Scoping the Throttle Position Sensor and coping with single channel limitations.
The “composite view” can be utilized to check both channels linearity simultaneously after each channel individually has been confirmed to achieve lower and upper limits within specifications.
Note 1: Testing is carried out with
Ignition in Run engine Off.
Note 2: Some vehicles may not permit throttle (full) opening in the testing conditions detailed in the video.
In addition scan tool DTC correlation, it may be prudent to impose physical movement or thermal stress upon the harness / connectors / TB assembly if an intermittency is suspended, and cannot be duplicated.

Very informative ! !
I was a Technician most of my working carrier 40+ years (and Shop Foreman last years before retiring) , where drive-ablity, and electronics was my specialty. This type of schooling and equipment would have saved many hours of diagnosis, and sometimes "WAG" (wild ass guess) parts replacement.

Ordered a DSO 152 for automotive use based on your series of videos. A timing light, VOM and dwell meter just don't cut it any more. Arrived with 0 scope experience and getting comfortable with these instructions. Hope to graduate to a two channel some day but this is a great start. Links to some of your accessories ( attenuator, leads and so on) would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for these videos!
