that's a handy mod I was going to order metal gears when my first 10 2 transmission stripped but I found a all metal transmission with gears for the same price

For sure that was the problem it was wiggling around making a grinding sound it was too loose with this mod it got super tight you can't even wiggle the top shaft at all thanks for watching

Do it it makes the top shaft have no play at all, Our scx10iI shaft wiggled back and fourth when new with play and with this extra bearing out far close to the spur gear works wonders to stabilize the shaft. Thanks for watching.

Yes I don't know why they didn't put the bearing or something on the end it holds the shack from wiggling around maybe they'll see this and start putting them in their kits?

Thanks the two bearings on the end of the shaft make it wobble bad this one further out on the shaft makes it have no play at all in the shaft, much better!
