The answer is no. There is no energy drink included in this. It says on the product that it has removed all of the tauring and caffeine and replaced it with a wonderful beer beverage. Now that's not the exact quote from the can, but that's essentially what they say. I also note that the front does not say Monster energy drink Beast Unleashed. I'm not even sure if an energy drink brand is going to do an energy drink blended with alcohol ever again, think Four Loco and when you could order a Red Bull vodka at a bar. Remember all the problems these caused where people could not tell how drunk they were because of the energy content? Yeah cuz of that.
It's been forever since I had a original monster non alcoholic version, I doubt that the malt version is available in Sweden. I mainly go for the non light ones and will happily finish a 0.5 liter can by myself. As for the various light flavours the only one that I like is the gold, the rest for some lacks any noticeable flavour.
I can’t vouch for the alcohol content, but this literally tastes like the green monster. 0 sugar??? I can’t imagine drinking a bunch of these though. And I don’t get the Stevia taste he talks about.
I'm drinking one now. Its very good. If you drink monster you'll definitely wanna drink this. Lol this something I will be taking to work with me

It definitely gives a good buzz. If you ain't hardcore liquor consumer, this drink will get you hammered after one can.
You can only get the fourth flavor when you buy the variety pack. Which is sad because I love the Scary Berries flavor more than the other ones.
