Really good explanation of this set up along with the first video-honestly I would have never thought of this adaptation as a beginner. Thanks for being so thorough. Would you mind sharing what/where the angle guide is and how to source-I assume it’s an aftermarket jig? Thanks!
Thank you so much. I’m glad these videos are able to help you. The angle guide is just one on Amazon. If you look up 1x30 angle guide, there should be several that show up. Just make sure to get the right direction. They make both edge leading and edge trailing.
This is the one I got. But there are plenty others. And the leather belt was not great quality.

Glad you enjoyed. 😊 my progression typically is 120, 600, then the leather 1x30 with a white buffing compound.
Ok so you prefer 1000watt inverter for mobile Sharpening? Just got one but still in the box need to set up like the box set up.
If you’re just running the 1x30 a 400watt inverter is fine. But if you plan on upgrading or need more power down the road a 1k should be more than enough. Just make sure anything you run is less than what the inverter can supply.
I’m currently still running a 400w inverter. Incase you were curious.

Sounds good. I’m betting that will work. 😊 I always shoot for a 20% over as far as energy just so that I don’t fry machines. If that 500 is working, it should be great. 😊
