    Big portion of the blame for men not being men today is down to the mothers, in particular singe mothers who emasculate their sons.
    Instead of teaching boys at puberty how to be independent responsible men, how to make money and how to protect women from harm - the priority and primary focus for some is teaching their boys, who they still treat as little children even at puberty, how to mop the floor and cook spaghetti and compete with their sisters in house chores.
    Then you wonder why such a boy will grow up and be wanting to split bills with his wife. When did he ever learn to be a man?
    That's what you get when you leave the training of your boys to your wife. They (perhaps some) will just make a woman out of them.
    I will write this 100 times and you will disagree 1000 times yet I will continue to say it.
    The parenting for boys should be distinct from that of girls! Let them 'support' their sisters or even fill in their role where necessary but primarily please teach them to be men.
    Stop emasculating your male children.

      Single mother shouldn’t be responsible for that in the first if the man of the house acted like a master in the first place lol people here putting the single mothers the blame on but there’s a saying I heard before from my mom and all my life I relied on that until I faced myself which is a boy is for his father and as a girl is for her mother but today many women are raising their boys and of course it is tough and needs courage but if the man is not willing to do his job then would she leave her son for strangers to teach manhood🤔

      They know the issues, they like to WHINE & blame everything on feminism, or how modern govs took authority from them lol which shows their weak iman. They seem to forget that Allah swt gave them authority over women, but just like Jihad, they gave it up!!!
      Agreed, old generation moms didn't raise them to be caretakers of women (they spoil the boys while sending the girl outside to fend for herself since childhood so they don't use the excuse that "women like to be outside""!!)
      On the other hand, Western men are raised since childhood to respect women, to be polite to the ladies, to not force women & be patient with them ... Ours are so rough & rude, literally like animals (Muslim by name only)!

    • @bella_m23
      @bella_m23 Рік тому

      Westerners train their boys since childhood, by giving them little chores that are still manly (cutting the grass, helping dad mowing lawns, teaching them how to fish, take them to hike, swim sports etc. then as teenagers get them little jobs to teach them responsibility at such a young age. Many end up moving out by the time they enter college.
      On the other hand, in the Arab world, the teenage boys sleep until the afternoon while his sister goes to buy, clean, & study)!

      Boys are affected in a big way if the father is not there with them, mothers cant bring up boys or girls, the upbringing is all based around the father

    • @mishaalkisan1688
      @mishaalkisan1688 Рік тому

      I partially agree.
      I say partially because some single mothers aren't single by choice, I don't agree that they're a "big portion" either, but it is a factor to take into consideration. Another factor is simply because of the lack thereof of strong muslim men to serve as role models (we could argue how that even happened but that doesn't change the fact that it's a strong factor).
      And boys/men should know how to do household chores, even the Prophet SAW did household chores despite his status.
      Anyway, yes boys need a male role model in their life and that doesn't necessarily have to be their father - it can be another adult male family member or a trusted member of the community.
      That being said, mothers are still vital to a boy's development, they're not inherently an obstacle of masculinity.

    I agree, this is why even after being a fresh graduate Doctor, I'm afraid i can not marry even if i wanted to as doctors pay is very low compared to other professions in Bangladesh & duration of post graduation training is hellish long(7-10yrs). How am I supposed to pay mahr, do nikah & provide for the family all at once. Because of jahili societal standards it, Zina seems more affordable & less troublesome option for many youth. Despite being Alhamdullilah a virgin, devout Muslim & hard-worker, such situation is very testing for me.

    He has no power not only on the street, but he also has no power at home, because, most likely, his wife does not listen to him and only demands. men are weak now, but they must be strong, and to achieve this, they need to at least have power at home, and for this they need not to be afraid of their wife.

    Salam Mr Gabriel Romani, what about a man with mental issues or disorder and he doesn't feel he is mentally equipped to handle being the husband and caregiver, since his own mental health issues have also put a lot of stress on himself and his siblings and parents already. Should such man be told that he should get married (yes, assuming being financially independent, employed, but have hard time dealing with personal related issues outside work)? Wouldn't it be problematic for the household, for the kids growing having a father with mental issues? How to provide safe space / environment in the event the husband is having mental breakdown? Wouldn't it be traumatizing for the wife to witness the husband experiencing episode? I'm hoping you can educate us comprehensively, since I notice not many ulamas and ustazs ever touched on this particular niche issue aside from the usual issues of hesitation of getting married. I really hope you can help shed light on this, please sir. Thank you

      Salaam brother. Your question is quite understandable. I do feel however, men who do face a mental health challenge, should seek help and treatment to live a fruitful life and make a happy marriage. We ask Allah to make the journey easy and place baraqah in it. It is definitely possible, with the help of Allah. Tawakkul is key.
      Some of us are stricken with a mental illness because of our family history, and it is unfortunately not the person's fault. If a woman is understanding of her husband's situation, and vice versa, the challenges and even in the case if someone has a disability, there are ways to get through them - if both parties are willing to support each other through the hard and good times. We may feel that we are tested in some ways and blessed in others.
      Where there is a will, there is a way. May Allah make this journey of life easier for us and help us in all our affairs. Ameen.
