I just love Louisvilles I drove 5 or 6 off them over a few years most of them had a 903 with a RR gearbox , One of my Favorite trucks I'm 71 now so those days are over but I still love to drive
My daddy put the doors on many of those big Fords as he worked on the assembly line at the Kentucky Truck Plant throughout the 1970s!! I love those big busters!
Handsome Old Brutes , aren't they . A VERY good looking design . Inexpensive as well . Nick-named " Loosely builts " , for good reason . They were all a little wandery . Not dangerously so . You DID have to DRIVE them . Possibly a Good thing . Love these old girls . I would buy one , Assuming I could FIND one , in a heartbeat . Then retro-fit some modern stuff underneath .
This is by far, the best compilation video honoring the heavy Ford trucks. My favorite semis!
I drove a L model for a couple of years, it was a good truck except for the suspension, loved the dash
