Pure Fiction just revived so many units, lightcones and introduced a lot more build alternatives. Feels great to be able to benefit from my losses (except for yanqing)
Funny enough, in most PF videos I've seen in the comments a few who kept b'ing about that mode and how Hoyo was "forcing" us to built erudition cause if not it was impossible to clear. Which I found really strange since on my first attempt, using the worst buff possible (the 3rd one, ult dmg buff) I cleared 11/12 stars without any erudition and using sustains in both teams. Then discovered the 2nd buff (80%) was OP and still using the same teams I cleared 12/12 and improved on my 3rd one by 6k. Imo, you should never feel forced to invest in a unit you don't like. If tomorrow a mode appeared and Arlan was the best at clearing it, I don't think many would invest in him. I personally always wanted to invest in Herta at some point and had started to after PF came out but I wanted to be sure I wasn't able to clear it without her first and saw my mistakes so in the end I didn't need her. But one mistake I've often seen is people focused too much on the elite which slowed down their points. Thankfully I had MrPokke to guide me properly before I even tried the event.
unironically crit luocha is very good for this mode, i was trying to grind for 40k on the last stage with blade + jingliu but i was stuck on 30-33k, then i decided to change hwohwo for luocha and build luocha with rainbow crit rate/dmg pieces and his ult can clear one intire wave, in top of that he can ensure that blade ult can clear a wave becouse of the lost HP scaling, and he can remove the annoying shields that gepard put on the ads while killing all the ads at the same time
@dltalian6736 ive been playing dps luocha from the start bahaha, he has always healed enough so i just kept cranking his crit stats over time lol! I pulled a really early E1 for him tho, which boosts his damage and healing, so that likely helps!
I imagine it doesn't do that much damage but the mobs are weak enough that they will die to his burst anyways, especially if you pick the cacophony which buffs ult DMG.@@dltalian6736
Ultimately I suppose Seele is equivalent to a blast character, since: - Resurgence turns one attack into two as long as she can kill. - Her ultimate cost of 120 is effectively something more like 70-80 given how many more basics and skills she uses due to resurgence. - She buffs her own speed and has action advance on skill and basic. So you could say that she basically deals 2.5-3 attacks for an equivalent amount of motion value compared to a destruction unit, and makes up for it by not being forced to target the boss as one of those attacks. As long as she's sufficiently invested so that she can guarantee resurgence triggers.

I really enjoy watching your guides when it comes to HSR. You're the only CC that isn't doomposting certain characters like Seele. You give a genuine and unbiased opinion on how the characters perform as it should be.
Wait what? I don't watch any content creators except Pokke and Dreamy so I am shocked that others are doomposting character that is like top 3 every MoC rotation and now barely worse than some Erudition chars in PF as a HUNT unit.

Glad to see Pela being mentioned here. Her E1 giving her 5 energy from enemy death regardless of who kills the enemy lets her cycle her ultimate really quickly especially with ER Rope + Talent + Tutorial LC.
Im so excited to try fun team in PF with Seele Bronya Sparkle and Tingyun. 2 supports that would keep advancing forward Seele and one giving her energy
I found Quid Pro Huohuo + Jingliu + Bronya + Sub DPS that matches enemy weakness (Herta or Kafka or Himeko) to be a decent comp for people trying to transition their hypercarry comp into a pure fiction one. I got 40k points in every stage I used it in. Bronya + Huohuo together keep Jingliu's uptime into her transitioned state very high, while the sub dps helps pick off strays pretty well, especially for when Bronya and Huohuo ult are up. Asta + Ruan Mei + double DPS with no sustain also was really strong in my experience since both are team buffers. Asta gives lots of attack which Ruan Mei doesn't. Ruan Mei lets you break super fast which lets you more safely not have a sustain here. Both give speed letting you have lots of turns every cycle with ease. Also very easy 40k points using that setup. These were my two goto teams to get 40k across the board with no difficulty.
Damn, that Freedom Gundam on the back looks sexy. Edit: As much as the statement here is true, the only dual dps setup highlighted here was Herta + Himeko. I believe other dual dps setup should also be highlighted as Jingliu + Herta/Blade also clears it with consistent 40k especially since Herta needs someone who do multi target to turn enemy hp down and since as mentioned that PF doesnt really need high burst dmg, there is more reason that Dual DPS is more viable than running hypercarry.
Agreed with dual dps. Prydwen just released their own tier list and it's baffling how they didn't consider Himeko, Herta, Blade, Clara, Jingliu as potential synergists. Jingliu+Blade, I would even consider as the 3rd or 4th best team variant, tied with Kafka.

@@donew1thita11 just stack Atk on her, she can work with any DPS even DHIL since she never use her skill my DHIL was able to constantly use 3 skill point. Or you can use the herta Himeko combo if you have them build. I didn’t build them so I just use JY and DHIL and it work just fine, I’m in the process of building Herta and Himeko but it’s taking way too long so I just went ahead and clear it with other character.
I loved my Himeko even though she wasn't very good for MoC but ever since PF came out, losing the 50/50 to her was the biggest blessing in disguise ever
I just recently managed to get 32K with F2P Seele on Node 1. Yes, it's doable and not cope as people thought it would as long you can get her resurgence. If not, It's pure cope 🤣🤣. I would still recommend Erudition though to make your life easier 👍
@invertbrid I tried again with my mei that is mostly built(only some traces left) and scored higher on the jingliu team. Clara isn't even built great. 2pc hp/2pc fua. No planar bonus. She surprised me. She really helped fill the jing liu down time
with S5 Tutorial LC & all traces unlocked, you only need 8% ehr from substats to reach ehr requirement. this makes it easier to allocate more into crit rate/dmg, atk% & spd stats. Crit Rate/DMG body, SPD boots or ATK% boots if you can get high spd substats, Ice% orb or ATK% if used with Ruan Mei, then Energy rope.
I used the same team I used for moc full clear and it worked fine, it seems way easier than moc thats for sure but maybe they'll make it harder later on since we only have 6 levels currently

Many players are once again trashing Jing Yuan just because the Lightning Lord is slow but forgot the fact that his skill and ult is his main damage in Pure Fiction against those small monster waves. There are also dumb players thought that Jing Yuan's ult is the Lightning Lord.
@@dewanegara8333 I'm not saying we should ignore LL. Jing Yuan has 3 sources of damage (skill, ult, LL) and all of them are hitting all enemies. It just so happen that Jing Yuan can clear 2-3 waves (depending on your harmony support and speed) than his LL but the LL still hits on like every 4th or 5th wave (LL timing is good in saving skill points) Serval's ULT is her only ability that can hit all enemies and JY ult is slightly stronger than Serval's ULT. If you don't have well built Jing Yuan, sure you can pick Serval.
As always..... We need content where its only one boss, and no adds. And boss doesnt do too much dmg, and cant do any CC so gepad enough to sustain. But bit tankier
Here is a thought if you have those 2 characters. If you have Ruan Mei, she breaks enemies and delays them. Then pair her with Welt and it delays them even further and imprisonment helps as well. I'm getting to my point. Now pair those 2 with Topaz. Why ? Cause then you can put Dr Ratio as the 4th and the debuffs Welt will keep putting on enemies will trigger Ratio which then will trigger numby and so on and on. By the time the enemy even gets a turn, they'll be almost dead at that point.
Yea selee unexpectedly very good in this PF as hypercarry, better than destruction which has aoe lol. Also support that have aoe ulti like pela, luocha, FX, even MC fire, have more value due they can give bombs. Pela prob best support in this content, at least from my experience. I replaced RM with her in JL bronya huohuo team and my score went from 25k to 31k easily.
I beat MOC 12 full stars 36/36, but for the life of me I cannot 3 star pure fiction Stage 4. MY only 2 main dpsers are QQ and Jingliu. my supports are Ruan Mei, Bronya, Ting, Hanya, Pela, Fu, and Huo Huo all endgame builds. I just built Clara fully, but still cannot 3 star it. Any tips?
Ive clear one side using JL pela bronya huohuo. Huohuo uncan change with luocha or fire MC. I used selee on other side. But QQ maybe bit tricky to use. At this point u maybe better off raising herta for side 1 and use JL for side 2. U can use clara as subdps too. Maybe clara RM herta sustain for first part then put ur JL on second part,, no ice weakness but hopefully enough. Or if doesnt work, put herta hyprarry team on side 1 and use JL clara RM on second part
Better for PF since the initial break will be stronger, and you will get soo much more energy from constant breaking. In MOC you don´t break as often, and the bleed is % damage, so Break Effect loses value.
You take advantage of the fact that CN creators can't use UA-cam legally speaking, and you steal their content for your own gain without actually giving benefits to the CN creators. For countless videos all you do is take their content 1:1 and say it in English. Simply including the link of CN videos and calling it a day is not called crediting them if you're gaining money from their hard work and analysis. Everyone seems doing well in a mode that is supposed to be for erudition units to shine....while in moc erudition units are lacking....i think this mode should enhance erudition units and hold back other units further than this.....for example any unit that is not erudition deals 50% less dmg or if you attack 5 enemies at the same time you get bonus dmg....cuz if I can clear without erudition then what's the benefit.
Then you'd have all the people who didn't invest into erudition units feel forced to invest in units they didn't want or have the resources to do so and then they are stuck with an angry mob of players who feel cheated for their previous investment. Can't penalize the majority of players who didn't invest the way you think they should and expect nothing to go wrong. I as someone who has 0 investment in any Erudition units and am limited in choosing who I can upgrade would've been pissed if your idea was a thing. Also in the next PF, erudition units will be useless again cause it'll be DoT based. To improve on your idea, what they should've done is give a trial erudition unit if they implemented your idea. This way people like me wouldn't have been f'ed over by this idea of yours. Same goes for when next PF comes out with DoT comps, they should give the choice to use a trial Kafka for the event for those who don't have DoT units built.

@@koraymaru2926 The MoC comparison is a bit wonky since I've seen MoC 12 cleared with herta as main dps and plenty of erudition units clearing MoC 11 without any issues. Back when MoC 10 was the top floor I've seen many Himeko 0 cycles done as well. Hell I think even MrPokke cleared MoC 10 with Arlan of all characters. It's not because you can't do it that no one else can. Plus doing it your way you are locking out people who can't invest in new characters out of jades and telling them too bad and wait for your lil MoC to come back. I'll be blunt and say you are just being selfish because you have many erudition units built most likely and are salty that people like me didn't need any to get 12/12. Just like MoC and people clearing it with just 4* units as a challenge, it was a challenge to clear PF without any erudition units. No one is forced to build any particular units. The logic is simple, to clear MoC comfortably, 1 sustain with either a hyper carry or dual dps. I've seen a Tingyun hyper carry clearing MoC 10. Which shows to me that when properly supported, any dps can clear MoC. If you're having issues, it might have something to do with how you support them. Me I cleared PF and only got 66k and then 65k for the later 2 stages. People with built Seele's and erudition units smoke me on the points and I don't care cause a clear is a clear. You can brag on clearing everything at 80k and that's great for you. Means you are better at the event than me. But in the end, who gives a damn when a clear is a clear and we got the same rewards.

This mode literally revive herta and himeko which is arguably 2 of the WORST characters, that's stuf alone already make this mode actually good for erudition Meanwhile "everyone" You mention isn't exactly everyone, it's only for characters that have good aoe IL, Jingliu, and blade all have aoe Seele will literally get benefit from the unlimited normal enemies here Beside you can't make this mode exclusively for erudition, it's literally will force everyone to build more characters. Nor for moc, what if i said you don't actually forced to build character like jingliu, most of the characters still able to clear moc

Yess!! I used clara with dps luocha and dps pela on side 1 and they ATE. Clara's skill is also AMAZING in PF, since it hits all 5 enemies.
Lol, never imagined the time would come when dps luocha is actually a valid consideration. It helps that his healing scales off atk too.

As a Clara main with Luocha as a permanent combo, this is the wildest thing I've heard and going to try

E2 IL+Herta is also insane
On ER rope, IL can EBA-Ult-EBA each time he takes a turn, so Herta can spin 3 times each combo

It just so happen that Jing Yuan can clear 2-3 waves (depending on your harmony support and speed) than his LL but the LL still hits on like every 4th or 5th wave (LL timing is good in saving skill points) Serval's ULT is her only ability that can hit all enemies and JY ult is slightly stronger than Serval's ULT. If you don't have well built Jing Yuan, sure you can pick Serval.

Here is a thought if you have those 2 characters. If you have Ruan Mei, she breaks enemies and delays them. Then pair her with Welt and it delays them even further and imprisonment helps as well. I'm getting to my point. Now pair those 2 with Topaz. Why ? Cause then you can put Dr Ratio as the 4th and the debuffs Welt will keep putting on enemies will trigger Ratio which then will trigger numby and so on and on. By the time the enemy even gets a turn, they'll be almost dead at that point.
Yea selee unexpectedly very good in this PF as hypercarry, better than destruction which has aoe lol.
Also support that have aoe ulti like pela, luocha, FX, even MC fire, have more value due they can give bombs. Pela prob best support in this content, at least from my experience. I replaced RM with her in JL bronya huohuo team and my score went from 25k to 31k easily.

I beat MOC 12 full stars 36/36, but for the life of me I cannot 3 star pure fiction Stage 4. MY only 2 main dpsers are QQ and Jingliu. my supports are Ruan Mei, Bronya, Ting, Hanya, Pela, Fu, and Huo Huo all endgame builds. I just built Clara fully, but still cannot 3 star it. Any tips?
Go for Herta, she's the best sub dps for PF imo, and she also works in hypercarry (there already are showcase on YT lolm
Ive clear one side using JL pela bronya huohuo. Huohuo uncan change with luocha or fire MC.
I used selee on other side. But QQ maybe bit tricky to use. At this point u maybe better off raising herta for side 1 and use JL for side 2.
U can use clara as subdps too. Maybe clara RM herta sustain for first part then put ur JL on second part,, no ice weakness but hopefully enough. Or if doesnt work, put herta hyprarry team on side 1 and use JL clara RM on second part
The first (Erupt) and second(Excitation) cacophonies are the best buffs. Don't pick the 3rd one (Rupture).

Better for PF since the initial break will be stronger, and you will get soo much more energy from constant breaking. In MOC you don´t break as often, and the bleed is % damage, so Break Effect loses value.

Everyone seems doing well in a mode that is supposed to be for erudition units to shine....while in moc erudition units are lacking....i think this mode should enhance erudition units and hold back other units further than this.....for example any unit that is not erudition deals 50% less dmg or if you attack 5 enemies at the same time you get bonus dmg....cuz if I can clear without erudition then what's the benefit.
Then you'd have all the people who didn't invest into erudition units feel forced to invest in units they didn't want or have the resources to do so and then they are stuck with an angry mob of players who feel cheated for their previous investment. Can't penalize the majority of players who didn't invest the way you think they should and expect nothing to go wrong. I as someone who has 0 investment in any Erudition units and am limited in choosing who I can upgrade would've been pissed if your idea was a thing.
Also in the next PF, erudition units will be useless again cause it'll be DoT based. To improve on your idea, what they should've done is give a trial erudition unit if they implemented your idea. This way people like me wouldn't have been f'ed over by this idea of yours. Same goes for when next PF comes out with DoT comps, they should give the choice to use a trial Kafka for the event for those who don't have DoT units built.
@@Kazeshini11 Same thing is for MOC technically people are forced to build other units cuz erudition is not good....so keeping each unit in their mode would be the best thing since MOC still exists even if they are bad in PF these units still have MOC.... while erudition hardly being the strong or almost equal in their mode feels like not a big upgrade for erudition units
@@koraymaru2926 The MoC comparison is a bit wonky since I've seen MoC 12 cleared with herta as main dps and plenty of erudition units clearing MoC 11 without any issues. Back when MoC 10 was the top floor I've seen many Himeko 0 cycles done as well. Hell I think even MrPokke cleared MoC 10 with Arlan of all characters.
It's not because you can't do it that no one else can. Plus doing it your way you are locking out people who can't invest in new characters out of jades and telling them too bad and wait for your lil MoC to come back. I'll be blunt and say you are just being selfish because you have many erudition units built most likely and are salty that people like me didn't need any to get 12/12.
Just like MoC and people clearing it with just 4* units as a challenge, it was a challenge to clear PF without any erudition units. No one is forced to build any particular units. The logic is simple, to clear MoC comfortably, 1 sustain with either a hyper carry or dual dps. I've seen a Tingyun hyper carry clearing MoC 10. Which shows to me that when properly supported, any dps can clear MoC. If you're having issues, it might have something to do with how you support them.
Me I cleared PF and only got 66k and then 65k for the later 2 stages. People with built Seele's and erudition units smoke me on the points and I don't care cause a clear is a clear. You can brag on clearing everything at 80k and that's great for you. Means you are better at the event than me. But in the end, who gives a damn when a clear is a clear and we got the same rewards.

This mode literally revive herta and himeko which is arguably 2 of the WORST characters, that's stuf alone already make this mode actually good for erudition

Beside you can't make this mode exclusively for erudition, it's literally will force everyone to build more characters. Nor for moc, what if i said you don't actually forced to build character like jingliu, most of the characters still able to clear moc
