The pain I experience started from Grief with my mom passing away. It started as daily panic attacks and depression. The tension from the panic and crying turned pain turned into chronic pain. Ive been told from some practitioners , non-western, that say my nervous system is fried. I’m in constant pain and panic about 98% of the day. Now I feel angered and frustrated all day. Not having a great time at all but grateful for being alive. I think. May all pain sufferers be happy, healthy and free of pain. 😢❤

I do t know about that at this paint. It makes all the pain worse. May all pain sufferers be happy, healthy and free of pain. 😢❤

    Ha!
Here's one thing I am doing right!!
I verbalize my anger often, just to loose the tension.
I do this mostly at home, alone.
Sometimes also outside, but never directly address someone.
I just curse at my symptoms, my situation, and things that make me angry in my life, like inappropriate or unloving or disrepectfull behavior from others, or maybe unfair treatment or, yes, whatever bothers or hurts me.
Lately I swear a lot at Putin too!
I feel a lot better when I do this!!

Yes good. Just try not to attack yourself too much. Acknowledge anger with the intention of letting it go

Thank you, Jim. I began instinctively doing this-privately saying out loud why I was angry before I watched this video so you can only imagine my elation after hearing about the studies that proved it. Our minds and bodies are really quite wonderful. I so appreciate you.

I know when I read the Great Pain Deception by Steve Ozanich, he writes a lot about anger . Stuffed anger . Subconscious anger. Sometimes we have a hard time finding it. And express it ,So we can have peace.

For those of us that are repressors / suppressors... Do you have tips for how to get in touch with our anger?
I think that anger in others makes me scared so I suppress it in myself as well.
Or maybe you've already made a video about that?
Thank you so much for your amazing content. I'm so glad I've found your channel.

Yes conflict (anger) can cause anxiety. This was true for me for years. So need get past anxiety and be willing feel and acknowledge & express anger. Lean into it label it when it arises and then let it go.

Really great video Jim! I love how you bring in the science that proves Sarno’s clinical practice. Thanks for sharing these studies in such a thoughtful way.

In the past two days your videos have helped enormously, thank you. In regards to anger, I often can't recognise that emotion in my body. I grew up with abuse, right until 40 years of age I persisted with a volatile abusive sister, so, all my life.I am safe now, no contact with abuser, however feeling numb is often how my feelings are, and Im not in my body much.

Yes you need to gradually learn to open up and relax into feelings. It’s a learning process like anything else. Moving from freeze to facing mode. Reach out if you need more help take care!

Thank you for this thought-provoking video. It spurred me to recognize some of my anger patterns and how and when they were formed. I used energy psychology to neutralize a piece of this stuck and frozen pattern of reactivity.

There could be anger behind anxiety for sure. Anger can sit between anxiety and guilt

@@sarahberesford4724 OK you have to overcome that. Anxiety is a false fear and we have to face that and handle that to move forward. Start to Challenge and confront fear that’s how you break the fear avoidance cycle
