13:33 Utah has a lot of these weird drive on the left side "diverging diamond" interchanges. It can be really confusing if you haven't encountered them before. Wrong way drivers are fairly common. They are putting them diversion diamonds in Florida now and they wonder why when people get on the interstate they are in the wrong lane going the wrong direction another man from out of town was killed here last week going the wrong way on the interstate
I live in Orlando, FL and they are building one in a very congested area right in the tourist district. They made a temporary setup with barrels and cones while it's under construction. #19 It’s not the city’s fault that people don’t know right of way. It’s not the city’s fault that people can’t comprehend looking both ways to assure safe crossings or turns. It’s not the city’s fault that people can’t put their phones down while driving. It’s not the city’s fault that people DON’T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE SAFELY AND RESPONSIBLY.
It is the cities fault because the speed limit on that road is too high. People look both ways, either dont see a car coming or its very far away, but since they are flying, the cars catch up to them way faster than expected. Lowering the speed limit in that area, or putting up a traffic light, would alleviate this more.
@ Changing speed limits means nothing to speeders. Just more excuses for poor drivers that can’t take their behind the wheel responsibilities seriously.

28. Ma'am even if he cut you off, you escalated it with assault and possible property damage.
What damage did the truck do to you? your feelings?
That truck was cut off by a different white truck. She was going too fast and swerving around traffic. That white truck clipped her when she tried to veer around. No one to blame but herself.
Every year, as someone who lives in Utah, I love watching people forget how to drive in the snow. I also love seeing people with Cali plates struggle too
Big 3! Do it for Dale. Gimme a taco.
living in Utah and seeing some idiotic driving on a few of the same roads in this video is gold to me
I live in Utah. Daily you get so much dash cam stuff
Who needs action movies when Utah drivers provide all the thrills and spills? Buckle up!
#34 Uhhh... what did he even do beside a break check for you literally blinding every motorist on the road?
@KomBackHordz
Is that a coffee break or lunch break check?
@@ducewags What do you think?
@@Vinterfrid Coffee break check.
@@ducewagsmaybe it’s a brake check.
i love when they feature my state, recognize so many roads
I just sent this video to Utah Highway Patrol team to watch haha
28 - day-um...she is fierce! Love it!!
Nah that’s ghetto
She’s an idiot! She was speeding and swerving around causing the second white truck to clip her when the first white truck pulled out. No one to blame but herself.
#20 The cammer was about to run a stop sign until the Subaru came along. Then the white Jeep became the idiot for attempting to block the Subaru's pass in a legal passing zone.
It's wild watching once of these where you're familiar with the roads! Like literally clips 2 blocks away from my place.
I think Utah drivers are typically pretty confident and decently skilled (obviously with exceptions), but speed limits here are so fast compared to other places I've lived that small accidents lead to major results.
I live in Utah and this accurate to what the roads are actually like.
7:47 If ever an intersection needed a roundabout, this is it.
I’m a tow truck driver in Salt Lake City, mainly in the south end of the valley, and I pick up multiple accidents a day. Even multiple fatalities every year. I’ve been doing it 17 years and it’s only getting worse.
Oh no! Have you got any of the accidents?
@ none that I have recognized, but hopefully one day! 🤞🏻
Native Utahan here; I had never seen a proper lane merge from 16 to age 22. I finally saw how it was supposed to work in Boston
35. This happens alot in California after months of not having any rain. People decide "oh hey its raining, gotta go 95 because everyone else is going slow. wow rain so cool, its making my animalistic instincts kick in." Only for me to drive by their spun-out wreck that crashed into the median a few minutes later. People really really underestimate weather road conditions.
Happens in Canada with snow. lol Every year, the tow trucks are swamped on the first snowfall of the season.
I live in Utah and whenever my Grandma, that lives out of state, visits my family she always tells me how crazy the drivers are here in Utah.
#20 that was 100% jeeps fault. Slowing down and brake checking then not letting him pass in a passing zone
Ive lived in Utah for 3 years. The number of red light runners here is INSANE
37. That was some real driving right there: Nice save
16:38 it's not a careless trucker he had no room he swung as far as he could. Pretty sure he was watching you and wasn't going to hit you if you stood still.
8 was crazy!
I've been to Utahfornia, This video shows exactly how they drive. It's a scary place.
Yeah, technically it’s not the city’s fault. However, the city probably should have some consideration and put a traffic light there
People making excuses to allow government to hold their hands like they’re children while simultaneously complaining about government overstepping and impeding their lives. Pick one, because you can’t have both.
Take responsibility for your own actions.
With that mentality abolish all stop signs, lights, and warnings
13:30 I think that's the most action this guy's seen in his whole life! 😂
50 years ago when my first long trip and had a police officer trying to slow down traffic and I had never seen that before and the second time I passed him he made it clear to me what he was doing that I need to get behind him, yes sir thank you!!
I haven't seen any crashes, but been in one (hit from behind) i had a crappy dash cam I didn't even know how to use (did not record my accident)
My rear end accident was why I got a new cam, i appreciate these videos showing the cam model so I can see how well the visual is day vs night.
Having lived in the L.A. area for nearly 30 years, but moving to the SLC area 4 years ago, I can tell you, UTAH drivers are the worst! They run all the lights, they change lanes without looking (a turn signal does not mean you can go if it is not clear!), and they all close their eyes and say, "Jesus, take the wheel!"
we'd love for you to move back
@@michaeld1770cope
Utah is so pretty. I bet all the drivers were distracted looking at the mountains.
Never underestimate the ability of Utah drivers to pull out in front of you.
#10 Worst kind of drivers. The entitlement is off the charts. MAH LANE syndrome.
😂 LITERALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a Utahn West Valley is probably the jackpot of all crashes
53. Listening to the Wheel of Time on Audio! SWEET!
15:32 this one is right by my middle school! You can see it in the far right, behind the Maverick!
These vids are the reason I just bought a dash cam today... It is getting much more scary out there.
I know a LEO in the Salt Lake area and he was telling me how he gives out a few tickets a day to folks going WELL over 100 mph on the freeway.
8:25 why are the people on the left hand side literally rolling out of their truck?
#48 17:45 "Hrm....everyone ahead of me seems to be braking and getting out of this one lane. Empty lane! I guess I'll take it and pass all these slowpokes." These are the geniuses on our roads.
Nobody got out of that lane until he got in it, he couldn’t have known
@@GoldKnightColt He could certainly see the brake lights on literally EVERY SINGLE car ahead of him and yet he nearly gets in a wreck. Certainly sounded like his engine was revving....I wonder if he was accelerating while every other driver on the road was braking? Maybe. Maybe not.
3:32 you can see the SUV massively hydroplaning almost the entire time. Bro did pretty well considering its real hard to keep control.
#30: Should have dropped some of that $2k on a windshield.
Right. Definitely should have priotized that over a new alternator or battery.
@@tz28exile Buying both an alternator and a battery would not cost 2k. Isn't it illegal where you live to have a cracked windshield? Sure is where I live.
@@xo2quilt I have no idea. Certainly shouldn't be if it's not hindering visibility. Sounds like a revenue generator to me. And I know a battery and alternator would cost less than 2K. I'm just using an example. There were probably several vital components she needed to replace.
@@tz28exile Actually, an intact windshield is important to the structural stability of a vehicle in a rollover accident. I believe there is a show where a UK accident reconstruction expert explained it. Helps keep the roof from crushing in on the first hit. I know they break during that initial roll, but it absorbs much of the energy of the hit and subsequent rolls usually have less energy. It's a niche skill that is outside my education, but I do like learning a bit from experts here on YT.
40.
"WHATS YOUR PROBLEM?"
"I GOTTA SHIT SO BAD...but, now i just need to use the car-wash..."
See you guys on the roads Mon, Wed, and Fri. The van you love most, Red Mountain driver.
0:31 who else thinks of the movie. The hangover every time you hear this song 😂 what a great movie. Who was in high school when that movie dropped I remember renting it at what was it called Hollywood movies. What a time to be Alive different times back then
Twas a good song I was listing to
8:26 Dude was so discombobulated he got out of the truck while it was still going
I lived in Bountiful for 18 years and that Woods Cross exit seems to be point of confusion for many new drivers to the area. Lots of wrong way drivers there.
Ah Utah.. the place where using your blinkers is considered giving vital information to the enemy XD
#39 Racing too the HOA meeting..
When dull lives collide
as a truck driver in utah, i dont plan on truck driving much longer cause i get to deal with all of these close call situations on a daily basis.
@9:40 jeep is at fault no doubt about it!! he is mad that his truck is failing and the insurance warranty won’t cover it so he decides to get hit and get a new car😂
Back in the day we were taught "3 on yellow," but after moving to Utah I quickly learned it was "5 on red."
They all cuss so polite.
Oh my heck!
