MY MEDICAL ISSUES. I have POTS Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a condition that affects the autonomic nervous system (including my heart) and causes me to faint among other symptoms. It comes from EDS Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Among other medical issues. I do have PTSD as well from childhood sexual assault that lasted over 10 years. But my fainting is related to my POTS and I can faint anytime, anywhere that I have been standing or walking too long. Basically my heart doesn't pump my blood right and it pools in my legs and I pass out.

I used to work in an old store where if the weather was bad everything including lights would go off then take 10 minutes to reboot.

Ironically got suggested this video when my campus has just had 3 power cuts and I can't sleep because of anxiety over the power cuts
I was in the shop the other day when this mum is chasing her son who's running towards me and my service dog, Poppy, she jumps in front of her son and this is what I heard...
Lady:Liam, you can't touch that dog...
Liam:Why?
Lady:Because that's a special dog that helps people and if you touch her then you distract her so she can't help her owner.
Liam:Ok, fine.
She apologised and walked off.
More people need to do that, that is the perfect response
I once distracted a service dog by accident, I apologize to the owner, the didn't get mad, he just smiled because he knew I didn't do it on purpose. The dog was wearing a vest that reads " service dog: please don't distract me because I am working.

no it is not custom it was a used one form a friend
no, Max does not pull the chair, this might be something she is training him on for the future but he does not pull it. She got it so she is less likely to faint

I would probably have a mental break down if I were in the stores bathrooms and the power went out. It's so freaky I can't think of words to describe that feeling.

After watching a few of your vids I have learned not to mess with a service animal and I am 13. I went to the mall with a few of my friends and all of them were looking at a service dog. They were being distracting it and being vary rude. I told them not to mess with it and it can be dangerous. The person who had the service dog heard me and mouthed "thank you" to me. I just smiled back.

What I just noticed here when the power went out is theirs no emergency lights that kicked on! That would have been hard for you to see if you didn’t have your phone flashlight with you

Many years ago, I was at my local Department of Family Services. I’d just sat down , beginning the interview, and the worker inputting my info. When the storm sirens start going off, you could hear the rain on the roof and the lights flickering off. They moved everybody into the back offices just when the power went out completely. A lot of people crammed into 2 small offices, DFS workers, clients, like myself, and a whole bunch of people that were having their court supervised visitations with their kids in 2 small offices with no lights & no air conditioning. Power was off for 45 minutes. Turned out we were in the path of F2 tornado, but it died out before it got to where we were. It did take out a entire Furniture Row strip mall, fortunately, no one was hurt

When I was at my house the power went went off
Either a transformer crapped out somewhere on the line or there was a surge that tripped a recloser yeah that will take a bit to get that power back on. Find the fault, fix the fault, reset the recloser usually takes 1 - 8 hours.

You are strong and also it annoys me when people keep wanting to pet your dog. Ignore the dig it's working would u like it if someone bothered you while you were at work so they need to think twice before doing that. And I would expect kids doing that but adults? That's just messed up. Anyways your killing it keep up the good work.

Does anyone have tips for handling anxiety while working like social anxiety without a service or therapy animal. I don't qualify because of my other dogs.
Ryder Putman therapy dogs are very different than service dogs I suggest you look up the difference between the 3 types of animals. But to answer your question try oils like lavender
Mady Guyett I know the difference. But I can't own either due to my 2 other dogs. (They're not very theraputic) I have a cat I trained but never got certified.
Ryder Putman cats can be emotional support animals but they cannot be service animals, the only animals covered under the ADA are dogs and miniature horses. Theres also no certification process for any service animal. In some county’s you can say that your dog is used for service but it’s not required and does not actually make them a service dog, training does.
I would recomend a fidget cube (NOT a spinner). A fidget cude fits easily in your pocket and may help in cases of extreme anxiety. It use to help me before mine was stolem.

I remember being 4 or 5 years old and going to a mall where we used to go every month to eat some Mcdonalds, we were eating at a zone that had Mcdonalds,a cinema,and a arcade place. After 10 minutes the power went out and i was really scared since i was a kid, We were so close to the exit door but the power went out at night so i thought the sun dissapeared then i panicked even more lol
I can releate to the pots and Eds hypermobility. It makes things hard and im glad your pushing through. Im only a teenager and it makes thinga hard with school. Kids just dont understand the extend and aome think its a joke.
