Now that you beat the 5th boss, you can fight the TRUE ending boss. You need to collect all the items in the rooms after you beat EVERY boss then you will be able to face the true ending boss. If you thought Regina was tough....
Hey there ! Happy to see you on Nightmare finally ahah, don't forget you can hold attack with buster sword to fire a larger and more powerful beam ! =)
You passed up Weapon Master after the third boss. It's one of the best Nightmare totems in the game cause it gives you ALL your swap buffs every time you swap. If you get that and Weapon Hilt you can constantly swap into the same weapon and get all the buffs at once.
48:35 I'm pretty sure the first time you got an eroded weapon it said that the bonus effects apply to all of your weapons. The zombie boss and Regina each have attacks where they have a number of shield icons around them and you need to parry those attacks that many times to actually stun them.
Beelz, the whip's effect means that it has a 25% chance to shock enemies when you crit and only a 5% chance when it's not a crit. It's worded a bit weirdly, but I'm pretty sure it would show the 25% crit chance in the stats menu, if that really was what you thought it was.
I never been very good at parrying but I admire the art of parrying, is that odd to think that way? Basically I hate to need to do it but I like seeing ppl pull it off cause its satisfying even when just watching it happen. If I had to guess though, this game seems to have a... I want to say forgiving parry timing when normal enemies and challenging when against bosses. That just observation though, would need to experience it, to understand.
20:26: When you were mentioning weapons that have both effects I'm pretty sure the gun did have an erosion perk on it in addition to the pawn ability it has. So it is possible but it's definitely not common. And also for the sake of being slighting irritating you missed a secret room in the second area in the last video where the wall was open on the right and you did not see it. In addition, the statues also have information under there and just genuine visual clues so show what they do. For example, there was the number 75 under the heart statue in 16:07 that probably tells you the amount of life take or the % you will have remaining. The purple heart statue in the first video gave max life and the other statue in that same video that you didnt pick up had 3 question marks below it.
A lot of the stuff you think can't be parried can be parried. You just need to work on your timing. I'd go so far as to say 90% of the attacks in this game can be parried. The only ones that can't are the ones that intuitively seem like they can't be (poison gas from the Wolf or giant energy balls from Sol). Even then, some of attacks that seem impariable can be parried, like the giant swords from the Gladiator boss. In fact, pretty much everything on Regina but the grab can be parried. If you learn to parry properly and often, this game becomes a cakewalk.

36:06 thank you later. It's even worse for me cause I'm watching this in a dark room trying to fall asleep...

Honestly this is a good game. I will watch more of this.

You were parrying Regina, she just needs to be parried 3 times for her to go down.
The number of shields you see indicates how many you need to stun them.
The Spirit of shield skull is with this shield
Beelz, did you really think the FINAL BOSS will be nice? THINK BEELZ THINK
So like Skul a shield run with slime is a great way to learn attack patterns. Unlike Skul archer does some serious damage.

I think the scales set you to that percentage of HP, because they definitely didn't give him money.
This game has a good mix of systems from a bunch of other action rougelikes. Hope it comes to console ☺️. Keep up the good work Beelz!
