weeks you meant? How did you come up with a year lol? Jetina quests, pen accessory quest, season converted to tet boss, you'll be flying very quickly. And yeah, I have like 16 outfits in my pearl tab all for free, all my t4s are made for free too. I can make 800m silver with agris on my season char @ reworked places like Centaurs. But yeah, it's amazing as F2P but the only thing that you really need to pay and support for is the tent. Horse stacking eliminates weight needs, I've never once had to buy inventory slots etc because we get so many +invs just playing.
Strongly disagree with Awakening Mystic PvE. I think she's on par with succession ATM at endgame and tankier midgame spots. Rising dragon is amazing now, raging wind can be fit into any rotation, basically every main skill got a 10%+ damage buff. Her only real needed change is a slight cd reduction on wave orb so she can burst every rotation for high end mobs.
I'm trying to reroll from a Guardian to Mystic and seeing this I gor disappointed a lil because mystic is not exactly as bad as he put it in the video, she is actually not the best on Aw but also not that bad like how he put it lol.
How are lahn and woosa even close in terms of pve performance? And how is maegu worse than lahn? Woosa pulls 20% more trashloot than lahn easily in most spots. Succ maegu is still broken, able to pull 30+k on yellow at orcs with seasonal gear

Hmmmm, the list looks fairly accurate, One thing that should change is that succ dk Pve is currently 4 to 5 stars after buffs, succ sage is easily a 5 stars in pvp same with awk sorc and succ maehwa Succ maehwa alone should be a 6 star in pvp based onHow broken she is!

Can we stop putting Lahn at 5/5 stars in pve for both specs when she pulls 20% less trash in most high end spots than actual meta classes? Its 2023 not 2021 why are these content creators still huffing this gigacopium what the fuck LOL
Succ zerk 5 stars pve but lahn is also 5 stars pve? Have u even seen how much more zerk pulls compared to lahn? The gap between lahn and true meta classes is insane, but ur still gonna put them at the same level?
im not a sexist buttttt ......there way too many female classes.. like god damn, give the people that like to be males some classes... im sad dark knight is gender locked to female, cause if it was a male ((or a male and female)) class i would totally use it.. i hope they add death knight or something of the sort thats kinda like dark knight but more blue and black effects rather then black and purple... dont think they will do that tho... they might make the 8th 2 hander another chick. i dont like having jiggly booba's all the time in my games. yes im the type that plays for the gameplay and not being horni lol.
Corsair release is what got me into the game. Never seen any character in a game quite like her; except Gideon in Vanquish maybe. Well worth learning all the nuances of the character. If you don't pick up on all the linkages she has to perform long, extended combo chains, your endgame experience is gonna be very limited. - getting to the soft cap with her is deceptively easy, and she has one of the better back stories as well. They nerfed her way too hard after her first season. Seems like Maegu is in the same boat (no pun intended).
It's amazing how things changed over the years. Most of my awa/succ choices seem to be "wrong" now. But I still stick to my awa Guardian - which is still pretty solid in high level monster zones. Thanks for this guide, I'll recommend it to new players.
Interesting timing of you making this video - the very recent change to mob respawn timing has really highlighted the weakness of my main class, Awakened Sorc. This is not anything against this excellent guide more of how one change can impact things. Mob respawn is now so high its really highlighting issues within a class, in my opinion. I was trying to grind a short rotation at Sherekhan's the other day, way over AP'd and DP'd for the area and noticed instantly that now my stamina and cooldowns cannot keep up at all for any real length of time. Combined with long cooldowns on movement skills this really made the grind a very stop start affair. I can only hope PA are ready for the changes they are now going to have to make to no doubt quite a few classes to be able to sustain even smaller rotations. Nice to see they promoted your video on the launcher though!
Awk mist is better at pve than succ mist. She is not even close to 4 stars on dueling, she has almost no dmg, so she cant compete even against most b rank classes...
Anders' earlier Class Guide video from a few years back is what got me into the game in the first place starting on the right foot so long ago. This is a huge resource for new players! As has been said countless times, if you are new to the game, PICK WHAT LOOKS COOL!
I think that is where I messed up. I am a new player and instead of picking what I thought we be fun. I picked other classes based on others opinion of easy. I ended up making and deleting double digit classes. I should just play what I want and worry about the rest later. I am starting on another new toon. Luckily, I am on a seasonal server so I haven’t lost too much.
@@bsmall1412 100%. The biggest discrepancy between how well you perform is how good you are with a given class. You are most likely to WANT to improve on something you actually love to play... even if theoretically you picked the "WORST" class in the game, they could patch it in a month and it becomes the strongest. Just ask Sage players, they've been on both ends several times in just the past year alone.
I can say this after being literally a main of every class. Choose the one you thought damn that boy/girl animations looked sick. BDOs balance is all over the place and changes quite often

Looks good. Though I think you might want to consider adding APM to your reviews, like a rating as well. For some of us that is more important. It took me wayyyy too long to play Zerker. I am 45 and deal with arthritis and that shouldn't have happened. So, for me, no, I shouldn't just go with whatever looks cool. lol Case in point I started with Sorc. Also there are factors such as ping and computer set ups, etc. Nova awake is super cool and super quick and super high APM, and it looks amazing. Hard to know what you want until you get into the game but IMO taking a low apm easy to do damage takes learning the class off the stressors early. This game also does not favor you playing one class because they constantly have new good looking classes and season server with exclusive content. Though with magnus that is easier these days, ADHD ppl like me don't stand much of a chance. lol Completionists and those wanting achievements and titles, should be aware each class has to complete awake and succ story lines to fill out books and titles so at least you are rewarded if you bounce around a lot. PVE and lifeskillers mainly. PVP focus needs to stick with one class. Muscle memory is huge for that.
Holy sht, this is the best point I've read here, such a good thing to point out in moat of these videos and not everyone does it, most of these class are awesome but the APM makes it hard to play some of them, glad you still enjoy the game also, and I also think Guardian is the best at low apm and clearing good grinding spots.
@@manux5306 seconded on guardian recommendation, it's a very relaxed pve experience compared to most classes, she has surprisingly high mobility as well and can take some big hits, and can get away with doing grind spots that you're undergeared for. nova succession is also a low apm option, once you get used to her mobility and block mechanics, and is very convenient when you need to quickly go afk. nigh unkilleable as long as your back isnt exposed.
Need more vids like this for new players, but I think difficulty of learning and playing the class should also be shown. While it’s all opinion base anyways it would be some useful info for new players. Tho my opinion is to just go for what pops out, the more intriguing the more likely they’ll continue to play like the rest of us
Have you tried out Lahn? Succ is one of the best in PvE (Only have to use like 4 skills not counting movement), and Awakening is one of the best in 1v1/Small-scale. Succ is also a terrorist in largescale, she's like a freakn Eagle with how she can swoop in get a kill and fly away again.
After having played Awk Woosa in end game spots, although she lacks protections , correct me if I'm wrong but if she gets slightly faster animations and protections to her flowers, people might realize how busted her burst damage is, it's unreal
Well you just have to play around her super long FG Skills after her bombs and she’s awesome. I don’t get people saying she’s bad, she just plays different than other classes
Great video! I would say Succession DK is probably a 4/5 for PVE now since her recent buffs, though. I will recommend this guide to new players for sure!
i tend to take big breaks from BDO over the years. always fun to check up on these videos. my man Striker seems to stay around as a solid class haha. might give some of the newer ones a try tho, Awakening nova looks pretty cool!
First and finally a new class rankings for BDO. Right now I am going for Berserker for the next Seasonal though I don't know which ones to timepiece it out and I hope that I'll find one while watching this video.

Great video. As a returning player who has missed out in the last couple of years of changes/new character releases this was such a great way to quicklly catch up on the state of the classes
Corsair is fun but not the best unfortunatly, on the other hand, Drakania is BROKEN af in awakening ( for PvP, but lack of dammage in PvE sooo...) choose the one u prefer visually and which one you have more fun !
Love the guide. Something that would help is easyness of playstyle per character, as a player not use to this combat I want to start with an easy class and work my way up.

This is not true at all, the new classes like Woosa were and still are way better in many spots like Orcs. If you mean all-around then yes it's top tier.
I last played right when Guardian came out. I remember grinding those naga's once you get to desert and a zerker came out of nowhere and slammed me so I was stunned, did some big move, then grabbed and slammed me and I died. I uninstalled at that time but now I'm coming back since there is no pvp on season servers lol. Dude straight up ganked me left n right after that moment.
I've been plaing Warrior since Beta and been playing it in awakening since it got released and tbh you can play it either relaxed and still have a good easy PVE grind or you can min-max the hell out of your combos and skill rotation and grind pretty fast. The Awakening Warriror grind really feels smooth in my opinion. (As you never really need to pay attention to your ressources, healing and not really need to bring any potions) Im a PVE only player and never really connected to other calsses and get bored of their playstyles quite fast but perhaps it's time to try out some more of them and see if it's worth the change.
i nearly played most female classes (not included: Valk, Ranger, Maehwa, Shai, Tamer, Mystic, Woosa, Maegu and Witch) to awakening but my top 5 would be : Lahn, Drakania, Kunoichi, Corsair and Guardian
i played myself her till the desert areas (not further) past lv57. so iam honestly not very experienced in the late mid or endgame but she plays very good till this point :)
Would be great if you could mention if the skills you show are part of the awakening or succesion kit, especially for new players who have no idea which one they are watching now
Maegu and Woosa look very fun. I’m going to be playing the game for the first time ever today and just wanted some guidance in general of how classes looked while playing them. Definitely will be trying some different stuff out

I disagree agree with awake sage pve. I've tested seasonal musa, hash, and sage. Musa and hash are great for mid lvl areas or if you grinding for pot piece but if it's not something you insta kill it gets far more difficult. Season Sage though SE and gyfin ez big damage great movement and constant protection makes it great on the endgame zones.
For awak hash 1v1 pvp, you are correct. Where you are not correct is as follows. Awak hash does not have good sustain. He lacks both mp and hp sustain (albeit mp sustain issues can be circumvented to a degree by using mp regen add-on for a skill and spirit perfume elixir.) He also lacks as a endgame pve grinder. Awak hash is not good at hexe, requires massive amounts of effort to provide below mediocre to mediocre results. Esp compared to his succ counterpart. Also backed by garmoth grind data, not just me as a awak hash main. Awak hash is also not good at boss blitz due to his hp sustain issues. C7 difficulty is near impossible on awak hash due to his lack of hp sustain and combo oriented damage, even with 722gs. As a awak hash you have medium to long animations that you mainly trade damage with mobs in order to get your combo off with a reposition dash every now and then. The combo you do is tight and not much room to break the combo for a dash. The dashes must be in specific points otherwise your flow for the combo gets ruined. The awak spec for the class, is in need of major pve buffs to make it worth using at the high end for the effort you put in compared to many other classes in the game. Also awak hash is still the only class in the game to have 0% accuracy rate on his skills, and is mandatory required to maintain a 9% accuracy self buff at all times, to have any type of accuracy rate at all.
For early game (0ap - 230ap): awakening Valkyrie is bar none the single best PVE on seasonal servers as well as anything centaurs and earlier. It's not even close. Pre-230ap she is god tier but post-230ap she falls off a cliff and is one of the worst classes. Other strong classes for seasonal are Musa, Maewha, Archer & Hash. For the early mid game (230ap - 270ap): I feel like Zerk is extremely overrated, he is easy to play but difficult to master. His movement requires insane APM to keep up with other classes like Awakening Nova/Striker/Musa/Drakania and Succession Lahn. They all have better movement, higher damage, and pull more trash per hour,. They do tend to fall off very slightly the higher up you go where Berzerker seemly doesn't. For the late mid game (270ap - 290ap): The previously mentioned classes still preform relatively well, but I think even post-nurf succession Maegu is still the favorite here. I/m pretty sure she still pulls the same if not more trash than zerker. For end game (290ap - 310ap: succession Woosa and Maegu used to be similar but because PA wanted people to try Maegu awakening instead of skip over it like they did with Woosa awakening, they decided to gut succession Maegu's damage which hurt her drastically. Now succession Woosa is the only class that can pull highest numbers all things equal.
Sounds like you do enjoy conspirology theories. ) Some alternative thinking and such... Archer is one of the worst characters to level up throughout the campaign. And by no means he is any good at early game (season) after his nerfs/reworks.
@@thebomber7641 For sure it's not as brain dead or as good as awakening Valkyrie but it's much stronger than other classes early on due to the high damage from far range and above average mobility. It takes more apm and skill to play compared to other classes, and people who don't have that often claim the class is bad. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@Flanktank2 why would you need a high damage early on when everything dies from 1 hit? Also that damage output is not cosistent anymore. PVE Archer plays in melee because that is how he designed. Mobility is ok... if you enjoy moving backwards without seeing where you going
I've had Zerker as my main for almost 4 years now and he it's basically impossible to be high APM. When I had Musa tagged for a while not even low spots could I come close to my Zerker in trash numbers. Succ Zerker only falls off a little at end-game because we simply don't have the damage that other top tier classes have, but still easily 4/5 in PvE overall (but only for Succ, Awakening is genuinely bad at PvE in any spot). Early and middle game Succ Zerker and Awaken Valk are easily kings and queens that far exceed every class. At end game imo the standouts are Shai, Woosa, Hash, Nova and the skilled exceptions. Like the Mystics I know who can consistently pull 26K+ at Orcs.

Is it possible to play with the same account both or transfer it from pc to console or vice versa? Noob question is it possible to switch from awakening to ascension or vice versa anytime you want? Last question is i always used to play a hybrid class healer/dps pvp wise aways which classes fit this role and what's your unbiased opinion is the best? Fundamentally you nailed every class explanation, but your rankings on overwhelming majority of these are WAY WAY off. In what universe is a Succ Maehwa a 4/5 in any PvP setting? How are you talking about Succ Mae being more popular when the only Succ mae that even exists is Neptunez. I think you are confusing Succ Musa and Succ Maehwa. How on earth are you giving Succ Wiz 3/5 in Dueling but Awaken Mystic is 4/5. So few of these are accurate at all, I could correct almost every single ranking. I love your content man, but this was way off the mark.
Thank you for the vid, I picked nova and she's an absolute beast, and once I got her awakening it was so satisfying because her playstyle completely changed, being insanely fast and doing stupid damage. I still don't know which class I'm picking next for the tag character, though. I'm thinking Woosa but idk
she's kinda bad in pve but in pvp she's insane, if you're not a minmaxer just pick any class you think is the coolest. if you're a minmaxer trying to get to 700gs++ as fast as possible drakania is not the class you want to start with.

@@CaledonianCraft biggest mistake i made : some guide suggested stacking enchant fails on bad equipment to make enchant of main equipment easier. HOWEVER since it's seasonal realm i later found that you had some stones that increased % enchant chance and i should be using them instead. Effectively i wasted all my enchanting stones at some trash gear and eventually could not progress in campaign beacuse i was just too weak. Make sure you read tooltips of every item you have. Oh and i suggest reading all quest stories you do. Some are tedious and i felt like giving up / just completing objectives but all in all the storylane is amazing. Even with the shitty ones included it's 8/10

Very nice work. I think you should do a new player friendly guide. For example ranger is not new player friendly at all. Her low defense requires a healthy level of gear and she has not hp or mp sustain without a t4 fairy with auto pot and infinite potions. You would have to max out weight to get by easily. However ranger does have high damage, accuracy and a good pulling mechanic. Guardian on the other hand is super new player friendly. She has hp per hit and huge aoes. Low apm and high damage for pve. She doesn’t not require pots as heavily as ranger does and she has good accuracy.
Succession Sage same, high duelling potential as Awakening and also same pve? I am sure Succession has always been one of the most predictable 1v1 matchups.
Yes, he is predictable and easy to beat in succession for most classes in 1v1. The 3 minute buff is very powerful so you can run people down but that’s about it. Awakening is a very good duelist though.

Really good video - only thing I would of mentioned is stamina - Sorc might be good but only when you are north of 2500 stamina - before that you will really have to mix things up - imo of course.

Don't want to be that guy but i think succ hash is pretty bad in largescale. He is not really great at anything other than chip damage to structures in nodewars. Other than that he is very lacking. Both Armin and Divios had him in the bottom 5 of all classes for nodewars. Awk is just the preferable spec for pvp in general. And in Pve succ is still a lot better, succ pulls at least 1.5k more at hexe.
I main Succ hash and I think is not the worst in large scale pvp but for sure not 5 stars, at dueling it can be reallly good but u have to know ir matchups and for endgame pve spots he is definitely top tier.
Succ far outshines Awakening in a special teams perspective like Flex for instance. I would prefer an Awaken Hash for a mainball perspective but ain't nobody ever gonna be excited about having an Awaken Hash in mainball despite it's great damage, AoE, and Slows.

Started BDO like 4 days ago. Went mystic about lvl 43 so far and loving it. Games a lot more enjoyable than when i tried it out years ago.

Corsair release is what got me into the game. Never seen any character in a game quite like her; except Gideon in Vanquish maybe. Well worth learning all the nuances of the character. If you don't pick up on all the linkages she has to perform long, extended combo chains, your endgame experience is gonna be very limited. - getting to the soft cap with her is deceptively easy, and she has one of the better back stories as well. They nerfed her way too hard after her first season. Seems like Maegu is in the same boat (no pun intended).
It's amazing how things changed over the years. Most of my awa/succ choices seem to be "wrong" now. But I still stick to my awa Guardian - which is still pretty solid in high level monster zones. Thanks for this guide, I'll recommend it to new players.
Interesting timing of you making this video - the very recent change to mob respawn timing has really highlighted the weakness of my main class, Awakened Sorc. This is not anything against this excellent guide more of how one change can impact things.
Mob respawn is now so high its really highlighting issues within a class, in my opinion. I was trying to grind a short rotation at Sherekhan's the other day, way over AP'd and DP'd for the area and noticed instantly that now my stamina and cooldowns cannot keep up at all for any real length of time. Combined with long cooldowns on movement skills this really made the grind a very stop start affair. I can only hope PA are ready for the changes they are now going to have to make to no doubt quite a few classes to be able to sustain even smaller rotations.

Awk mist is better at pve than succ mist. She is not even close to 4 stars on dueling, she has almost no dmg, so she cant compete even against most b rank classes...
Anders' earlier Class Guide video from a few years back is what got me into the game in the first place starting on the right foot so long ago. This is a huge resource for new players! As has been said countless times, if you are new to the game, PICK WHAT LOOKS COOL!
I think that is where I messed up. I am a new player and instead of picking what I thought we be fun. I picked other classes based on others opinion of easy. I ended up making and deleting double digit classes. I should just play what I want and worry about the rest later.
I am starting on another new toon. Luckily, I am on a seasonal server so I haven’t lost too much.
@@bsmall1412 100%. The biggest discrepancy between how well you perform is how good you are with a given class. You are most likely to WANT to improve on something you actually love to play... even if theoretically you picked the "WORST" class in the game, they could patch it in a month and it becomes the strongest. Just ask Sage players, they've been on both ends several times in just the past year alone.

Looks good. Though I think you might want to consider adding APM to your reviews, like a rating as well. For some of us that is more important. It took me wayyyy too long to play Zerker. I am 45 and deal with arthritis and that shouldn't have happened. So, for me, no, I shouldn't just go with whatever looks cool. lol Case in point I started with Sorc. Also there are factors such as ping and computer set ups, etc. Nova awake is super cool and super quick and super high APM, and it looks amazing. Hard to know what you want until you get into the game but IMO taking a low apm easy to do damage takes learning the class off the stressors early. This game also does not favor you playing one class because they constantly have new good looking classes and season server with exclusive content. Though with magnus that is easier these days, ADHD ppl like me don't stand much of a chance. lol
Completionists and those wanting achievements and titles, should be aware each class has to complete awake and succ story lines to fill out books and titles so at least you are rewarded if you bounce around a lot. PVE and lifeskillers mainly.
PVP focus needs to stick with one class. Muscle memory is huge for that.
Holy sht, this is the best point I've read here, such a good thing to point out in moat of these videos and not everyone does it, most of these class are awesome but the APM makes it hard to play some of them, glad you still enjoy the game also, and I also think Guardian is the best at low apm and clearing good grinding spots.
@@manux5306 seconded on guardian recommendation, it's a very relaxed pve experience compared to most classes, she has surprisingly high mobility as well and can take some big hits, and can get away with doing grind spots that you're undergeared for. nova succession is also a low apm option, once you get used to her mobility and block mechanics, and is very convenient when you need to quickly go afk. nigh unkilleable as long as your back isnt exposed.
Need more vids like this for new players, but I think difficulty of learning and playing the class should also be shown. While it’s all opinion base anyways it would be some useful info for new players. Tho my opinion is to just go for what pops out, the more intriguing the more likely they’ll continue to play like the rest of us
I mainly choose a class because of their mobility and ease of use (for me that is)
As such my fav classes are: Shai, Kuno, Guardian, Witch and Maehwa.
Warrior succ is pretty easy and also very mobile ! That the only one who give me that much fun ^^

Have you tried out Lahn? Succ is one of the best in PvE (Only have to use like 4 skills not counting movement), and Awakening is one of the best in 1v1/Small-scale. Succ is also a terrorist in largescale, she's like a freakn Eagle with how she can swoop in get a kill and fly away again.

After having played Awk Woosa in end game spots, although she lacks protections , correct me if I'm wrong but if she gets slightly faster animations and protections to her flowers, people might realize how busted her burst damage is, it's unreal
burst damage is super good for hexe for example.
as i kill mobs way faster compared to succesion, lack of protection for awakening indeed.

Its true that the flowers do a bunch of damage, but they're only useful at a few spots that require alot of gear to grind.

Corsair is fun but not the best unfortunatly, on the other hand, Drakania is BROKEN af in awakening ( for PvP, but lack of dammage in PvE sooo...) choose the one u prefer visually and which one you have more fun !
Love the guide. Something that would help is easyness of playstyle per character, as a player not use to this combat I want to start with an easy class and work my way up.
It depends of what type of person you are and then you will find easily your character. For example I like melee characters.

This is not true at all, the new classes like Woosa were and still are way better in many spots like Orcs. If you mean all-around then yes it's top tier.

I last played right when Guardian came out. I remember grinding those naga's once you get to desert and a zerker came out of nowhere and slammed me so I was stunned, did some big move, then grabbed and slammed me and I died. I uninstalled at that time but now I'm coming back since there is no pvp on season servers lol. Dude straight up ganked me left n right after that moment.
Couldn't have come at a better time, just come back to the game and looking for some inspiration for a tag.
I've been plaing Warrior since Beta and been playing it in awakening since it got released and tbh you can play it either relaxed and still have a good easy PVE grind or you can min-max the hell out of your combos and skill rotation and grind pretty fast. The Awakening Warriror grind really feels smooth in my opinion. (As you never really need to pay attention to your ressources, healing and not really need to bring any potions)
Im a PVE only player and never really connected to other calsses and get bored of their playstyles quite fast but perhaps it's time to try out some more of them and see if it's worth the change.

Would you recommend Nova as a starting player? Looking at the content, it should do well in regular grinding until mid-end part?

i played myself her till the desert areas (not further) past lv57. so iam honestly not very experienced in the late mid or endgame but she plays very good till this point :)
You tried to be subtle but the main problem with pvp in this game is if you don't have a grab or a lot of range, pvp is going to suck for you.

I disagree agree with awake sage pve. I've tested seasonal musa, hash, and sage. Musa and hash are great for mid lvl areas or if you grinding for pot piece but if it's not something you insta kill it gets far more difficult. Season Sage though SE and gyfin ez big damage great movement and constant protection makes it great on the endgame zones.
For awak hash 1v1 pvp, you are correct. Where you are not correct is as follows. Awak hash does not have good sustain. He lacks both mp and hp sustain (albeit mp sustain issues can be circumvented to a degree by using mp regen add-on for a skill and spirit perfume elixir.) He also lacks as a endgame pve grinder. Awak hash is not good at hexe, requires massive amounts of effort to provide below mediocre to mediocre results. Esp compared to his succ counterpart. Also backed by garmoth grind data, not just me as a awak hash main. Awak hash is also not good at boss blitz due to his hp sustain issues. C7 difficulty is near impossible on awak hash due to his lack of hp sustain and combo oriented damage, even with 722gs. As a awak hash you have medium to long animations that you mainly trade damage with mobs in order to get your combo off with a reposition dash every now and then. The combo you do is tight and not much room to break the combo for a dash. The dashes must be in specific points otherwise your flow for the combo gets ruined. The awak spec for the class, is in need of major pve buffs to make it worth using at the high end for the effort you put in compared to many other classes in the game. Also awak hash is still the only class in the game to have 0% accuracy rate on his skills, and is mandatory required to maintain a 9% accuracy self buff at all times, to have any type of accuracy rate at all.
Succ Hash does not have acc on any skill either, I would like that we get acc on some base and awk skills too.
Once the seasons ends at the end of July will there be a new season and can create a new seasonal character? (probably buffs/nerfs too?)
Lahn is definitely not on the level of the other 5 star pve classes here, and awk Nova should be bumped up to 5 for sure
For early game (0ap - 230ap): awakening Valkyrie is bar none the single best PVE on seasonal servers as well as anything centaurs and earlier. It's not even close. Pre-230ap she is god tier but post-230ap she falls off a cliff and is one of the worst classes. Other strong classes for seasonal are Musa, Maewha, Archer & Hash.
For the early mid game (230ap - 270ap): I feel like Zerk is extremely overrated, he is easy to play but difficult to master. His movement requires insane APM to keep up with other classes like Awakening Nova/Striker/Musa/Drakania and Succession Lahn. They all have better movement, higher damage, and pull more trash per hour,. They do tend to fall off very slightly the higher up you go where Berzerker seemly doesn't.
For the late mid game (270ap - 290ap): The previously mentioned classes still preform relatively well, but I think even post-nurf succession Maegu is still the favorite here. I/m pretty sure she still pulls the same if not more trash than zerker.
For end game (290ap - 310ap: succession Woosa and Maegu used to be similar but because PA wanted people to try Maegu awakening instead of skip over it like they did with Woosa awakening, they decided to gut succession Maegu's damage which hurt her drastically. Now succession Woosa is the only class that can pull highest numbers all things equal.

Archer is one of the worst characters to level up throughout the campaign. And by no means he is any good at early game (season) after his nerfs/reworks.
@@thebomber7641 For sure it's not as brain dead or as good as awakening Valkyrie but it's much stronger than other classes early on due to the high damage from far range and above average mobility. It takes more apm and skill to play compared to other classes, and people who don't have that often claim the class is bad. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@Flanktank2 why would you need a high damage early on when everything dies from 1 hit? Also that damage output is not cosistent anymore. PVE Archer plays in melee because that is how he designed. Mobility is ok... if you enjoy moving backwards without seeing where you going
I've had Zerker as my main for almost 4 years now and he it's basically impossible to be high APM. When I had Musa tagged for a while not even low spots could I come close to my Zerker in trash numbers. Succ Zerker only falls off a little at end-game because we simply don't have the damage that other top tier classes have, but still easily 4/5 in PvE overall (but only for Succ, Awakening is genuinely bad at PvE in any spot).
Early and middle game Succ Zerker and Awaken Valk are easily kings and queens that far exceed every class.
At end game imo the standouts are Shai, Woosa, Hash, Nova and the skilled exceptions. Like the Mystics I know who can consistently pull 26K+ at Orcs.

Fundamentally you nailed every class explanation, but your rankings on overwhelming majority of these are WAY WAY off. In what universe is a Succ Maehwa a 4/5 in any PvP setting? How are you talking about Succ Mae being more popular when the only Succ mae that even exists is Neptunez. I think you are confusing Succ Musa and Succ Maehwa. How on earth are you giving Succ Wiz 3/5 in Dueling but Awaken Mystic is 4/5. So few of these are accurate at all, I could correct almost every single ranking. I love your content man, but this was way off the mark.

@@CaledonianCraft biggest mistake i made : some guide suggested stacking enchant fails on bad equipment to make enchant of main equipment easier. HOWEVER since it's seasonal realm i later found that you had some stones that increased % enchant chance and i should be using them instead. Effectively i wasted all my enchanting stones at some trash gear and eventually could not progress in campaign beacuse i was just too weak. Make sure you read tooltips of every item you have.
Oh and i suggest reading all quest stories you do. Some are tedious and i felt like giving up / just completing objectives but all in all the storylane is amazing. Even with the shitty ones included it's 8/10

Very nice work. I think you should do a new player friendly guide. For example ranger is not new player friendly at all. Her low defense requires a healthy level of gear and she has not hp or mp sustain without a t4 fairy with auto pot and infinite potions. You would have to max out weight to get by easily. However ranger does have high damage, accuracy and a good pulling mechanic. Guardian on the other hand is super new player friendly. She has hp per hit and huge aoes. Low apm and high damage for pve. She doesn’t not require pots as heavily as ranger does and she has good accuracy.

Succession Sage same, high duelling potential as Awakening and also same pve? I am sure Succession has always been one of the most predictable 1v1 matchups.

Yes, he is predictable and easy to beat in succession for most classes in 1v1. The 3 minute buff is very powerful so you can run people down but that’s about it. Awakening is a very good duelist though.

Really good video - only thing I would of mentioned is stamina - Sorc might be good but only when you are north of 2500 stamina - before that you will really have to mix things up - imo of course.

It was very helpful. One thing I wish you would add would be also some kind of rating how difficult each class is to play.
Don't want to be that guy but i think succ hash is pretty bad in largescale. He is not really great at anything other than chip damage to structures in nodewars. Other than that he is very lacking. Both Armin and Divios had him in the bottom 5 of all classes for nodewars. Awk is just the preferable spec for pvp in general. And in Pve succ is still a lot better, succ pulls at least 1.5k more at hexe.
I main Succ hash and I think is not the worst in large scale pvp but for sure not 5 stars, at dueling it can be reallly good but u have to know ir matchups and for endgame pve spots he is definitely top tier.
Succ far outshines Awakening in a special teams perspective like Flex for instance. I would prefer an Awaken Hash for a mainball perspective but ain't nobody ever gonna be excited about having an Awaken Hash in mainball despite it's great damage, AoE, and Slows.
