They’re always there! Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean you’re standing 3 feet away from one or closer. But when there is a storm on the way, and the water start to get a little rougher, that’s when you really need to watch out. If you want to come to Florida, don’t ever take a helicopter ride over the ocean because you will be freaked out and you’ll never go in the water. That’s pretty much anywhere in the ocean. But it’s rare, you’ll never go on the ocean again. Now you might be sitting back and thinking if I go in the water, I’m gonna get it by a shark! No normally they’ll hit everybody else but lol so that’s a bonus and a sad thing at the same time. So what I’m saying is you never know just respect don’t splash, don’t wear bright colors. Don’t wear gold. Anything that reflects the sun there are tried to do. If you’re gonna go in the water, this is my go to and I was born here. I never go more than ankle deep take a bucket yourself and get the fuck out. I’m just saying. But I have spent many years surfing and have never been bit. But you have to remember, you are their territory. If you’re willing to go in the water, you’re willing to take that chance.. Just my thoughts being a born and raised Floridian who used to serve I’ve scuba dived, I’ve done the whole 9 yards. I’ve never been hit by a shark. Now I’ve had dolphins, pop their fans out of the water while I was trying to surf and it freaked me out!!! When that happens, they all look like fans. But there is actually a way to tell the difference. Purposes or more straight up and down fans, sharks have a little bit of curve to the back of them. But don’t take my word for it. Just remember once you decide to go in the ocean you need to be prepared for the unexpected.. Don’t be afraid have fun. It’s very unlikely you’ll be the one there right. Also remember to swim with a bunch of people that you don’t know, this way you’re not watching them and you’re only thinking about yourself.😂 it’s not funny. I’m just trying to make white of a dangerous situation. If you swing by yourself, then you’re the only target! But if you swim with a bunch of people, just saying, they have a choice on who they’re going to go after. If you see Finn, don’t hesitate somebody you don’t know as long as it’s not a child and put them in in front of you in the shark and head for sure. Just a thought.😂😂😂😂
Love NSB l once lived on this beach l visit every summer for 25 years now. I dont trust swimming in the ocean due to sharks. I swim in pools but love the ocean its close to my heart . I love the sound of the waves, seashells and the beach vibe with all kinds of people enjoying the beach.
Use to live in southern California when i was a teenager hanging out waiting for the wave in 25 foot water is scary Now to think about it, Seen some sharks but never worried i was a kid
