Bernardo takes a mock driving test as he has his actual driving test coming up very soon. He drives well during the driving test but continuously doesn't listen to the instructions. Bernardo makes a few serious driving faults so, fails the driving test.

I feel bad for him, when I was learning to drive I would do the exact same thing 🤣
My instructor would repeat instructions to turn right for example but I was so focused on observations that even though I heard him, I didn't fully process what he was saying. Once I got more comfortable driving I was able to follow instructions better.
I did that all the time :/
I would get my left and right mixed up all the time because I was so focused on getting the observations right.

@@starsinthenightsky449 don't worry, you can ask the examiner to repeat instructions and if you miss what the sat nav says they can repeat it for you, just ask. I had to 🙂

Actually a good driver. His obviously just not used to reading road signs, cut him some slack.
Especially when he is clearly foreign , so no wonder it will be difficult for him at first.
Tbh reading signs is much harder than following the GPS!
In my case it's opposite... But that's probably bcoz here in Dubai boards are really large, brief and easy to comprehend....I kinda get distracted by the sat nav..
Ofcourse there r..u r goung at high speed..cannt really slow down as cars r behind..bt smehw instructors expect u to read nd comprehend signs at such high spped without losing focus 4m road?..nt possible

Bold of you to assume Scotland has signs for England. We dont do that here, you'll get Carlisle or Newcastle on the signs once you are 10 miles from the border and thats it.

I can say Pin, Bernardo's driving was overall quite good. The sign following is something I found tricky when I first started too. In fact some say sat nav or traffic sign following is better, but everyone's different. I wish Bernardo good luck on test and well done on most overall driving especially the reverse parking exercise

I’ve downloaded the Ultimate Driving Course and it’s amazing. I have learned so much stuff I couldn’t learn with my instructor in 40 lessons. I have a test booked for March and I belive I should be fine with it.

He's good at driving his observations were spot on when doing the pallel Parking just needs more practice on sign following he will definitely pass his test I believe him 😊👊
Bernando would take 30 mins to go to the shop just around the corner. He is a decent driver. He is obivously just used to driving in his own area where he doesn't need to read the signs to know where to go. It won't help on his test though.

Driving in Coventry very tough but he maybe gt better by time if he listens to instructions hope for best👍

I failed my first driving test with so many faults, it was a complete mess. Passed second time with flying colours. Sometimes I think you have to get through one test just to get rid of the nerves and then you do much better second time around! I've been driving 10 years now and I haven't had any accidents so I must be doing okay 😂 good luck to all who are trying to pass! Don't let failing knock your confidence, it gets better!!

To be fair he is in a different city so that had a lot to play with it, plus nerves but still he needs to be more aware of the signs. I’m pleased when I went for my test on the 28th Oct I got the satnav and passed. He’s definitely road ready but signs he needs to work on, that is going to be his down fall.
Nt really..going wrong way is nt a fault..be can keep going wrong way nd nt follow the signs throughout the test bt wouldnt fail 4 that..will only get a frustrated examiner😂

You have more patience than I do, Pin - my mum does this same thing even though she's been driving over 20 years, has to double check every direction twice and often still misses turnings. Drives me batty!
Its a nervous thing. I did that all the time when I was first learning. I still do it more than most people, but im still learning.

Not a bad driver at all, but of practice reading signs and he’ll do well..
Another thing I noticed is he was in the right lane a lot when he had a choice of 2 lanes, that’s what comes with driving by yourself or family members!!

Really recommend purchasing this course. I bought this course around 2 weeks before my test and i finished all videos and it boosted my confidence and taught me new things as well as I didn’t have an instructor but managed to pass. Once again highly recommend.
It's incredible how much I'm learning from these videos. Been driving for 3 years and I can see myself making most of the faults I see in the videos.
Today I ended up in a very difficult parking position and I had a problems getting out of that tight parking space and not hitting other cars. Would really appreciate a video for similar situations if possible :(

I haven't driven since 2003 after a brick wall deliberately came into my car. This series has inspired me to refresh and get back on the roads and I will look into the ultimate driving course.
I understand the sign issues. If I have to drive somewhere new, or take an alternative route, I have a mini-crisis because I don't want to mess up and became a hazard.

Passed my test a couple weeks ago, these videos helped a lot! I knew I did well and towards the end I got excited and it got me a minor fault so ended up with 3 minors in total haha

Following signs were weird for me. I struggled to pay full attention to them as i was trying to focus on driving and what was around me, resulting me forgetting which way to go just yards after we past the sign. Then said, on my actual test i followed them like lightning, was very easy. Must have just been nerves, it looks to be the same with this learner.
@@SourceHades I didn't i was actually decent at controlling the car, it was a thing called nerves that put me off. It happens to a lot of learners when a test day is coming up.
@@SourceHades You'll be fine your test may surprise you. I have high anxiety, and yes i was at a test standard, my instructor knew i was ready but all of a sudden on the hour lesson i had before my test i was making silly mistakes. I was so nervous but then when i was on the test with the examiner, i did really well and was surprisingly calm, i followed the signs really well and only got 4 minors.

Learning to drive and passing your test is pretty much easy the real test is dealing with day to day bellends

Where i live in the UK you literally have to be physic as people's signalling and mirror checks seem non existent ,so many people chuck the rule book out the window once they've passed their test .
I had driven car for 4,5 years before taking lessons and passing the drivings test. I had difficulties observing signs (I could see them but not react to them). By slowing down the speed that I drive in I learned to observe all the signs around me. The more signs, the slower to drive. That works for me.

Why use the handbrake every time when the car is stopped?
Part of the test nowadays.
Just curious why one sets the handbrake at a light with their foot on the clutch. Seems like a perfect way to wear out your left leg and arm. Normally I'd just set the car in neutral and tap on the brake to keep the vehicle still. When I'm about to enter the intersection, I'd set it into get and move the vehicle forward.

The zig-zag lines are usually next to crossings (or school entrances) and prohibit parking there

Alright... he did check the signs but I feel he is like me. He struggles with the signs and just had an issue with them in general! He went along with "not looking at them" so he didn't feel stupid.

Its actually weird to see uk rules, no idea why you guys show signals entering and in roundabouts, here we only show signals exiting one cus its kinda obvious that you gonna go around if u not showing exiting signal. Also whats up with handbrake at every stop. And lastly why u guys need to check mirrors on the side where no one can possibly or legally over take you?
