I remember my cousin and I used to play Minecraft lan server. Our favorite thing to do was blow up houses we made for each other or our smaller cousins and see their reactions. It was hilarious and dumb. The whole point of it was to trick whoever we made the house for, once they step on a tile it would turn on a switch that would blow up the house haha. We decided to stop using TNT's and actually create a community where we could live with one another. It was located deep inside a mining area. We built a community, houses, farms, and much more. It took us around 2 months or so. It was all going well until I had the bright idea to create a train system that would pass by all the places in the community we made. As I finally completed, I told my cousin to test it out, once he went inside and started the switch, the train was moving. All was going well until suddenly I remembered that I put a tile that would activate the TNTs I somehow placed. I had no idea why I put those in the first place. It was probably out of habit, reflex, or boredom. Maybe that opening is parodied so frequently that it’s almost like it’s not even a joke anymore really. That being said, yes, it is a great movie. Far better than the more recent Irishman, for example.
I miss San Andreas. Stealing a truck, pretending to be a truck driver, listening to K-Rose and driving on the open road. Memories, I'm crying right now.
I love this game! 😍 I remember being 7-8, I completed the first two missions then just messed around with the map then one day my dad and I decided to finish the story from start to finish. Did most of the work myself but handed the controller to my dad for the harder missions haha, we also challenged each other to see who reaches 6 stars first! I once did it and even hijacked a tank and paused the game and waited until dad arrived from work so he sees it. Good times (:

Dang the intro is cool. And now i'm seriously thinking of finally revisiting this classic. I spent so much time with this game. Re-creating movie scenes from crime movies and so on (similar in GTAIV and such, but this was such an experience back in the day).
Kudos to you Jirard for checking out a Grand Theft Auto game, looking forward to seeing you review the rest of series as well, maybe even other Rockstar games like Max Payne, Bully and Red Dead Redemption. Only downside is that it'll make my reviews of them look inferior in comparison to yours, haha

Those Damn Paramedic Missions!! Much props for pointing them out. Grand theft Auto turned me into a perfectionist. When San Andreas was about to come out. I was so excited.i decided, let's go back and finish Vice City and GTA 3 100%. Vice City doesn't even compare to how hard GTA 3 was to complete. Just because of the damn side missions and no larger map for reference when you pause.
Growing up in the late eighties and early nineties I had a love for video games, but after high school for what ever reason I just fell out of gaming. I guess college and life just got in the way. Then one day a buddy of mine invited me over after work to drink a few beers and play some video games. I was like OK, Ill go drink a few and hangout. Then he was like "Bro! you have to check out this new game, its crazy!" He started it up and immediately I was blown away. We ended up playing for about 4 hours that evening and the very next day I ran out and bought a PS2 and GTA III. I was back baby and I've never left.
He should do vice city stories. I played vice city and SA back in the day but vice city stories got little to no attention when it came out. If youve not played it, you should. Criminally underrated

I absolutely love the stylistic approach you took with this video, the soft warm tone of the smooth jazz music and VO mixed with the cold noir colors is reminds me of The Godfather if it was in black in white and were made in 1942 along with Casablanca (which is my favorite classic movie).

Here's a recipe for cookies: Preparation time: 40min Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 egg 1 egg yolk 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Procedure: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3 inches apart. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire rack.
i loved this game, it felt ultra realistic for me at the time, i was a kid, and i still remember how i felt and how much i loved the first mission when you driver that guy in the car from the bridge on that foggy morning.
Holy shit this is the best present I've gotten, it's my birthday today and seeing you finally complete a GTA game means a lot to me since it's one of my favorite series of all time, it's no San Andreas but it's still a great video
Despite its flaws that have only become apparent due to age and the fact that we’re spoiled in this modern age of gaming, Grand Theft Auto III will always be a masterpiece. It’s a classic of the open world, shooter genre, and for me, it’s only bested by GTA IV and San Andreas.
I got 100% on Vice City & San Andres before Trophies were a thing. I bought the re-releases on PS4 and plan to go back and do it all over again… someday
With the release of later GTA titles, Saints Row II, III, IV, Driver III, Parallel Lines and even the True Crime series...the bar was set much higher ; however, I do still enjoy playing the simple GTA III because of the small and compact city.
Great review! This game was the reason I got a ps2! I remember my dad buying me the console and this game when I was 12 years old and was mind blown when he ignored the 18 rating! At the time I thought it was the best game of all time.
I loved this game when I first got my PS2. I tried playing it again a few years ago, and I did not enjoy it at all. I mean it wasn't bad but the poor controls really killed any enjoyment I got from the game hindering any little fun to be had in it.
I’m so glad you’ve done this I’ve wanted this video for almost 7 years now, I pray you do more rockstar games such as San Andreas and Max Payne 2 or 3 💯
GTA3 was revolutionary for it's time, but you can definitely tell it was the first as there have been numerous vast improvements on the series and genre as a whole since then.

The thumbnail art has been so good since 300 dudes. Every thumbnail has been far more enticing to click on since the Smash Bros Ultimate episode. It's really solid, polished work and it shows.
Here's a recipe for cookies: Preparation time: 40min
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 egg 1 egg yolk 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Procedure: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Thanks....
I guess
Great. I missed the train I was following thanks to reading your recipe! Hope you're proud!
i loved this game, it felt ultra realistic for me at the time, i was a kid, and i still remember how i felt and how much i loved the first mission when you driver that guy in the car from the bridge on that foggy morning.
The Purple Nine glitch is the only phone side mission that prevents me from completing 100%.
Holy shit this is the best present I've gotten, it's my birthday today and seeing you finally complete a GTA game means a lot to me since it's one of my favorite series of all time, it's no San Andreas but it's still a great video
I haven't played this game in probably 15 years but I still remember where that banshee is
Don't scratch it i just had it waxed.
Despite its flaws that have only become apparent due to age and the fact that we’re spoiled in this modern age of gaming, Grand Theft Auto III will always be a masterpiece. It’s a classic of the open world, shooter genre, and for me, it’s only bested by GTA IV and San Andreas.
0:00 Goodfellas reference
I got 100% on Vice City & San Andres before Trophies were a thing.
I bought the re-releases on PS4 and plan to go back and do it all over again… someday
8:10
Damn is that the Mafia 2 theme song ?
*Respect*
7:45 the _Mafia II_ theme! ayeee
A Goodfellows reference is always a good way to start a video
I remember finding all the collectibles and doing all the rescue missions all the while listening to msx fm. Good times, very good times.
I mean it wasn't bad but the poor controls really killed any enjoyment I got from the game hindering any little fun to be had in it.
this game is so fucking hard, real shame rockstar took the game off the playstation store so i cant play the original
Yeah gutted bout that one
This game makes me want to go bowling for some reason
Can't wait for that GTA San Andreas Completionist video!!! Love your videos
"When plans go off the rails and somebody gets had"
All them years, Dutch...
I’m so glad you’ve done this I’ve wanted this video for almost 7 years now, I pray you do more rockstar games such as San Andreas and Max Payne 2 or 3 💯
NPC: In the Navy!
GTA3 was revolutionary for it's time, but you can definitely tell it was the first as there have been numerous vast improvements on the series and genre as a whole since then.
Imagine not even being 30 and getting grey hairs because of the stress of playing video games everyday.
I'm 36 and still have lovely natural colour, I play ALOT of games and it's friends who are going grey or balding!!!
@HicksZ34 Lucky!!
i had gray hair when i was 13
@@champthemaverick5811 Same lmao
Gray hair has nothing to do with age.
this game got a unique charm to it
i opened my sealed copy today and had fun with it
looking forward to play it again
