Nice. I have wanted this model for a few years now. I have got the same Brass block for my '98 Washburn D333 , and going to put them in all my FR Guitars. Next , my Washburn Marzi (Firebird shape). I love Hard Tails, but like the Floyds for staying in tune. I'm not a big Whammy Gut , but its give & take. They make 42 Big Blocks, but leaving the back cover off is a pet peeve of mine. Great Stuff.
Dude, that’s just wicked! I have the trans purple burst of the same guitar and it’s my favorite next to my SLS C-1 from Schecter. I’m gonna try that upgrade, thank you so much for making the video and passing the information!
Thank you for showing this. ...and question: does this block limit the Floyd Rose range in any way? I didn't notice you diving or pulling up to see how far it can go after the block upgrade
Damn man...where did you get an e-1 fr s in trans red???? Is that one from the limit edition run that they did with that store Musician Mayhem? Been looking for that big time. The other finishes like the green, purple and candy apple are ok but that one pops.
Hey there your e1 frs is stunning!! What colour finish is it? We have seen the red SCAR finish being the satin candy apple, the purple and the green but not one like yours?
@@milesfisher3185 oh ok thank you for reply. It looks beautiful and exactly what my son and I are after. I have a Hellraiser Hybrid FRS in the ultraviolet and we love the E-1 shape and when we saw yours in that red quilted top finish!!!!
Hey man, I have the exact same guitar and was thinking of installing one of these blocks. Have you noticed much of a difference in how far the bridge moves since you installed yours? I've heard that the thicker block can limit how high or low the bridge can move but wasn't sure if it was a big difference or not
Hi, I'm not super aggressive with tremolo, but I just pushed it until the bar hit the top wood, so it definitely dives enough. On pullups, i got one full tone on the 1st string and a 5th on the 6th string. I pulled it up as far as I dared without crashing the block. Hope this helps. I'm not Dimebag Darrell though lol. PS, does your 1st string get caught on the lower fret edges? My frets must have lifted a little. I'm going to have to take it to a luthier...
@milesfisher3185 thanks for your response, I think that kind of range should be fine in my case (I use thicker low strings so my bridge has more resistance anyway). In terms of the 1st string getting caught, I haven't had that problem, and as far as I can tell, all my frets are fine. Hope you can get that fixed though man, it's one hell of a guitar!
It's the size of the block and the fact that it's brass
Sounds awesome dude
Keep rockin

That thing sounds killer!
Thanks! Yes I've been quite happy with it
Brilliant! Thank you so much!

Thank you! This was a special run trans red finish for Musician Madness, where I bought it from on line.

Great video bud, could I ask where you purchased this guitar as I haven’t seen one with this color before.
Hi, it's a trans red according to the receipt. I bought it from Musician Madness and the invoice says it's an MM special run.
Thank you for your contrubution to music! Yes Floyd Rose kills sustain... unfortunately
The sustainiac is the best sustain pickup there is....what are you talking about?????
You don't need that shim between the block and plate
