I really don't understand why people are saying she is over scored! She is such a talented performer and this routine is definitely challenging and well performed!
im korean and if she's not overscored, everybody else must be underscored.. im being honest, this is what i see despite the fact that im from her country..
CX I I don't think that she's overscored at all. but the hater believe it's because she trained in Russia and got the repetitive routines. To me, yes, she's repetitive but not that reason to blame someone overscore. Most of gymnast is repetetive like Rizatdinova. Son had clean technique hardly see her execution fault in her routine, that's why she got high score.

She definetely did overscore. As a gymnast for 8 years i can see that she has the room to improve her pirouettes and leaps.

Chin Lee I know she's been taking Chinese dance for like at least 10 years. As someone that has taken gymnastics and Chinese dance before I think that she can succeed. Its just that she might need more time to achieve this goal

The music playing when she was walking with the ball in her hand made her seem more excited than she already was

She definitely has a simpler and more monotonous routine than other athletes. However, she is superior in interpreting, expressing, and expressing her music. Why are people saying shes overscored like do you even know anything about rhytmic gymnastics, its not all about jumps, catches and breaking your legs, she has to have grace and a routine thats fun and nice to watch too
Infires_And_Jams I have to agree that she is over scored if you actually look at other gymnast you can se that they are performing more difficult skills. And rhythmic gymnastics isn't meant to be those things you said, but perhaps that is what it has come to now with them lower the amount of elements (i believe there were originally 23) to 9 so that everyone else could keep up with the Russians who have basically invented rhythmic gymnast. Go watch one of Alina Karaeva's routines

@TheFashiongirl23 that's cool! It's just not something I knew of. This was my first experience watching it and my mind was blown! My jaw literally dropped lol it's amazing!
It's shame that after 2013, her programs and music choices most of the time were boring and working on the safe side, she lost the spark she had in London 2012, she came in 4th place at Rio due to the fact her routines were designed to ensure she couldn't lost points with the risks and masteries, and in terms of body difficulty she wasn't clean and interesting as in the past
