- To conclude my time with the Mazda 3 Turbo Hatchback, join me on a POV Night Drive. Now this has been my favorite mainstream Mazda to date. Let’s discuss. I was very much reluctant to let it go back to the press dungeon for starters. But in this time, I fell in love with this 2023 Mazda 3 Turbo Hatch. 🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: Under the hood is the 2.5L Turbo 4 making 250HP (227HP in 87 octane) and 320 lb-ft of torque, (310 lb-ft of torque on 87 octane) a decent amount of power in a tiny sedan. Power is sent to all four wheels only through a surprisingly good 6-Speed automatic. 🏁

The dial to navigate the infotainment is easily one of my favourite things inside the Mazda 3

Mazda needs to put some ambient lighting in the cabin! Too dam dark at night

I installed the optic fiber ambient light, to match Mercedes Benz :) Took me 50 bucks and 2 hours

In the market for either this or a golf R. Is the golf R worth the extra 10-15k? I know it’s considerably faster, but the Mazda get around 10mpg more not that, that’s a huge concern.
totally different vehicles to be honest. Golf R is in a different league, more expensive, the extra power, Way more serious performance machine as well.
This is a grown up WRX or a budget 2 series gran coupe/ A3/ A Class in the sense of offering premium materials, looks, and feel with a peppy engine, refined ride, good steering.
too dark, mazda need som ambient light. outdated in fotainment
ambient lighting? yes it needs it. Outdated infotainment? Absolutely not. There is nothing wrong with this system at all… it has everything and works flawlessly and is simple to navigate.

The simplistic inoftainment makes it attractive, seems like they dont make simple mechanical cars without all the electric ai hoopla anymore
@@datway3582Hell of a first car. Just got the 21 Hatchback Select and it's been a dream to drive. I drove a '99 civic as my first car. Then a '98 Cherokee. Then a '01 Camry. Just passed my '08 4 Runner to my dad and bought a Certified Pre-Owned 21. Can't even imagine being so lucky to have this as my first car!
@@DiscoPh3v3r super amazing bro and my bad it’s technically not my first car, I’m 24 now, I’ve driven my parents cars and shared with them and my brother, 2012 Mazda 3 hatch and now it’s at 270km and done for lol, and Toyota matrix, I really want to get rid of these cars and get something new, people don’t realize how blessed they are to be driving brand new cars handed to them
