    What type of mats were used in this experiment? If you have additional information I would gladly take it. Thanks

      Joshua, what kind of additional info are you after, it was part of a walleye/sturgeon restoration project as a way to monitor spawning success on the newly created beds. The Matt’s were a blue furnace filter medium readily available at the hardware store, anchored with rock substrate

      @@electricrcfoamflyer Thanks for the prompt reply. I am currently a student at UW-Whitewater doing a research project on whether or not walleyes and northern pike spawn on Whitewater lake. I've been doing a lot of research when it comes to what kind of methods we could use and the use of mats came up. Would this method work for the northern pike as well? Does it work on a Lake? How often did you check the mats and was it in your mind a successful way to monitor spawning success?
      If you answer any of these questions I would be thrilled. Thank You
