Rahul takes a mock driving test to find out if he is ready for his actual driving test. During this test, he is doing well but then has a disastrous few minutes.
#drivingtest #drivingfail #drivingtips
I passed my driving test on 15th of June, thank you for your videos Pin, and for the Ultimate Driving Course. You gave me tons of help. Passed first time with only 3 minor - and all of them was pulling on the left, the easiest thing.:D It went really well anyway.
Keep watching your vids, and TikToks, because you never stop learning.:)
What were the minors when u pulled to the left?
First time I have slightly hit the kerb, so the next two times I was overcautious and slowed down too much, and because I was staring in the little mirror on the side one, the steering was not great. So I had 1 minor on control and 2 on steering.
I passed on the 15th aswell!
@@jackhurst7687 you payed £30 for driving course and yet still got 3 minors loooooooool. I got 1 minor and didn’t pay anything ahahahahahahahah
@@Alcg2003 I'm giving you 10 additional minors for being toxic.
I was the learner in this video. One month after this mock I passed my driving test first time today 😊, and with only 2 minors as well! Thanks to my driving instructor and the ultimate driving course. Can now watch these videos while being part of the pass club 😁
Fantastic news, Rahul! And well done!! So glad you took the advice Pin gave you to heart. And remember, you never stop learning. Good luck on the roads out there, and welcome to the pass club!
@@Elfdaughter Thank you very much!! Yes your right! Never stop learning 😊😊
Congrats man, really well done!!
@@vermillionaltair9146 thank you very much!! 😁😁
nice job man :)
Think we need T-shirt’s with ‘I had to intervene’ written on
I HAD to intervene
At 15:30, that Stalling/Hesitation fault ended up being a free promotion of Roseville Contracts! They got some good screen time there :)
bruh how is he entering a roundabout without looking right😂
Dude thinks hes in france 😂
Don’t see why your taking the piss, end of the day he’s a learner he’ll improve with more experience.
@@azzyyx8835 that is 100% true however checking for oncoming vehicles on a roundabout is the very first thing you should do while waiting to enter one.
@@azzyyx8835 you may be right but we are talking a dangerous situation here so no there is no excuse to not look before driving
I don't think you should qoute him on that,I'm sure all of us made stupid mistakes when we learning to drive.None of us was born they Know how to drive and they perfect with signaling and everything.Everyone one of you had to learn from scratch...Sometimes people make mistakes due to the nerves like some of us and that's what Happend with his situation I guess
Poor Rahul, seems like he will be a very good driver when he has sorted out the issues. It was a little early for a mock test, but he's clearly cautious. I remember when I used to get flustered after making small mistakes, that feeling goes away pretty quickly.
cap
yes i get flustered so easily as soon as i make an error! i truly sympathised with Rahul, he definitely got a bit too nervous which is what i'm like in my lessons
Pin's intervention was pretty spot on here. Just shows he is a top class instructor tbh. Only gets involved when saftey comes into the mix, and lets them burn a bit when its safe to do so.
he did alright at first, but that first mistake just killed his confidence, honestly feel like he needs another 5 to 10 lessons just to really iron out the issues.. also pinn has nerves of steel
Heh
@@yeetwchybaban
Definitely although maybe he just caught a bad day. Definitely towards the end of my lessons I felt that sometimes I could just have bad days where routine would leave my head and I would make bad decisions.
However the clutch control is definitely a factor that needs to be improved and ironed out
He wasn’t quite ready for a mock test but hope to see Him back when he’s got a bit more experience!
We love the fact that our fave driving communities are interacting! Hi Francis!
He was awful!!!
@@holls5121 oh hey Holls fancy seeing you here!! 🤩
@@DrivingSchoolTV hopefully he will be on your channel next lol!
@@queenie4714 haha put pin to the test to see if he can drive on the crazy london roads like josh!!
Jesus that gave me so much anxiety watching him just driving into a roundabout without looking right 😳 he needs quite a few more hours and practice before hes ready.
With the bike there who harrumphed accordingly.
It’s not a video if you don’t hear auntie saying “Hoooraaaay!” in the intro.
I can kind of relate to back when I was a learner driver. If I made one serious mistake I would just get nervous and lose all focus and composure. I even gave up after failing twice but after nearly 30 lessons I became a much better driver and passed on third try. Morale of the story practice makes perfect
I had exactly the same experience. One of the driving instructors would give a running commentary on what I had done wrong and I found this made me more mistakes as I was too busy listening to him. Although driving examiners don't mind if you go the wrong way but some driving instructors do as they have a fixed time so get annoyed if you go the wrong way. Some lessons are a test of your geography rather than driving.
I had the same despite my crazy supportive instructor.
i can relate to you i m same sistuation noe 28 comoletes and ready for test again
Everyone can relate, they'd just rather not because they think it makes them look good.
i thought its my story i wrote in comments same exp
Passed my driving test first time round on the 12th July with 0 faults!! Your videos have been a great help Pin and I've honestly been able to learn more than I have with my instructor. Keep it up 💯
I PASSED TODAY WITH 2 MINORS!! Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes and also DGN for all these amazing videos.
Wow that's so good! Congratulations! xx

Just passed my test. The feeling is immense... good luck to everyone going for theirs. It really is much easier than expected :)
I have my test on Monday any advice please. ?

He needs more practice.
His car handling is still poor(eg stalling, preparing to change the gears on time etc) which makes his observations suffer.
More practice and he will be good!
I’d ban him from driving if I could!
@@AlexMartineZ-go9qk as if you were never a learner
Why does the UK make there cars so hard to handle?
@@imsentinelprime9279 wym?
His instructor thinks he’s nearly there? Hmm either that’s not the truth, or he needs to change instructors asap! But with a lot more practice, he’ll definitely pass, some things he did well for only 15 hours of lessons.
Typical, always blame the instructor.
@@DomXM yea in this case absolutely.
There's a reason why they're called the "instructor", they instruct him on to do something.
His "qualified" instructor said he's almost ready with only 15 hours worth of driving?
Clearly the instructor needs to be checked out.
@@ch9na doubtful, learners tend to chat shit a lot of the time,

Hahaha you know what feeling i got right now
I can finally be one of those people who watch your videos even though they have passed their test. Pin your vidoes are a life saver, I passed my test on Tuesday with 4 driver faults. Thank you for your mock test videos, they're so helpful.
What were the minors for?
Not called minors anymore, as if you get enough, you fail, which isn't a minor thing
same pfp
I was on this channel back when I had my learners, now that I have a full license I have a lot less stress watching your videos!
I passed my driving test this morning, thank you so much pin for uploading these videos for us to watch. I don’t think I could’ve passed without watching your videos. And if anyone has their driving test coming up soon good luck.
congratulations, any tips?
I’m glad to say I passed my test today with 5 minors, thanks to Pin and the ultimate driving course! Passed in my own car and think I had about bang on 20hrs with AA
I don’t know how but I’ve been addicted to watching these driving test videos and I wasn’t even thinking of starting driving any time soon. Maybe this is a sign to start the ultimate driving course.
Well?
Is it me or did he not look right at the major roundabouts?? 🤔
Pin did point that out lol
@@Noor-bd2gh lol I was in a world of my own watching 👀 but noticed that. When people stall my heart goes out to them cos I do stall myself an know how frustrating it is 😞
@@elllzzzzzz8752 it’s okay to stall, just remember to remain calm and restart the engine once doing so, you’ll be good!
@@elllzzzzzz8752 hey! Stalling is totally okay, even on your exam, as long as you can get the car up and running quickly enough. It’s not bad at all, just stay calm, start the engine and check if you’re in first gear
I'm a driving instructor in Western Australia, the standards between here and the UK couldn't be further apart! So interesting, I'm originally from Leeds and when I became an instructor here i had to totally change what I was used to. Thank you very much for sharing your work with us, cheers!!
I want to say thankyou for making these videos Pin, I have been watching your videos throughout my driving journey and I passed first time with 3 minors last week. I would highly recommend people watch these mock tests, so helpful! 😊
can officially say that im now one of the people who have passed their practical, your videos have really helped me! good luck to future drivers, calm vibes whilst taking the practical really makes every less serious and pressured
I’ve been binge watching all your vids lately and just passed with no minors!!!! Thank you so much
Been watching these mock tests over the last week leading up to my test today and am pleased to say I passed with 7 minors thank you for these videos as they really helped me
I passed my Driving Test last month. I watched many of you videos and they really helped. Thanks a lot for the videos. Highly Recommended for all aspirants.
I wish him all the best, he'll get there eventually!
Some instructors are calm, I love Pin's style at least he don't make drivers panic by raising his voice when they do nonsense.
Ooh how sweet you believe that, if it wasn't for the live cameras, there wouldn't be any witnesses to see the wrath of a real pissed off driving instructor 🤣😂.

Back to the drawing board
To be fair even experienced drivers struggle with those roundabouts.
The camera footage quality is amazing. I watch these video for the beauty of the world as well as your insight into the mock test.
I noticed it to. Road cams aren’t that great normally because they are travelling at high speeds. Obviously put a lot of money into a quality camera!
@@boxingboxingboxing99 I’m pretty sure it’s a regular camera attached to the dash because Pin takes it out sometimes when he’s outside of the car filming :) x
@@cherryhappily Ahhh that explains it. Still must be really high quality as normal cameras can struggle to record when travelling at high speeds. 😃

Such a difference between “Cancel your signal, please!” and the “Are we going to cancel that signal or what?!” in a sarcastic tone that I used to hear from my instructor.
Fortunately, I passed first try and now I’m free from his bickering. :)

Thanks for sharing the video, you're doing great, let's go !!
I am from the Netherlands but I am still watching these video's! Little bit difficult for me because you ride on the other side but I am trying to adapt😂
I am a Latin American boy. I failed my test today in Pinner-London with 1 serious fault (steering control) and 4 minor faults, and I feel sad. I discovered this channel recently, and I will continue to watch all the videos. I hope to do better next time.
So glad I don’t live in an area like this, looks so much harder to pass

Mate what? All this space and almost no traffic in all his videos. Where I live the car mirrors almost touch the parked up vehicles on both sides on every street at every moment. Have to park on a hill with the bare minimum of space etc. This looks like child's play.

The best way to learn is from your mistakes. But watching others’ mistakes and learning from that is better I’d say. Good vids mate. 👍🏻
I would have loved something like this when I was learning
I'll never get tired of saying I am a better driver because of your videos. Still, room for improvement & I know this is the place for it.
Thankful for your videos I’ve watched since I started to learn. Passed the other day with 0 minors :)
I just passed today, with 2 driving faults. These videos helped me and will continue to do so, thanks very much.
I passed last February just before COVID . I passed first time with 4 minors, I watched pins videos every week , it really helped.
I love what you call a 'steep hill' in the Midlands! You need to come to West Yorkshire/pennines, we've got HILLS!! 😂 love these videos.
I passed my driving test in the Netherlands last Monday. I still watch videos like this even though I have my driver's license.
Gefeliciteerd.
Hoooraaay! Feels surreal to be watching pin on a sunday after ive finally passed!
I've never seen a 3-lane roundabout before, I've always been taught that the inner lane is for turning right, while the outside lane is for straight or left.
Just passed my test today. Your videos helped me a lot in preparation. ❤
I passed my driving test yesterday with 1 minor! Thanks to the help of your videos
Bringing back memories of changing wrong gears. He did good, I feel he was nervous as well.
Love your vids but a quick suggestion; would it be possible for you to time stamp every driving fault and positive manuevers/observations
That's a great idea!

Hi pin, I just now enrolled with your ultimate driving course. I failed 1st time on 15th Jul with 1 serious faults, and 7 driving faults. Hope this course will improve my observation:-/
He really didn’t look right when entering the roundabout 😂😂
My man thinks he’s in india

Think lot of people do that mistake. The whitest British guys too. Don’t have to be stupidly racist!
When he selected gear 5 , u were actually calm and helped, man my instructir that i had coz i passed all of my tests thanks to u , he was gonna shout so much i swear like “ what are tou doing “ why are u doing this” what is in ur mind” ect
Im from Bulgaria so shouting is normal ,
Thanks again
Same thing in Montenegro, although shouting is kinda pressing it can really be helpful in some situations to never EVER make some mistakes again
Thanks for making this
I don’t know how Pin does this job… my nerves would be in tatters!!! 😱
He wasn’t to bad at driving but I cannot understand how he didn’t look going into roundabout???? Must have a death wish!
I don't know how instructors do it.
When I was learning I made all sorts of dumb, sometimes horrifying, mistakes and my instructor was so chill. I never saw him truly worried or aghast at anything, he reacted to bad situations very decisively and calmly.
Drove perfectly when practicing with my dad between lessons and it was like basic military training, with constant shouting and everything you did was wrong. And parents etc. all learned to drive a billion years ago when things were different - the instructor has more current knowledge and is actually trained to "instruct".
I' m taking for now a driving school here in japan , this is gonna be more interesting for me and lots of techniques . 😊I'm still watching you're vedios☺️
I learn more from these videos than my
Instructor. She’s never told me to check the mirrors when slowing down/braking.
That's quite concerning 😬
They must have told you when you change speed to check mirrors? Maybe they just put it in a different way!
You need to get a new instructor
Always check your centre mirror and the mirror you’re planning to turn into when slowing down
Is it me or are people driving like NASCAR around the roundabouts?
Yes because crawling causes accidents
Learning techniques from your video.I got my test next week wish me luck🤗
Wow! Im amazed that just a month after this he passed his test. I wonder how many hours were done In that month. Well done for passing Raul.
Nice to watch these videos when I feel like a bad driver.
its feels so good seeing others making mistakes..
When I took my restrictive test in January, everything I could’ve possibly failed at... i failed...I’m a good driver but i let my nerves take control of me. I’m not sure how many i got wrong exactly but it was bad :( i was too scared to drive again because of it. I just started driving again today! 6 months later lol
hows my bro gonna go onto a roundabout without checking his right 🤣 bless him!
A good example of panicking after that roundabout where 8 serious faults came up ,he started panicking after and making bad mistakes as being stressed out to do something wrong and lost his concentration on the road ! Body shaking , sweat coming , hands wet , heart rushing ))))) and that's where common faults are coming up due to stress !
My first test was 1 minor fault and 1 serious fault when minor fault was stalling and serious where one pedestrian suddenly stepped on the road from pavement to cross the road and he was close to our car so it caused me to fail ! And that panic what happened that time it follows to rest of the driving test
So advice I do know how hard it is but try not to panic in any situations , if you do stress you always can ask to pull 9ver as it isn't a fault to ask for and take a breath that will help
Even when I have my license I haven't drove for 8 years cuz my car was totaled cuz of a family member and I'm learning again . I have bad anxiety but I face my fear and learn to best I can
All these learners make me feel so much better about my driving.. though I'm learning manual so I understand my slight advantage.
You mean automatic ?
Sir you have the patience of a saint!!
He seems to just follow the cars in front like sheep when he's at roundabouts . Thinking it's safe just because they are moving
As a Canadian driver, who got their license, driving in that car looks HARD
I have no idea how Pin stays so calm :D
He needs more practice, good luck to him, don't give up!
These are alot more fun to watch when you've already passed your test. P.s don't over think it , it's alot easier than what you think!
Thank you for saying that. Im overthinking!
ngl I've only been driving for about 2 months the first without a license lol, but before that 2 years on the simulator really helps my confidence with your interaction between the gears, pedals, and steering wheel. The 2 months on the road just increase your confidence level.
this ep has a lot of decent cars, first the badass mustang than the EP3 Civic. Wonderful

Nerves ruined everything for me when I was learning
why does your gearstick look so easy to use....the one in my instructors car has a stiff gear 1 on his gear stick. Every time you try to get it into gear one you need to push it harder than normal but all the other gears are fine.
The amount of times I’ve slipped into 1st instead of 3rd and 5th instead of 3rd
