For awhile I was following a bunch of MUAs, don't ask me why. Now you are the only one I watch. You give consistently good advice and suggestions. I am 76 and I'm practically a recluse. I do want to look nice though. So many women my age just give up or they overdo it. I'm Italian and I'm fortunate to have clear skin with small pores and not wrinkled. At my age less really is more. I like a good tinted moisturizer with some concealer for the sun spots and just a dab of blush on the cheekbones. The best primer is Hydrablur by Dermalogica which I mainly use on my nose. I don't use powder anymore because I don't seem to need it and it just balls up. My always skimpy eyebrows are almost gone, but the fat Rimmel brow pencil draws a natural looking brow. I use a thin line of Milani green pencil for eyeliner. I know it sounds weird, but it makes my hazel eyes pop. A little black mascara and that's it. I love that lipstick hack you shared and I can't wait to try it. I went to Ulta one day for a hair cut and one of the associates was helping me find a product. Robert here to save the day, and our faces...and thank you for staunchly leading the way in defense of those of us bearing a facial scar since childhood, and refusing to fix it. I'd miss it--like losing a part of myself.
A lot of Asians put lashes underneath the natural lash because having smaller lids where the crease meets with the inner corner of the eye or mono lids etc. can make the lash strip transfer glue to the upper lid and pull off the lashes and makeup throughout the day, especially with oily lids. The glue then spreads and sticks to the rest of the eyelid, making it sticky and hard to blink. I personally have done both and prefer putting them under the eyelash, not because its more natural, but because of comforts sake. What they do NOT show you, is how to remove them and be gentle with your lashes, and to make sure to buy lash glue remover and a good cleansing balms like "Farmacy Natural Cleansing Balm".
You inspired me to try makeup for the first time recently. I tried to use blue eyeshadow and it looked like someone had punched me in both of my eyes! It was so fun though!

I’ve done the quick liner thing since I was a teenager and agree you need to add in the second line coming from your water line to make it look nicer close up. Always have used my fingers to ‘clean’ the edges too. I find it’s more symmetrical that way than going back and forth with a brush

That eyeliner hack is quite good. I do it sometimes without the finger drag and it's got such a nice low key vibe. Tbh I do it BC I'm lazy AF but no-one can tell or needs to know,.
I just bought a green face primer recently not only because I struggle with acne and green cancels out red, but because I have olive skin and can never find a good foundation suitable for my pale complexion also. Olive skin is NOT always deep!
I just bought that inglot product! I saw all of my makeup artist buddies using it and I finally caved. It’s so insanely useful. I use it to make liner with my eyeshadows and to do really sharp brows.
Great video! Could you do a video showing how you use the Inglot duraline and demonstrate how you mix it into different products so we could see proper ratios of Inglot to the products and the different ways to use it? It would be so helpful, and I always love and trust your advice.
Agreed. I knew what style & inspiration the "No Rules" video was referencing. (I was hoping she was going to go off-script.) Creativity is not interested in the rules, but it relies on some theory & style guides. ✨ Thank you for sharing! ✨
What they don't show us is how it looks in real life, or six hours later, after you're walked the dog, or whatever. Robert, I love your channel! Thank you!
The minute you said that the first clip had been manipulated, I just burst out laughing because it’s so badly done 😂. Regarding eyeliner, yes you’re making sense. I was doing this look when I was a teenager and had a Mohican, it was so easy then. Now I’m 55 and figuring out how to do makeup with different skin textures is a little bit of a challenge. ❤
I want to see a "Makeup has no rules" video where we see the person cake on makeup, but other than clearly having makeup on, they look the same. Or like, as similar to they did prior to the make up vs. cut brows and creases and slightly altered skin tone. If that makes sense. Just really screw with the idea of makeup by adding tons of makeup to a gross sum of "well your skin looks cakey/dusty now but otherwise there's no change"
On the "proving makeup has no rules" video, my first thought was "but it does have a theory" and my second thought was she used a horrific amount of product! Also yes, makeup look like makeup and that's okay! Thanks Robert!
I use duraline in my brow pomade to make it look more natural and less blocky because I have sparse brows and if I used pencil it takes like 5 years and looks more flat cause it’s mostly gaps, whereas what I use seems to highlight the actual hairs and make it look like I actually have brows

That eyeliner hack is quite good. I do it sometimes without the finger drag and it's got such a nice low key vibe. Tbh I do it BC I'm lazy AF but no-one can tell or needs to know,.
Finally Robert’s hit 1 million subscribers! 🎉🎉
Sir, your eye makeup is FABULOUS I LOVE IT
I’ve got Inglot’s setting spray. No alcohol and it’s not a strong scent. It’s pretty good.
Your eye makeup look is 🔥 ❤
Love this eye look😍
Looking flawless king 💜🤍🖤
Thank you so much!!! 🖤🖤🖤
Omg you’re welcome!! So happy that you saw this! You made my day for responding🥹🤍
i think Juno Birch would disagree about the blue foundation 😅
I just bought a green face primer recently not only because I struggle with acne and green cancels out red, but because I have olive skin and can never find a good foundation suitable for my pale complexion also. Olive skin is NOT always deep!
The girl at 10 min is SO CUTE 🥰 . Love her vibe.
She is!!!
These are my favourite videos Robert. Love!!!
I like your hair here! Never been this early! 🖤
Thank you! And thank you for being early!!!
I just bought that inglot product! I saw all of my makeup artist buddies using it and I finally caved. It’s so insanely useful. I use it to make liner with my eyeshadows and to do really sharp brows.
“Tag me in weird things” “in MAKEUP weird things” 🤭
😂👍
Great video! Could you do a video showing how you use the Inglot duraline and demonstrate how you mix it into different products so we could see proper ratios of Inglot to the products and the different ways to use it? It would be so helpful, and I always love and trust your advice.
Agreed. I knew what style & inspiration the "No Rules" video was referencing.
(I was hoping she was going to go off-script.)
Creativity is not interested in the rules, but it relies on some theory & style guides.
✨ Thank you for sharing! ✨
🖤🖤🖤 absolutely!
Aahh, I hate it when people say something along the lines of "makeup has no rules", because YES IT DOES! Thank you for saying that too 😂
What they don't show us is how it looks in real life, or six hours later, after you're walked the dog, or whatever.
Whenever I watch your videos, I find myself just staring at your eyes, wishing I could do my make up like that ❤
Loving your hair hun 😍
Love wattching you react to TikTok hacks (or other hacks)! Funny and informative.
Thank yooooou!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I Love your vídeos sooooo much. Thank you Robert, your sense of humour is the best. 💜💜💜
Thank you!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Love this video, I like when you do these ❤. I had to add, your eye shadow looks soooo pretty!! ❤❤
Loving your work ❤
Yup you made sense withe the eyeliner..big difference between smokey and old liner
I love your Disney vídeos but your reaction vídeos are the best. Thank you for your hard work. 💜
I appreciate you thank you!
On the "proving makeup has no rules" video, my first thought was "but it does have a theory" and my second thought was she used a horrific amount of product!
Also yes, makeup look like makeup and that's okay! Thanks Robert!
I'm so glad I have naturally long eyelashes. I just need a good mascara & I'm good! Maybe some primer if I wanna make em pop a little more!
I use duraline in my brow pomade to make it look more natural and less blocky because I have sparse brows and if I used pencil it takes like 5 years and looks more flat cause it’s mostly gaps, whereas what I use seems to highlight the actual hairs and make it look like I actually have brows
