- With Project Range Rover in full swing , the trailer could not have come at a worse time.
with the time I had left in the shed ticking away, I had to get a wriggle on. The plan was to be strategic and get all the big tick items painted ( i.e. body of the car and trailer). if I ran out of time in the shed, i could at least fit the panels on the back of the ute and take them to a paint shop to be painted.
So with loose ideas in mind and very little time to spend on the trailer, decision was made to put some long hours into the trailer and get the fabrication and painting done ASAP .
It was here that i realised i had taken on a monstrous, expensive and time consuming job completing both a car and a trailer at the same time. - "With a little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless - failure may turn into a glorious success.”. - Elbert Hubbard.

Thats brilliant, top effort. Hey how do you find the no 5 handle with the tire on the back? are you having to counter the weight some how to manage the right ball weight? you planning to put water tanks under it or somehow load up the front end ?
Sorry for the delay Ben!
I’m yet to test it out! However with the toolbox at the front and a 250amp battery in the front of the tub it should counteract the tire on the back nicely!👌🏾.
More to come on the trailer down the track!
Hey man that looks sick who in Darwin did your sand blasting I’ve got my no. 5 chassis to do as well
Thanks mate - Got the sandblasting and priming done at Norblast!
@@endakhudson Thanks man if you don’t mind me asking what did it cost you ball park is fine, and was that for both the body and the chassis axle etc
Jesse Nudl I got a whole heap of other things done mate, but I’d say for the trailer expect to pay anywhere between & 600 - 1k depending on how rusty it is
@@endakhudson lucky the body on mine is Ally so it’s just the chassis and the axle just need to hit the flaky stuff with a wire wheel I guess lol
