I've got a master's in econometrics and the first few months we did all the calculations with pen and paper, even though nobody in the real world does that. Also, at my current job they only used Excel until I started working there and introduced other tools.
Many thanks for doing this video, while studying data analysis, I became too emerged in Excel and struggled with the limitations you have describe. It looks like I have learned enough of it and its the time to upgrade my knowledge.
The title is a bit misleading, since the video is much more about “how I *don't* use Excel as a BI analyst”, and it's just an excuse to say that course A is better than course B.
Sorry to say but I disagree. The first part of the video is dedicated completely to the 2 ways Excel is used in Business Intelligence. And there is no excuse. Courses that claim to teach BI and spend loads of time dedicated to Excel are simply short-changing those who take them.
An end-to-end demo would say alot more. Thanks.
