    I have found it so odd that people dont believe long haulers. It’s the oddest thing i have ever seen.

      Same. Why is so hard to believe that a virus can affect your brain and nervous system negatively? Do these same people not believe others when they say they've lost their sense of taste or smell? How is it any different?

    Interesting how many of us have the same exact anniversary! Also, for long haulers including myself, being believed by doctors that are not particularly up to speed with the over 200 symptoms, that can complicate diagnosis of other issues, we get tossed into the invisible pile. I recently had an appendectomy, post surgery were multiple problems. In the long run, it was long Covid symptoms that reared up and complicated understanding what was going on. Ultimately, a surgeon was willing to take in the information seriously and together, we were able to figure it out and she came up with a treatment plan, appears to be working.

      @@pc24681 first time was the original 19, second was the delta and was in bed for two months. I ‘believe’ there may have been a third, but it also could have been long Covid setting in, as I remained vigilant since the first illness ( before we knew what it really was), then the second time, had to say no,no, no, to several friends who did not take precautions, but were willing to spread it. Because of my vigilance, I told my doc there was no possibility of a new infection and he said he was sure it was long Covid. I thought I was impossibly becoming reinfected repeatedly, despite hefty precautions, but it was actually long Covid. So twice for sure and it was the delta that took me down. Symptoms have always been significant for me and the surgery just aggravated everything, like stabbing pains throughout my torso. Lots of other weird symptoms along the way. These videos are really helpful and we support each other.
      What about you? How many times have you been infected and how sick were you each time? When was your first infection and did you get delta?

      Any ideas how you caught Covid and is it like the Flu for you or worse?
      Also have you fully recovered 100 percent? 🙏🏽

    Between the misinformation regarding origin, the parties involved, politicization, and complete disconnect of mainstream media coverage regarding long covid it makes it hard to refute the possibility of a legitimate conspiracy.
    It pains me to admit it but I think we as long haulers need to feel more comfortable and less suppressed considering the possibility of a conspiracy. I think long COVID is a wake up call to the systemic issues plaguing our institutions, organizations, and political systems.
    What I've learned from all of this is that lack of media coverage regarding an issue is a powerful form of suppression.

    • @sallyriggs465
      @sallyriggs465  3 місяці тому +1

      Absolutely. If by conspiracy theory you mean like Q anon then maybe that’s not the right’s phraseology. But if you mean are people deliberately downloading and playing this illness and the dangers of acute covid generally to get everyone back to work and spending money then sadly I would agree.

      @@sallyriggs465 Thanks for the reply. Your UA-cam channel's awesome and really keeps me going during these troubling times. Yeah, it's unfortunate that the term conspiracy is a bit of a misunderstood and taboo term.
      I meant more along the textbook definition of the term (a secret plan by a group to do something harmful or unlawful). In this case I see the Wuhan lab, the CDC, the WHO, Anthony Fauci, and the various other orgs, and individuals linked to gain of function research as plausibly being involved in a coverup of responsibility and origin.

    • @sallyriggs465
      @sallyriggs465  3 місяці тому +2

      I think I’m less bothered by the origin now and more bothered by the lack of acknowledgement and support for long covid. We had Sars1 and MERs and H1N1 and Ebola. I don’t think any of them had nefarious origin. But they all had post viral syndromes. And anyone working in infectious disease knew that and should have been talking about it since March 2020 day 1 of pandemic. Or indeed October 2019 when we know covid was rampant in china.

      @@sallyriggs465Interesting, I did not know that. Yeah, the inconsistency in response to COVID's post viral sequelae by the health organizations really doesn't make sense. I've lost so much trust in them post COVID.

    How much do you think it’s a mind-body/TMS is related to long Covid?

    • @sallyriggs465
      @sallyriggs465  3 місяці тому +2

      I don’t believe mind-body and TMS mean the same thing. I am pretty outspoken that I DON’T believe LC is psychosomatic. It’s undoubtedly a biological organic illness. The pathophysiology is still being clarified but the damage done by the spike protein to our bodies is apparent and central to that is vagus nerve damage. ua-cam.com/video/5-0Q4c5DPMU/v-deo.htmlsi=-UtMOFbm6k7xdzgK

    Hello what do you mean when you said that in about 10 to 15 years everybody is going to have serious health issues? Are you referring to Long Covid?

    • @sallyriggs465
      @sallyriggs465  11 днів тому +1

      instagram.com/reel/C8aFWLTOZqa/?igsh=MTk5Y3Z2aGs3enl3Yw== This is partly what I’m talking about - all covid damages our immune systems (not just for people with long covid) so everyone is sicker and lots of other illnesses are making a resurgence. But I’ve also seen papers and heard doctors discussing the possibility that with enough infections everyone will have long covid. I saw a projection that said 15 infections and it would be guaranteed LC. But also more recently I heard a doctor say in 3 years the majority of people will have it (it’s prevalence is increasing more quickly)

      I also heard that there will be a summer surge for Covid infections unfortunately because of the 4th of July celebration!
      You mention that you still wear your face mask out in public. Most people stops wearing mask. I know lots of people gets covid many times which isn’t good for their body and mind.
      I have been very fortunate to never get Covid or any diseases because I don’t be exposed by lots of people daily like most people and I stay up to date with vaccines!
      Hope that you are doing well and be back to 100 percent because you mentioned that you can’t do things like you used to 🙏🏽❤️
