In about 1982, driving a hot rodded 69 Chavy Malibu for the first time with a powerful stereo, not played guitar in 10 years. This came on after I only went a half mile down the road and this came on. I dug out my vintage Fender Tremolux and Hagstrom and played again. Since joined a band, make my own music, and am still going at it in 2024. Thanks Brian, you got me out of the disco era.

Peut-être est-il pour eux le moment de sonner l'heure de la retraite - j'ai toujours pensé que le rockabilly s'arrêtait à l'âge de 25 ans. On vient de m'en administrer la preuve. Les Stray Cats (qui, on le sait, se détestent par pure jalousie les uns les autres, feraient mieux de confectionner des napperons en dentelles ou de collectionner les pots de confiture - qu'ils auront, bien sûr, créés eux-mêmes). En tout cas, je leur souhaite aux trois une bonne pré-retraite, même si elle est de l'ordre du tragi-comique et du pathétique. Brian Setzer est un magnifique et flamboyant guitariste, preuve que ça ne suffit pas pour faire un groupe. Philippe
