Quite telling how the receptionist was friendly, talkative, receptive, knew the law and knew that you can do what you like on public land - A credit and an ambassador to the company! Yet the facilities Manager was ignorant, ill informed, rude, rash, wrong and if i may say ..a bit of a dick. Maybe he should work on reception for a few months to learn how to talk to members of the public and deal with issues without having to cry to the police at the first sign of an issue. Give the fantastic receptionist a pay rise!

All Facilities Managers should know the regulations. It is the FM that is responsible for educating security and front-of-house. People have no problem being recorded out in public by CCTV because they are use to it. If someone whips out their phone or hand held camera, then some people get triggered and overreact 😮. Case in point facilities manager and clueless SIA security. Police are not going to come out for the facilities manager 😂. You did your best to chill the people and gave out plenty of key rings today😄
We are recorded 'everywhere' buses, taxis, shops, banks, the highstreet, every public building, on the road..So why do they get so upset? Unless of course they are up to something

Behaviour raises questions about someone's ability for the post. The facilities manager reverted to childish behaviour (Which must be rather embarrassing for him now) as he was dealing with an internal audit at the time but could not keep his big nose out of a public audit which was none of his business. I imagine he shall not repeat this behaviour. Makes one wonder though, how does he deal with issues that annoy him at home? Crikey!
I've noticed that more often than not, when people say "we're phoning the police" they rush away, like it's a parting shot, and now you're in big trouble! lol.

Yes - as a qualified FM, it really is the new term for caretaker - The FM is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of the premises, so that everyone else can concentrate on just making money for the business. FM will usually be responsible for "hard" facilities such as gardening, buildings maintenance etc, and "soft" faculties such as catering, security, hospitality, cleaning etc. Most of the work is contracted out to people who know what they're doing, so the role of the FM is to supervise the personnel. That facilities manager is obviously ex army, they live their life by orders, that's all they know, give an order or obey an order, look at the way he marched down the road, he was thrown because you didn't just blindly obey him and he was gonna get you sorted.
Having served in the Army myself for 23 years, it's not as simple as you seem to think it is. Giving orders and obeying them, don't quite amount to the same thing. No soldiers I've worked with in some war zones, certainly wouldn't open fire blindly, just because someone says so. Most of us can work out if an order is legitimate or not. Normal everyday orders in the camp environment are completely different to orders in a war zone environment.

Demonstrably untrue. I spent my entire adult life in boots, worked my way up through the ranks, have spent years down in the mud *and* in an air conditioned office behind a desk. I can pretty much guarantee that I know more than you and have an intimate working knowledge of subject matter(s) that would leave you with a headache. Not only that, I have helped shape history (got the gongs, t-shirts and scars to prove it), have represented the Army *and* the MOD on a National level and am a thoroughly world-wise individual.
In addition to the above, I'm still *very* fit (boxed for years in addition to maintaining my personal fitness for work/ops) and don't think you would say "boo" to me in person.
Since you're so fond of making assumptions, allow me to join in - you're obviously a fat, stupid, worthless civvy wank who is incapable of raising his personal status above that of dole-scum. You clearly tried to join the Armed Forces but failed to make the (modest) entry-level grade and are now a bitter, resentful waste of skin.

I did some work for a company called Rextroth years ago based in Germany and they were linked to one of the big technology firms then and used the same way of calling the business using the well known brand first and then Rextroth so having seen the German flag here i assume its a massive concern as they were 20 years ago and are linked to many different brands.
I know no one is interested in my little story but it just nudged my memories seeing the name again.

After following DJ Audits for nearly a year and watching almost all his videos I have some thoughts. I have watched quite few videos from other Auditor channels that are in the same niche, but this channel is different for few reasons. The content creator on this channel have always respectful approach to the business he chooses to make subject of his videos, he even makes the effort to present himself to the staff and inform them of his intentions, though on most cases he is not met with the same level of professionalism and respect, in the contrary and quite often he is met by rude staff and ignorant security guards with ZERO knowledge on photography/videography laws in UK. On majority of his videos security and staff have had ineffective aggressive approach trying to bully him and my favorite part of the videos are always the parts when he stands his ground making them retreat like dogs with their tails between their legs. This is the perfect recipe to make the videos interesting and people he encounters, without realizing do become participants on his videos. Lawful activity using cameras while standing on a public land and finish off with the drone (AKA David) which always makes them bizarrely suspicions, nervous and paranoid but obviously they cannot do much against an activity that is completely lawful. Imagine, it could be any of us who is passionate about photography and videography, and this is what really makes me nervous when I fly my drones, being harassed by random people. With the Mavic 3 Pro I know must find pockets away from people and buildings (even with A2 qualification) but zoom lens cameras do compensate for the distance. For close urban areas, I use the Mini 4 Pro which is very popular for a very specific reason: minimal restrictions! I do believe what DJ Audits does (and others like him do) have educational purpose and a positive impact for us all photography hobbyists/content creators and I have started to notice this when I fly my drone, how people ask about the weight of the drone and mention a UA-cam channel where they have learned about drone laws in UK and how sub 250 gr drones are exempt from most restrictions (excluding airports, prisons, military basses, crowds of people) So DJ Audits, if you are reading this - Thank You for your work and please don’t stop doing what you do. We very much appreciate it.
