Some weapons have better feedback than others. The gladiator arena video with the big axe looks good, but some high lvl enemies shrug damage with small weapons if the have a higher lvl than you. I'm still cautiously optimistic.
thom the my issue is that assassins are supposed to be swift, tactical and efficient in the way that they kill. This is just the total opposite with slow and clunky movements
Mixed feelings, it's looking really good but I still think it's going to give the same feeling like previous AC's did: Slowly getting boring. I'll still buy it, even though the freerunning looks a little too arcadish
Bringdead2thegame That's the problem. People buying games that they know are bad. Why would Ubisoft make a good Assassin's Creed game if everyone keeps buying all the bullshit games they release?
+Matheus Mendes they should know if the game is good or bad by their reviews, not for the money it has done. how would you feedback a game without even having it?
Matheus Mendes your They've always tried to add or improve mechanics, which people were wishing for. wether they did it right or not, the implication that they're releasing the same game is not true.
jononejon Dude this game has been in development for over a year lmao. It's not like they developed it all right after Syndicate came out. Not to mention, it's a freaking different studio every time.
A lot has changed actually. Yeah it's still Assassin's Creed duh, but they borrowed a lot of assets from other open world games. Did you expect them to pull a RE7 or something?
I know it's a little detail. But I like the fact that he doesn't have his Annular finger (ring finger) since he uses a primitive hidden blade which was created much earlier than Altair's. Of course this means he will only have the one, so double assassinations will have to happen differently.
Untrue in act revelations Altair uses the apple to find a ancient dual blade schematic as for the finger I believe this coordinates with ac2 in which the blade was modified to compensate I would recommend to do more research on it good observation
lol actually they were just Egyptians at this period they weren't linked to the arab yet the arab came to egypt in like 1400 years ago that's about 600 hundred years before they came
I can't wait for this game, I love Eygpt and I wasn't expecting them to do Eygpt. If the combat and controls are difficult in origins doesn't that mean that all the other AC games were easy? If there changing things around isn't that a good thing as they are stepping outside the box and listening to new ideas.I would rather they spice it up then stick to same thing, it would get a bit dull reusing the same notations.
Haven't you noticed? Combat in other Ac games were so easy. Counter and then kill for 90% of enemies. For commanders break defence. It negated the need for stealth since you could litterally kill every guard to complete your mission.
Am I the only one who actually likes this game by the looks of it? The changes that were made are actually reasonable. Y'all just need to get used to them. Calm down and play the game first, then judge.
Edward Kenway Yeah, I never got that mentality either. 'Don't judge cause you haven't played, but I can because I'm being positive'. I have no feelings on the game myself.
naschylobo I'm always positive? Why would I be negative about the games I adore? It's just that the arguments which people comment are insignificant and unreasonable.
Bugged audio, janky and cartoonish animations, clunky looking combat, horses that move like their legs are made from rigid pipes, sail boats that move like they're powered by an outboard, hovering eagle drones, user-guided arrows... but a fascinating world and an intriguing take on shaking up the franchise. This is only an alpha after all, so let's hope they improve it in the handful of months they have left. Some people may disagree, some comments seem thrilled by the gameplay we've seen, but to me in its current state this just looks dated and frustrating to play. I honestly hope they spend these next months wisely
ua-cam.com/video/A7kSzTatiNo/v-deo.html WOAHHHH, INNOVATIONNNN WE HAVE A MOTHERFUCKING EAGLEBOT IN THE OLD EGYPT. Woah man, Egypt was really futuristic back in time
DaRogue People seeing the gameplay at all made them complain. Even if everything people asked for where put in they would still complain about it. People like complaining.
Agreed, about the fighting system. I know this is an early build but based off the demo you can tell there is still some more work to be done. The animations and transitions with the main character as they interact with the world are not as polished as previous games in the series. I do love the depth of this world. Might almost consider getting this game as a day one purchase. Based on the scale alone it seems to be at least 50-60 hours of gameplay.
Only thing I still don't like is the assassination animation. Ever since unity they kept it where you jump on the first then they stab them with the blade. What happened to the original Landing on top of them while stabbing at the same time?
No, in Assassin's Creed 1, Altair even dropped them before stabbing them. The thrust of the blade into the victim is more effective that way that pouncing on them while stabbing them at the same time, because as you're lunging the blade in, their body is falling back
Joey Muffaluffagus actually you're very wrong m8. Every game up until unity, they jumped on to their target with the blade already out and as soon as they landed on top they stabbed. Now from AC: unity and up they land on their target completely first then flick the blade out and stab. Which I personally don't like because it ruins the flow and doesn't look as cool either.
Jordan Ruble It's kind of ridiculous now, and it really doesn't help me get immersed in the game since I'm a practitioner of Parkour myself. They've had 9 instalments to get it right, and whilst the flow of movement has improved; nothing else has. It's still buggy as hell, and they haven't changed any of the movement concepts in ages. Like, would it kill them to put a Kong vault, or a double Kong vault, or even a Kong to precision in there? The environment looks so rich and they could manipulate and use it so much more efficiently. The only vaults I ever see are Speeds, Safety's, and Dashes.
Christian Edwards This is Alpha gameplay, and it's more importantly it's a fricking video game. Literally nothing in it realistic. A hidden blade wouldn't even work the same way in real life as far as I know. If they embellish and/or modify the parkour a bit to make the game more fun and fluid, I'm down. People need to relax. Or if you don't like it, just don't get it. Simple.
The game looks amazing but I really hope ubi takes these next 2 months to polish up the game and fix the small things like at 15:20 when he assassinates the floor instead of the guard.
I loved black flag too. I spent a lot of hours in that game. But I would urge you to be cautious and not trust ubisoft no matter what they say. They have currently taken the rank of most bullshit publisher ever. I doubt much improvements will be made to this game before its launch and ubisoft will release it in its current buggy and drab condition. Not to mention it will probably be badly optimized for us pc gamers.
Its only when you zoom its a sound thats often used in games featuring scopes for rifles zooming in or out making that click sound. Like a gear is spinning slowly. It could also represent a very old mechanism of sorts that clicks when you rotate it. But yes the zoom click sound could be a togglable option. They have since Primal been very forward with options to adapt the Ui and various sounds so I think it might be an option.
I don't hate it but it's so different from Assassins Creed Syndicate which was the first one I played, that it kind of makes me not like it because it seems so different.
SUGA INFIRES ME You started off late, you should play the original ones, syndicate wasn't the best place to start at lol but i understand what you mean
It looks "good." They will have to fix somethings so I think that the full game will be awesome, and I Love the theme and that they're testning out new things.
G! Gaming nah 4 was boring as hell, such a samey landscape I always forgot where I was unless I looked at the map. 2 and brotherhood were definitely the best ones
Lord Ratis but doesn't the previous eagle vision where in a human skull sees the world in a blue filter with color coded people look ridiculous too? This is a game for Christs sake
What's up with the audio? No sound when running, jumping, falling down. And those constant annoying clicks when you rotate and things pop up on that little line above
priestMan Sound bugs are fixable within four months. I will agree with you though when people you the excuse for things like revamping the whole combat system.
priestMan Audio and cinematic animation are of the last things a developer will finish before release. If it's not a vital mechanic (like hearing enemies announce that they've spotted you) then it's saved for last. Probably already exists too, they just haven't mapped the audio yet for footsteps and the little things.
First of all i have to say that i played every single assassins creed game from the beginning till now. I don't understand why Ubisoft isn't going back to the things that worked. The best assassins creed games where the ones with ezio. Thats because you had a long storyline and could empathize better with the main charaacter. Even though the story of assassins creed 3 was nonsense you had still the chance to empathize a little with the main character, because you started playing him as a child. But since this part they throw you into a new story that has not much to do with the whole thing. You were just a random guy in abstergo industries playing with another ancestor. Even though the story with Desmond was also not quite well it all made sense. My personal wish would be that they make a new story with a new character, you play not only for just one part, but for several ones. I think this would work, getting the game more exciting again.
When I read this game was set in Egypt, I had my fingers crossed that it would be Egypt in the 13th Century. At the end of Revelations, it was established that Altaïr's son, Darim, was going to Alexandria. It would've been the perfect opportunity to take the franchise back to its roots, narrative-wise.
This is just silly... it looks stunning, great animations... but for an "assassin" type game, it's pretty de-hyping to "sneak up" on someone on a literal 90 degree angle where they can obviously see you. Not to mention the Commander, who is on a ship with nothing but dead crewmates that are slaughtered literally in front of him - but yeah, sure, gotta go back to sitting down and looking at those maps. Come on, talk about killing any form of atmosphere.
I agree with you completely! lmao Hitman (2016) did a great job with the AI in my opinion. Like one time, I killed a guard and disposed of his body. His gun was left on the ground and while i stood there monitoring the AI, I saw him get curious, walk up to the gun, pick it up, and start looking around for the missing guard. Things like THAT is what Assassins Creed needs!! Smart AI that pick up on things that are suspicious.. There is no way in hell that you can ghost an entire ship and the captain just sits there like nothing happened!! I am a big fan of the AC series but they need to STEP IT UP!!!
That's always been how AC games work. At least, the original ones, anyway. Some things would just be stupid gameplay if they were realistic. If the guards freaked out massively every time a guard goes down, you'd never be able to take anyone out, given how most of the game is designed. They've never been 100% a "sneak" game. They're a hybrid of stealth and open combat, and are supposed to let you sort out which one you want to prioritize.
The replies here are irrelevant to the shitty AI, no one mentioned "immersion" or "atmosphere". If your guard has been slaughtered and you have a line of sight to the bodies of said guard, you're not going to just sit there and continue with your duties. I don't think that's "immersion", it's more like common sense. Like Devon Carter said above, Hitman did a decent job of it.
Compton OTLW there is a point in between being historically accurate and using completely over the top, cheesy game mechanics and blatantly disregarding history. This game is in the realm of the cheesy spectrum.
Refurbished bow and arrow mechanincs, horseriding and boat mechanics? ARPG elements with new skilltree? The eagle Senu that lets you scout an entire area? Making virtually every structure climeable? FIGHTING A FRICKIN HIPPO UNDERWATER WITH A SPEAR. are you on drugs sir?
Beautiful looking game, first minute in and you can already see the same issues w/ climbing mechanics and combat still has me skeptical. Really curious how this will turn out for Ubisoft come this fall
Adonis Pacheco it probably end with us being pissed off a Ubisoft and then the whole AC community just abandons the series due Ubisofts half assed effort on games
I see Ubisoft's drone fetish has become so great that they've reskinned it as a bird and called it eagle vision just to have an excuse to show off the landscape.
10:10 jumps into water, no sound 18:11 the boy stands up ALL OF A SUDDEN Come on... They need to add much much more things to make the game feels complete
like the concept, but the engine looks dated - Assassin's Creed Unity engine looked beautiful (lighting etc.) despite the game being buggy. EDIT: sorry, just FYI, i work as a 3d designer and worked with with different engines, this is juts my observation. The engine feels different that's all, try to open one of the Digital Foundry videos on AC: Unity and compare it to AC: Origins - AC :U is deploying more advanced lighting, more complex geometry and more complex cloth simulations. AC:O is running on XB1x you would expect for it to look better.
Adam Torriani Not the same engine, stupid. Do some research before saying some bulshit. This game uses an upgraded version of the Black Flag engine, which is NOT the same engine of Unity.
Nope, as a general rule a game will not have any changes made to it three months before release since the production of DVDs etc will begin about then. So no, very little will be changed
First, they won't need that much time to fix those little bugs. Yes, those are nothing compared to the work they've done. And second, they won't release a game like that. The final game is always more fluid and fixed than the Alpha.
Love how people are complaining about how this is unrealistic or untrue historically. This is a game, I'm not sure about the next guy, but I'm pretty sure they didn't have hooded guys running around jumping from 100 ft high platforms, or be able to blend in to a crowd while wearing their hood and outfit without being noticed as the enemy run right by you in real life or in history. 😂 this is a rant now.
Yeah of course Assassin'S weren't real, but the rest was supposed to be somewhat historically correct (Minus the ancient civilization bullshit, which only affected the "present" which isn't supposed to be historically anything).. Giant snakes is a new one

Michael Scofield Honestly you hold LT or L2 to enter Windows in unity. may be the same.
Michael Scofield hey Scofield from prison break
Michael Scofield Fernando Sucre
it's not assassin's creed if it doesn't have that
Not a bug.
What if they make one in ancient persia... And what if the main character is a prince... you could even say a Prince of Persia
woah
Luís francisco Kohatsu Coutinho Originally, the first Assassin's Creed was supposed to be a Prince of Persia reboot. So you're not too far off here.
Luís francisco Kohatsu Coutinho Assassin's Creed Chronicles?
Thats the joke.
Luís francisco Kohatsu Coutinho Ubisoft originally planned to make it a Prince of Persia game but its now the AC we know now
Game looks amazing but I am a little scared of the combat system
Gears = microtransactions alert!
i saw the 30 mins demo after the conference, its still in alpha but the combat looked more amazing than in the trailer, the AI were really engaging and chaning patterns on how to attack you, it really is different and of course its hard to get used to but im so glad that the combat changed from AC Unity or Syndicate wher ethe combat was just sooo generic and boring, they still have time to polish it tho so lets hope for the best
Infamous Panik I actually kinda liked Unity's combat system. What I didn't like was the goddamn guns.
+Matheus Mendes
they should know if the game is good or bad by their reviews, not for the money it has done. how would you feedback a game without even having it?
Matheus Mendes your They've always tried to add or improve mechanics, which people were wishing for. wether they did it right or not, the implication that they're releasing the same game is not true.
It's a good thing that Assassin's Creed took a year off so that the team could have some extra time to make the exact same game again
Literally nothing has changed but I'm still probably gonna get it because it looks fun
jononejon Dude this game has been in development for over a year lmao. It's not like they developed it all right after Syndicate came out. Not to mention, it's a freaking different studio every time.
A lot has changed actually. Yeah it's still Assassin's Creed duh, but they borrowed a lot of assets from other open world games. Did you expect them to pull a RE7 or something?
name 5 mechanics that are different from the other games...or anything
Same game every year only with different settings, characters and story.
I know it's a little detail. But I like the fact that he doesn't have his Annular finger (ring finger) since he uses a primitive hidden blade which was created much earlier than Altair's. Of course this means he will only have the one, so double assassinations will have to happen differently.
Calheb Darkblade true fact
I bet it will be a lot like Assassins creed unity where you assassinate one, then turn around and assassinate the other
Untrue in act revelations Altair uses the apple to find a ancient dual blade schematic as for the finger I believe this coordinates with ac2 in which the blade was modified to compensate I would recommend to do more research on it good observation
Cool how they all look like ancient Egyptians, kind of a mix between African and Arab
I should hope so Egypt is in Africa
Louie Smith yeah I know but I was afraid the game would just make them look like modern arabs Or blacks
yeah true
Rodhwan Ahmed There were many different looking Egyptians. Yes even some had blonde hair and blue eyes.
lol actually they were just Egyptians at this period they weren't linked to the arab yet the arab came to egypt in like 1400 years ago that's about 600 hundred years before they came
I can't wait for this game, I love Eygpt and I wasn't expecting them to do Eygpt.
Adrian Crevan same could be said for you
Edward Kenway Yeah, I never got that mentality either. 'Don't judge cause you haven't played, but I can because I'm being positive'. I have no feelings on the game myself.
naschylobo I'm always positive? Why would I be negative about the games I adore? It's just that the arguments which people comment are insignificant and unreasonable.
Hell, I'm pumped.
Which changes?
It's a good addition but right now, rock climbing looks atrocious
TheTUGAfreak
Yooo 😂
TheTUGAfreak major clipping
It's only alpha gameplay footage , they said that there would be some hiccups , it'll be fixed by the time the game is ready.
probably going to be like that on release :/
It'll DEFINITELY be like that on release. And its f*cking embarassing.
There's effectively no sound when he's running and jumping, What's up with that? It's quite annoying once you notice it.
ricardo Dowling I was thinking the same exact things
yeah i hope they fix it in time for release...
yeah i was hoping it was a bug on the build or something, still looks like a beautiful game though.
Wtf you're right
ricardo Dowling it's still in alpha dude they have time to make adjustments
Somebody still watching this in 2019?
he may be able to climb anything but he aint climbing into my heart son
Bugged audio, janky and cartoonish animations, clunky looking combat, horses that move like their legs are made from rigid pipes, sail boats that move like they're powered by an outboard, hovering eagle drones, user-guided arrows... but a fascinating world and an intriguing take on shaking up the franchise. This is only an alpha after all, so let's hope they improve it in the handful of months they have left. Some people may disagree, some comments seem thrilled by the gameplay we've seen, but to me in its current state this just looks dated and frustrating to play. I honestly hope they spend these next months wisely
It's still in alpha, mate.
ItacooL I acknowledged that, mate
We all know this isnt Alpha. It will launch exactly like here. Classic Ubisoft
Ulaş Güney Genç you're saying the game will only have 1 city in a map smaller than Bahrain? grow up kid you don't know anything about development
did you even saw when he use the map, its obviously that is a small part of the map
The Last Hunter No ı am saying game will launch with tons of bugs.
no they will launch the game after they downgrade the "alpha"
ua-cam.com/video/A7kSzTatiNo/v-deo.html WOAHHHH, INNOVATIONNNN WE HAVE A MOTHERFUCKING EAGLEBOT IN THE OLD EGYPT.
Woah man, Egypt was really futuristic back in time
When we have played AC Origins, we can notice the differences. But the demo is very similar to the final game.
They shouldn't have shown such early alpha, maybe a simple alone reveal trailer would have been good for the hype.
DOMINNIMOD198 yeah, showing gameplay makes people complain... complain and COMPLAIN.
Yep, people can't handle it.
DaRogue People seeing the gameplay at all made them complain. Even if everything people asked for where put in they would still complain about it. People like complaining.
The map looks incredible. I'm excited to experience Ancient Egypt. I'm concerned about the story and fighting system though...
Radu Antoniu Zelda is better
Agreed, about the fighting system. I know this is an early build but based off the demo you can tell there is still some more work to be done. The animations and transitions with the main character as they interact with the world are not as polished as previous games in the series. I do love the depth of this world. Might almost consider getting this game as a day one purchase. Based on the scale alone it seems to be at least 50-60 hours of gameplay.
I like your fitness videos
Am I the only one who thinks the people making this game need to work on the combat a little bit more
Jesse Lugo much much more
Jesse Lugo They also need to work on every single other thing too
Google can give you the definition of alpha you know.
Lex they don't change the core combat from alpha
Jesse Lugo not by a longshot, it looks like a load of dried spunk
the person who is playing is so bad at the game
Only thing I still don't like is the assassination animation. Ever since unity they kept it where you jump on the first then they stab them with the blade. What happened to the original Landing on top of them while stabbing at the same time?
Allie Boy Wouldn't it hurt if you landed on the ground with a blade attached to your arm? I hope you get what I mean.
Keks but the hidden blade is attached to him where it's out or not
Allie Boy Sorry, can you explain what you mean? I don't get it.
Fake news, this was more then 20 min
Hahahahahaaaa
AsahdKhaled VEVO I
mark Report IGN for the click bait!
The Parkour looks very rugged, I hope they modify it before launch to be more like ACIII
Nope. That's the parkour they'l be using, they said it will be modified and it's not gonna be like the previous games....
Simple.
Jordan Ruble AC 3 is the best❤
They need to put unity parkour system into this
The game looks amazing but I really hope ubi takes these next 2 months to polish up the game and fix the small things like at 15:20 when he assassinates the floor instead of the guard.
"assassinates the floor instead of the guard" 🤣🤣🤣 that's funny TBH
The same team behind Black Flag is making this. Regardless of what these crybabies say I'm getting it, I trust them.
Hakeem Lingo don't let hype blind you. This looks very generic
Brinsk Idk man I just feel like they deserve my trust because I like Black Flag it got me into the series but some of it is probably bias.
Hakeem Lingo black flag was definitely one of the best of the series and reawakened my love for Assassins creed
You're really stupid if you'll buy this game because developer made 1 good game.
I know this is alpha footage but I hope they fix the feet clipping through the rocks
am I the only one who is annoyed by the sound or the way -point map at the top. like I really hope they take that out. it's bugging the hell out of me
Yes, I do hope they change that, its freaking annoying
Saaame Bruh I was just about to comment that
This would single handedly ruin the game for me. Such a small thing. Who thought that would be a good idea?
haha every time you try to move left or right, you hear *CLICK CLICK*
Its only when you zoom its a sound thats often used in games featuring scopes for rifles zooming in or out making that click sound. Like a gear is spinning slowly. It could also represent a very old mechanism of sorts that clicks when you rotate it. But yes the zoom click sound could be a togglable option. They have since Primal been very forward with options to adapt the Ui and various sounds so I think it might be an option.
Me: You know, realistic physics is important to-
Game Developers: *hand goes through rocks*
Why don't you get someone who can actually play ?
Hope this game is not a disappointment.... Best luck to ubisoft
Ruxir 02 they don't need luck. Just to put some extra cash on enhancing the wretched old as age gameplay
The game looks really good, but honestly, it needs to polished. Certain objects don't interact well with the player.
Pedro Aranha Rosendo alpha
ye
Hope they will take ther time and fix all the bugs
A L P H A
Pedro Aranha Rosendo "Alpha Gameplay."
What people should understand, the game is not finished yet
I don't hate it but it's so different from Assassins Creed Syndicate which was the first one I played, that it kind of makes me not like it because it seems so different.
Close enough that barely anything will change other than minor things.
SUGA INFIRES ME You started off late, you should play the original ones, syndicate wasn't the best place to start at lol but i understand what you mean
I still got hope for this one
Stop hiding behind that excuse, it's boring
0:25
Like every part of AC :/
Anyone else think this game was gonna be a lot better than it seems?
no
Johnny Sofran yes
yes
It looks "good."
They will have to fix somethings so I think that the full game will be awesome, and I Love the theme and that they're testning out new things.
Johnny Sofran Pre alpha...... I think (and hope) it will become even better
nothing beats assassin's creed 2 imo, best game in the series by a mile
Zed no assassins creed 4
G! Gaming nah 4 was boring as hell, such a samey landscape I always forgot where I was unless I looked at the map. 2 and brotherhood were definitely the best ones
black flag
Zed black flag & liberation AND brotherhood were much better
Zed black flag was ten times better
A-friggin-mazing. This is my favorite game series by far and this one looks like it will not disappoint.
so many haters. this is alpha gameplay. I'd like ac unity animation when the assassin jumping after point sync or on water
I am sorry but the eagle drone is ridiculous
its from the animus yu cant undestand if you havent played all the other games or most of them
Agreed. Too much like Far cry
Lord Ratis but doesn't the previous eagle vision where in a human skull sees the world in a blue filter with color coded people look ridiculous too? This is a game for Christs sake
that was a horrible burn
Don't call it eagle drone call it "Meta-Vision"
I'm really looking forward to beta gamplays, because this guy plays like it's the first assassin's creed game he ever played
For real.
The bird is like drone on watch dogs2
Except it doesn't lose signal when it goes too far away
See that mountain in the back? Yeah, you can climb that.
15:22 does he say 'disgusting' because of the obvious glitch where he assassinated the ship floor instead of the guard?
Simon I was looking for someone to comment about that 😂😂😂😂😂
Well i'm glad i'm not the only one who noticed :P.
Simon it's still in the works
Yeh, i know. Chill
I'm chill just saying that
What's up with the audio? No sound when running, jumping, falling down. And those constant annoying clicks when you rotate and things pop up on that little line above
Ljupcho Gulicoski it's in Alpha it's not near completion
All this "its in alpha" is still no excuse. The game will be out in like 4 months and it should be more polished looking than this.
priestMan Sound bugs are fixable within four months.
Best graphics i've ever seen. No wonder it took 2 years to make... the water is finally updated and more realistic and carrying bodies is back!
I have heard, that this game will be a trilogy again. But I just heard it
4Invictus what is the best assasins creed?
Bayek using dead silence confirmed.
Assassins Creed:Modern Warfare
Drone Birds
GPS Arrows
Flavi Fookin lazer spyglass
haha :D well said :P
Assassins Creed : Wildlands eagle drone
Unmanded birds, GPS arrow guidance, fookin eagle sights. *thatcher voice*
Flavi
I am a big fan of the AC series but they need to STEP IT UP!!!
that's AC logic lmao
Philip Zeplin Anyone who's playing these games for immersion or 'atmosphere', is doing it wrong.
Play some Western Rpgs if you want that.
Anyone else want Altair and Jesper Kyd back?
yep
the earth was so beautiful back then
anyone else annoyed by the fact that assassinate is now Y instead of X?
Geodude116 Yeah, but what will X be for?
Geodude116 just when you think things couldn't get worse lol
luckily for you, it is said that the controls can be changed!
Cautiously optimistic, however this is *not* Alpha, don't fool yourselves.
UBISOFT HERE IT IS: combat, assasination, interaction, climbing walls, going through a window (0:25) fix that, MAKE IT SMOOTH, and i will buy it !
ALPHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Edo Fluit the game's been in development since ac unity. this aint alpha its gon a release like this
Gamerspot0 QQ
3 and 1/2 plus years of development. Game is 4 months away. They used Alpha as a marketing term so people will look past the bugs and what not.
it gona release just like this mark my words
that boat is moving wayyy to fast for an ancient Egyptian boat
Compton OTLW no
Bobby Thomas would you rather spend hours trying to get where you're going?
Tyler no
Compton OTLW there is a point in between being historically accurate and using completely over the top, cheesy game mechanics and blatantly disregarding history. This game is in the realm of the cheesy spectrum.
ruins immersion though
So is this guy the first Assassin ever? COOL!
Red Devil Yes, but Altair is the original
No, Altair was from the first ac, but isn't this guy the creator of the brotherhood?
Red Devil Altair was a legend for restoring the brotherhood whilst this guy was the first assassin and the one that created the brotherhood
This game sounds amazing
Hopefully they improve the combat
Alan Sneider They already have like we saw
Neutral51 i think he means from what we saw in the gameplay
The combat is great
ImaPrettyDuck Yeah i understood that but it was my opinion in pretty simple disguise. Maybe it is sarcasm maybe it is something else.
The problem with gamers.
They never get enough of anything.
A- Man They can never be satisfied. All most of them do is complain
but after 10 games you should expect that old bugs would be fixed and new things implemented. all i see is the same game in new skin
Rusty Dogghammer are you blind? It says that its alpha gameplay, even though it needs to be in beta...wtf ubisoft
Refurbished bow and arrow mechanincs, horseriding and boat mechanics? ARPG elements with new skilltree? The eagle Senu that lets you scout an entire area? Making virtually every structure climeable? FIGHTING A FRICKIN HIPPO UNDERWATER WITH A SPEAR. are you on drugs sir?
we are the ppl who have to buy the fkin game, so we can tell them what we want
Beautiful looking game, first minute in and you can already see the same issues w/ climbing mechanics and combat still has me skeptical. Really curious how this will turn out for Ubisoft come this fall
Adonis Pacheco it probably end with us being pissed off a Ubisoft and then the whole AC community just abandons the series due Ubisofts half assed effort on games
Adonis Pacheco alha footage
4:25-4:40 Anyone else noticed that David Blaine levitation trick?
Rice Dumb sswerds
How the hell is he climbing the rocks when there is nothing to hold on to????
MAGIC !!!
NoobyDo A L F A
NoobyDo botw did why AC not? can be a good game :) im waiting for
The developer explained that he puts his hand into holes and crevices that you don't necessarily see.
Bodyslammingpixels Yes I have heard of rock climbing and have seen it, but you on the other hand only have heard of it I suppose.
I see Ubisoft's drone fetish has become so great that they've reskinned it as a bird and called it eagle vision just to have an excuse to show off the landscape.
Of course, we will have people who nitpick the hell out of the game when it isn't even out yet.
10:10
jumps into water, no sound
18:11
the boy stands up ALL OF A SUDDEN
Come on...
They need to add much much more things to make the game feels complete
ALPHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Edo Fluit 2 YEEEEEAAAARSSS OFFFFFFFF DEEEEEEEEVEEEEEELOOOOOPMENT
JOHN.T i wanna see how long it takes you to develop the perfect game fuckwad.
IT'S ONLY THE ALPHA BUILD FFS IS EVERYONE SO DUMB THAT THEY CAN'T REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD
JOHN.T EAAAAAARLYYYYYY GAAAAAAMEEEEPLAAAAAAAAY MOOOOOOOOREEEEEE INNN OCTOOOOOOOBEEEEEEERRRRRR
A Aztec Assassin would be nice
This assassin is the most lethal.... no sound when running :P
like the concept, but the engine looks dated - Assassin's Creed Unity engine looked beautiful (lighting etc.) despite the game being buggy.
Adam S same engine man
Adam S unity looked worse than black flag on my PS4 and 4K for the most part
Adam S This is the same engine. Do you know anything about gamr engines?
Adam S Are you on a phone
Adam Torriani Not the same engine, stupid. Do some research before saying some bulshit. This game uses an upgraded version of the Black Flag engine, which is NOT the same engine of Unity.
Came here to see people complain in the comment section. I guess people can time travel because they like to criticize when games are first revealed.
That moment when he passes throw the mountain , you know it's an ubisoft game
looks like they took some inspiration from breath of the wild with the climbing and picking up items
For all people complaining, this is an alpha gameplay.
It's funny how you imply that Ubisoft will change anything at release
Cloud Dude...Its Ubisoft...
TheCrimsonFuckr they won't change everything, but they'll fix bugs, and it'll be more fluid
Open world gameplay is so much better than the alpha gameplay footage.
