That’s the best 12th round l have ever seen. Still watching his fights today. Now that is what you call boxing.!!!
The two commentators were excellent and were 20 per cent of the excitement.
Yes but they were Taylor fanboys

the 'im going back to england mom' line is legendary
Can't believe I've only watched this once. What a fight!
When your fighter asks what round it is youre in trouble
I’ve heard fighters that were totally dominating a fight ask that question….

What a second half of the fight from Froch! Tough dude
Brilliant win. By the way, Carl is a Hall of Famer I don't know if he's ever mentioned it.
Froch an absolute worrier. A tough gladiator, well done. 🙏🏻🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I was going to add my comment but those already posted have said it all. A wonderful bout.
I came back to watch this whole fight after Carl got inducted into the HOF today for next year
✌✌✌👌👌👌👌👌
Hall of Fame Carl Froch...Congratulations! 🌎 🇬🇧!
Carl is a Gentleman and gave respect to Jermain in his autobiography.
Proud to have followed the Cobra all around the World. Tremendous. Underrated always - Winner anyways - Yeah.......
He was overrated. Very little skill, fought dirty, had fights fixed for him. Groves was a local duffer that beat the hell out of him, saved by a corrupt referee that had orders to make sure Froch won. Anthony Dirrell beat his ass and they gifted the decision to Froch. He was losing this fight by a lot. Got his ass handed to him by Andre Ward. Took a beating from Kessler. They had to fix a fight for him against a journeyman because they feared he might lose. Froch was stiff, uncoordinated and he had a big ego. Most of the punches he landed were behind the head in a clinch. He never beat a top fighter unless the judges had his back. There was a few top fighters in the U.K. like Eubank sr., Calzaghe and Lewis. Froch was a bum that was backed up to protect him.

Froch for me was a very underrated boxer. He was hard as fck.
@@markforrest9958 yeah he was tough, he had a real solid chin.
That ending...WOW
I listened to this fight at 3am on the radio, coz we didnt have Sky, and I remember jumping out of my bed, waking my Dad up. Unbelievable stuff. One of my best boxing memories
Loved the commentators journey throughout this fight, Froch was top class.
Froch made a mockery of my predictions fight after fight. Far greater than the sum of his parts Carl Froch. I wish there were more fighters with his mentality to boxing. What a great career
Agreed. Stylistically never looked world class but he always worked so unbelievably hard, also superbly confident
i ll
John Robertson Froch takes to many punches and it is time to hang up his jock strap while he still has his marbles .What good is a title and a belt and being punchy .His trainer told him from the beginning of the fight to hold up hid gloves but he did the opposite ,he was beat to the punch all the time and only because he could take a punch he survived .Froch just Aint world class and never was and the other guy is also finnished .It`s the truth and sad but true .Sometimes ya have to know when to quit
@@igorstein5616 you know both these fighters hung their jockstraps up many years ago. Froch.was definitely world class, he was a world champion fighting the elite, ducking no one.
One of the best 168lbers of all time imo. He beat Jean Pascal in 2008. That's before Bhop beating him around 2013, Kovalev beating him in 2015, and Bivol beating him around 2017 was considered a n accomplishment.
Froch, proper legend!
Froch is underrated, Love his style of Fighting.
Truly a beautiful fight to watch.
Better than the rocky movies to get the heart pumping and the excitement going.
A very good fight. Taylor is winning it.
Great Fight, Froch just never gave up he saw Taylor weaken & just walked him down no panic whatsoever. in the last 2 Rounds Froch was coolness personified
When Taylor asked what round is it at the end of the 9th it was all over
😱
Froch with his hands down coming straight at you is one of the most frightening things I've seen in the ring.
facts. when Froch did that to you, you're fucked already.

Just a hard c*** is Carl. Never the fastest but just ard.
@@SegundoParedes-he9vr😭😭😭
When I need inspiration, I come back to this fight. Double hard bastard is Froch .
Another great British win 🏆 inside an American Ring. 🥊
Carl just tougher with more will power is what that boils down to. That’s Bottle!
Such a great fight...I've watched it so many times...I'm not bias even though I come from Heanor...lol...You always need a good dance partner...so kudos to both fighters...and full respect to both for giving us one of the most entertaining fights and repeatable watches of this century thus far...
Lesson: train your lungs kids. They’re as important as your hand speed, abs and chin.
Now that’s a fight. Classic Froch. The heart of a lion..
God just look at what boxing is producing today?😒
Exactly i'd rather watch bare knuckle than pro boxing nowadays.
These two served up a classic. They both gave there all. What a priviledge it was to watch this live!
Yes they did
Froch had that habit which was popular at the time, of boxing with his left hand down by his knees but without the speed or reflexes to get his head out of the way of right hands! How he enjoyed so much success at top level is still beyond me??
@@SupraT-vj1lq Great reply and I agree with everything you say. It was all influenced by Jones and to a slightly lesser extent, Mayweather. Froch may never have been as successful had there been a later Usyk or Lomachenko influence. He certainly would not have been so exciting! It's the same in all sports where a successful individual or team will exert influence over the prevailing style. We have seen this in soccer with National and Club teams impersonating the Spanish Tiki-Taka style characterised by lots of short passes. Personally, I hate to watch it but it will pass out of fashion when other styles prevail.
Just keep thinking about it 😂
Relentless, mentally and physically. You can't win by quitting.
Imagine if Froch had a defence, he'd still be fighting.
What heart froch has the real rocky , Taylor is a warrior respect to both what a boxing match
Speed kills, skills pay bills, but if you can't go twelve, you get Froched!
Great champion Carl „the Cobra“ Froch
What a fantastic 12 th round 🥊🥊🥊
Froch was one of the toughest fighters of his generation, his skills were always overlooked. Fully deserves his place in the hall of the fame.
lol
Lmao Carl Froch is that you!? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
@@johnT906 lol Got to be.
Haha look at the haters 😂
He got spanked untill jermain got sparked 😂
If you know boxing then you saw it coming
Not the slickest boxer thats for sure but just been one tough hard bastard got froch where he needed to get
This fight never gets old!
Very good fight
I remember at the time thinking "Who's that woman shouting GO ON CARL!!" that you can hear throughout, and that is of course the current Mrs Froch. Lovely stuff.
What a fight. I had Carl winning but he didn't leave any room for doubt. Warrior. Respect to Jermain.
FROCH ... YOU ROCK
One of my favourite fights of all time this. A true display of heart and courage and that finish, awesome! 👏🙌
Carl Froch is a good boxer. He demonstrated great skill. But, you can't take away anything from Germaine Taylor. He's a good fighter too!
the only thing that held Jermaine Taylor back for being an undefeated or maybe an all time SMW great is his finishing instincts. he's lack of it. he has the skills to take the title of the greatest super middleweight ever but him not trying to finish the fights he's winning costed him a lot. happened in the Pavlik fight, and happened here as well.
@@eetfuk3571 Jermaine’s greatest downfall was that he loved Little Rock and the hood lifestyle too much. He loved the streets and women and drugs
“Carl froch shocks the boxing world, what a fight!”
Belfast, England? Come on commentators. That’s a rough one to get wrong. Proper rough.
I remember this it was Froch beats up a Crackhead
Rounds 2, 5 and 6 were 'pick 'em' rounds where you could go either way, and round 8 was all Froch unless you overvalue the last 5 or so seconds. I think the judges gave Taylor every one of them. That's why fighting in front of a home crowd is such an advantage.
Personally I had it level after 11, and if it had gone to points I find it hard to find a way to give it to Taylor after the last round knockdown.
There's a home crowd advantage everywhere but by far the worst place to fight is in the U.K. Everyone is very badly full of shit there. Even the commentators are criminally biased. Richie Woodhall should be in prison for his absurd bias. Thery even cheat their own fighters when they go against each other. Take a look at Eubank Jr. against Nick Blackwell. 30 seconds into the telecast and you already knew Blackwell was the biased choice of everyone involved. Eubank jr. was a villain that deserved to be cheated according to their commentary.
Eubank won every round, there wasn't even a close round. Woodhall had the fight about even after the 6th. After it was over he said, 'let's face it, Nick was always in the fight'. He lost 10 rounds in a row, you had to steal a round to give him one. Every fight I've seen the commentators have the Brit up by 4 rounds before the fight begins. Horrible, shameful bias. The U.S. guys are biased for the most part, but it's not on the level of the Brits. I would advise my own fighter to refuse any fight held in the U.K, even if it might slow his career. A decision win has to be very lopsided or they take it every time.
Great fight. Froche got off the floor to win. Froche’ style reminds me a bit of Marciano, the way he crab walks in and keeps his chin tucked behind he shoulder. Of course he doesn’t have Marciano’s power.
Frock is better than Marciano and faced far better stiffer opposition and better quality opposition that were not old men old champions with records of large losses
I think Froche uses the "cobra" like Tommy Hearns. Froche also carries his arms like Hearns.
The title of the video says Froch yet in this comment and replies we have Froche 3 times and even a Frock.....FML

Wow nice fight good
" Belfast, England " Oh dear.
Que buena pelea, realmente vibrante !!🥊🥊
All the pissed off Americans in the crowd 😂😂😂
thanks
Amazing fights..in the end.
All I heard is Taylor from the broadcasters until LOL …..
Karl Froch was always greatly underrated I loved his tough telephone booth-type brawler who just would not quit and was always coming forward, very hard to beat, and always in shape. This is one testament of his endurance and will to win. Very good fight.
Karl Marx?
Carl Froch has a chuck Noris chin, this guy walks through punches 👊🏼
He did get dropped though ...first time ever 😮
Wow what a great boxer he is Carl
Froch is a warrior.
Taylor clearly the better skilled. Froch just had his number, respect to the commitment and sacrifice Froch must have put in on training.
Brilliant fight.
A less intelligent fighter wouldn't have finished Taylor in the 12th.
Carl Froch was so cold and clinical the way he used that last 60 seconds, like he had all the time in the world.
It was like watching a T1000 Terminator, just walking his victim down.
Boy! Can Froch dig deep?
Ran out of gas🤔🤣KING COBRA kicked hiss ass💯👊🏻
Classic fight 🥊
Amazing!
What a fight and what a 12th round, froch a legend of the game and a true true warrior 👊👌👍👍👍
Would of liked to of seen Joe Calzaghe v Carl the Cobra Froch would have been epic similar to Benn v Eubank
I like Froch but the only way he beats Calzaghe is if Joe gets absurdly careless or they box under 19th century rules and JC taps out at the end of the 118th round while Froch is still warming up.
Peak Calzaghe beats peak Froch. Calzaghe too relentless and Froch too open.
Literally looked like a windmill during the last 10 seconds on the fight
Great fight. Carl has a great chin..
Cracking fight. Both fighters gave their all.
It was great watching him beat him into oblivion in the 12th 👏🏿🔥
Taylor was a much better boxer, but the announcers nailed it at the beginning - he ran out of gas. Good stoppage.
ก็นภ
better boxer? really? for a half fight you"re right. the problem is, to be champion you have to fight 12 rounds so...
He was the better boxer just not the better fighter
Belfast, England????????
Wow, Taylor (in my opinion) lost this fight in the third round. Knowing his best self is always in the first half and not capitalizing on having Froch hurt was his biggest mistake.
Brilliant Charly Froche !!
Great fight
Good fighter. As an Arthur Abraham fan, I was very disappointed when Froch beat him in Helsinki in the Super Six Classic fight. Watched the whole fight live from the ringside. Hell of a fighter. Like his mentality with comebacks.
Rare Al Haymon appearance ringside 👀
UP THE COBRA 🇬🇧. YOU AINT TAKING MY BELT MATE !!!
Pure raw class from Foch
Rockum sockum robots , ether way , all the way !!!!
Froch's finishing instincts are second to none. Taylor, Bute, Groves 1 (Ok the ref helped him there). Behind on points in all, but closes the show.
Our tiny island showed the yanks again!!😂
Love it 😂
Now a days he’s a gentleman. Funny, and throughly decent. Back then, he was a force of nature. One hard b**stard.
carl is the best
Taylor was never the same after never understood why Taylor didn't try to finish froch after the knock down
He’s got a granite chin and made a career off catching people trying to go for him
You could tell Froch wasn't hurt because he wasn't trying to appear less stunned than he was. It was actually good discipline from Taylor to not immediately pounce on him
Taylor wasn't the same fighter after fighting kelly pavlik
Taylor has a passive coach
great finish Froch
It must be so demoralising when you give everything and your opponent is still coming at you.
What a warrior!
Belfast England 🙄
Carl Froch can finish a fight as good as anyone
Carl Froch the pride of Nottingham and also the pride of Britain. They just don't come any better than Froch.
Froch thinks he is Tommy Hearns the "Cobra." Froch carries his arms like Hearns did and Froch also swings that right arm like the "Hitman" did. I enjoyed this fight. I have never seen or heard of either of these two fighters and I think that Taylor was winning. It was a tactical fight.
Taylor's face reminds me of Medrick Taylor. If that is the case, then Meldrick was winning that historic fight against Chavez, and got knocked out in the 12th round just like Jermain got knocked out in the 12th round.
Froch took Taylors mind
Great fighter i only see him once
Pity Taylor didnt follow up more with shots after he knocked Froch down.Froch must have been badly hurt in that round
He is Carl Froch man, you play with the wrong person Jerman Taylor
