Darling Jael, your videos have inspired me and my family to move to our village home( although it's not really far from town, like 20 mins away but the serene environment is just amazing). Planning to do some very big projects here and my biggest inspiration is God and you so thank you lovely. And i also love how well you capture nature, your videos are so relaxing.
Jael, you cleaned the fish so well, and the way you have prepared it, has made me salivate. I can eat fish prepared by you over and over again coz you cleaned it thoroughly ❤

Thanks Jael for your very nicely shot videos. Am always intrigued by how you manage to capture birds, bees, and nature. I have always dreamt of living in the country side and watching your Chanel helps keep that dream alive ❤
We remove the gills altogether. My mother used to always make a stew with some of the fried fish. She used sour oranges or limes to wash the fish, then seasoned them with salt and pepper. Then she dried them, dipped them in a little flour and fried them.
I came across your channel and i must say i have watched almost all your videos from the city to your home village i have really like them am a new subscriber and happy to be here i really enjoyed watching.
Such a delicious meal. Sorry you can't eat Collard Greens at this time. They are my favorite and yours looked delicious. The whole meal looked delicious 😊
Jael, why should the fish be expensive at the source than Nairobi, I wonder? How has the spread of hyacinth affected fish production in HBC and neighbouring countries? Any idea? In Thailand, there is a company that has converted hyacinth into organic fertilizer. Is this something that can be done in Homa Bay ?
That's awesome. I heard about the hyacinth being converted to fertiliser here too. Not sure if it's real. I think most of the fish are taken to Nairobi thereby creating a shortage here.
fish looks crispy and yummy, a good combination with fried chips with salt and vinegar.Jael can you please update us on the detox. Would like to know how your energy levels are coping.
Ooowee. I've been waiting to go to the market again with you. We had a lovely outing. Thank you. Hahaha. In my neighborhood, I am known as the hermit. Really??? I just enjoy the company of myself and my children when they visit. I don't enjoy the gossip - which is why I don't welcome some visitors. Serenity and peace of mind is priceless to me. This is another reason I enjoy your channel so much. Bless you Jael.
Imagine this Christmas 🎄 I'll be in Kendu-bay to spend time with a certain old mama who used to take care of us while in primary school. She was a house mother (matron) in the dormitory I used to stay. She really contributed alot to be the person I am today as she used to wake us up early for dawn studies. 19 years since we saw each other last 😅

Bonjour Jael. Thank you for showing how to clean fish well. The garden looks so beautiful.

This market reminds me of my childhood , sometimes we took maize for exchange of sweet potatoes, kisii and luos now coexist so well..
Oh yes
In my country when cleaning the fresh fish,we normally remove the gills out and it's a must
We eat the gills, the reason we have to clean it thoroughly
