- I picked up a lot of new Dior! Including six new eyeshadow palettes, foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick. Today I'm going to play with all the new eyeshadow palettes to show you comparisons with Tom Ford and Chanel palettes and I will swatch each one!! #diorbeauty

I so appreciate your comparing Jungle with Chanel Lumiere et Opulence. I thought it looked similar when I saw your Jungle tutorial- it’s one of my favs so I guess I don’t need Jungle. There’s plenty more that look incredible😘
Yes... so far they are all beautiful quality.
I also have Chanel Lumiere et Opulence and been enjoing it, but when I was looking at the Jungle in the CD corner I never thought of my Chanel...
Other than a peach shade the other 4 colors are quite similar.
Lara Martin pushed me in your direction and thanks to your comparisons I realised why I liked the look of Soft Cashmere so much - it's practically a dupe for Nude Dip. Save me £45 (which I will no doubt spend on one of the others). Thanks!

I could be wrong but the soft cashmere seems easily duped with the new Natasha denona glam palette.

I agree...i think the Steeleto is similar and the Double Indemnity is probably close...I actually don't have that one! it's on my list.
The Poncho quint is very similar to Nude Dip. I think the first time I heard the expression FOMO is when Nude Dip was launched. I never got into Dior shadows because they simply didn’t stay put, plus the colours just didn’t layer well. It appears this is no longer the case. How long do the shadows wear?
I can tell you they last forever...and actually I thought the eye shadow looked better after a few hours.
Allfeisty That’s impressive! The only eyeshadows I have tried thus far about which I can say the same are Pat McGrath’s. I look forward to seeing the last two quints on you, after which I will make my selection. Thanks for the prompt reply.
I wonder if Nude Dip might be a bit cooler than Poncho? Poncho almost seems more neutral....it’s one I’m really interested in.👍🏻
If you use them wet or build the color ot may show better.
I bought soft cashmere but am concerned if this is good for mature eyes. Sharon Baugh
I think it will work very well. If you're concerned about pigment...start with a light hand and/or a very soft fluffy brush.

If you're looking at Dior... the Denim is beautiful as is the Tutu, and the Plum tulle

Allfeisty not yet- I think I decided that I want Nude Dress.. I wish I could see these in person but I think Nude dress is the vibe I’m going for - I ordered Cashmere last night but when you said it was like Nude Dip in TF I thought uh oh- for me, and I’m probably the only person who feels this way, I didn’t like it on me- maybe it was the formula? Too shiny and too washed out (for me). I love these quints because although they have shimmer they are not shiny on the eye- if you know what I mean..?

Allfeisty I saw someone’s video on it today- forget who- but it seemed to have that sophisticated look but with an extra something something in the glimmer that it gave- something about the combination of tones-
I’m a watercolor artist and I get excited when I see nuances in simplistic shades that give them that extra spark.

I wonder why DIOR took out the pretty designs, I’m not drawn to them like I was.
Diane...some of the quints still have the designs...In fact, i think the holiday collection will have the designs.
Allfeisty those I’d like to see. I collect those fancy designs.
I swatched all 12 in our local cosmetics store and found the formula unusually soft for Dior, which probably precludes any fancy embossing. They still look really attractive though.
