No member of flag smashers should be able to beat post serum John Walker in a hand to hand combat if John just keeps his mind cool because John was the most decorated soldier & perfect human specimen even before taking the serum.
@@Trigger0221 In the comics he's Superhuman. The Serum Rogers took made him peak human in everything. Something possible in the comics verse by someone with proper nutrition and exercise. The Flagsmashers have the same serum that lowers the gap in speed/strength and they have the same durability. One on one, he shouldn't be able to take each one and win most fights. @VladimirMiyazaki well he's the most decorated SOLDIER so he's the best in that one category, but you're right about the facy that he shldnt be taking hits from karli(?) like that. In this fight he was driven by rage and doesnt even fight properly. He just charges in swinging with no defense
I remember someone arguing at the time because they don't like John that Steve was better because he held the helo but I argued that upward force of a helo was less weight than the downward force of an armored truck falling. Obviously John and Steve are different people but I still give John credit when credit is due.
@@AaronPaulIbarrola You need to account for other stuff like how Walker was pulling with all his body strength compared to Stever who could barely use his upper body and technically was pulling it down with one hand with the other just trying to stop the helicopter from flying off(which is still pulling of course). I love the fear in the Flagsmashers' eyes when they see Bucky coming at them, it's a shame it's cut out here. The fight in Latvia really showed how outclassed they were against him, and he was still seriously holding back at that point. I think deer-in-headlights guy is the idiot who tried to engage him in a knife fight. Dude was having a PTSD attack seeing that bike coming straight at him. It's also interesting how this scene calls back to the first time Karli and Bucky met, when he thought she was a hostage and tried to rescue her. Now, Karli knows she can use Bucky's good intentions against him, first with the phone call to distract him, and then by endangering the hostages. Heroes are inherently predictable, precisely because they're heroes; saving people will always be their priority. Morally grey, wildcard characters like Zemo or Walker are much harder to plan for or anticipate, but Karli really didn't seem too worried about tackling Walker head on, even though he straight up killed one of them. If anything she looked eager, whereas she really tried to avoid having to fight Bucky. When she did try to engage him she didn't land a single blow, whereas he hit her once and she went down hard.
