@@spider-manman2994 No, because the electrical storm was Dr. Viktor's doing, which it's a teleportation device. The Omnitrix stopped working because Werewolf scratches it, leaving it in-between Active and Capture Mode. That cause Ben turn into Blitzwolfer very slowly.
One thing I always thought when Ben used a stick was how annoying it would be when it broken off and the wood is stuck under the watch

I also thought that when I first saw this air new on tv. I always say everytime I see the scene "But wouldnt the stick that broke off be under his watch now." I guess transforming would've taken it out.

The original watch had protection from possession in the og series but not protection from tampering with the watch
The classic omnitrix also had failsafes against ectoneurites not allowing Ben to be possessed by zy scare and he didn’t try to hack the watch he escaped from it
Also we’ve never seen reboot omnitrix scan new aliens
Pretty sure it traps aliens like in the movie when ghost freak was about to be trapped
Also Ben doesn’t need to scan aliens because he has all of them, but doesn’t have he’s not access to them
Remember that the original in the episode "The Krakken" is used completely underwater
You forgot to include the master control from Classic in the different modes section which is far better than having an Upgrade doing the whole giving the Omnitrix a limited switching to different aliens and rebooting afterward of the Omnitrix in the reboot
The watch in the reboot made a space suit for Ben
@@Radkeyboard7984 True Ben has shown to use different kinds of functions of the Omnitrix by turning the Omnitrix when making Malware self-destruct by overloading him with the Omnitrix which Malware survived
Ben (classic) has the DNA scan mode (DNA Absorb as well since he somehow managed to get back GhostFreak during the whole going to space without GhostFreak touching the watch) which is better than reboot as long as those aliens touch the Omnitrix he gets their DNA
Reboot Ben doesn't get Ghost Freak when the ectonurite touches the Omnitrix
My only problem with the reboot series is that its stuck in 10 aliens only even if there are more DNA pods inside of the omnitrix during Alien Innvervasion movie.
It makes Ben uses limited to his aliens.
Overflow would have been useful during underwater exploration but the plot wont let ben go near water areas.
Or
Ben using Greymatter for brains situation but the plot would rather use more muscle than brains in the scenario.
I have no problems eith wildvine, upgrade and stinkfly being replaced (Reboot stinkfly design is horrible)
I think the reason he looses aliens in reboot is to make room for UAF playlist
Also only thing I like about reboot stinkfly is the colour scheme, it seems similar to animals irl having specific colours to show dangers like snakes and frogs have special patterns to show that they're venomous or poisonous

Honestly, you make some very fine points. However, I'm not too sure about counting the time the faceplate was knocked off because that was due to Ben tampering with and effectively breaking the omnitrix for that episode. Counting that would be like if you were to include the time Kevin and Ben tried hacking the recalibrated omnitrix and then effectively broke it for the rest of Alien Force in a comparison video between it and the OV omnitrix.
Also, Cannonbolt effectively became a replacement for Ghostfreak after Z'Skayr escaped the omnitrix during Ghostfreaked Out since, after that, Ben could not use Ghostfreak again until UA (or OV, if you take the retcon of Ben being scared to use him into account). You also did not mention that Ben did unlock more aliens in the reboot like Shock Rock, Humungosaur, Jetray, Rath, Slapback, and in the movie Ben Ten vs. the Universe, Goop and WayBig, and that even though Ben did unlock more aliens in Classic, he only used 12 or 13 on a somewhat regular basis. Some of them were only ever seen being used by Ben once or twice before Omniverse (Blitzwolfer, Frankenstrike, Snare-Oh, Eye Guy, Ditto, WayBig) whereas in the reboot, Ben makes use of his new aliens as frequently as his original 9 (excluding Upgrade since he is no longer available after season 1)
Your point about the faceplate removal is very valid I never thought of it like that and even though ben got new aliens he effectively lost access to others, when Rath and humungousaur were introduced we never saw greymatter or wildvine again that playlist limit just existing felt like a sort of handicap because it limits versatility
@greymatterfanboy4256 I see your point about the playlist being limited to just 10 throughout the series, and I can concede that it made no sense for there to be a limit in the first place. The only alien we got an explanation for was Upgrade since Ben sacrificed him to upgrade the omnitrix. I think that the hard limit of 10 is just a case where the writers wanted to make things simpler at the cost of certain aliens going MIA after a certain point like Grey Matter and Wildvine.
Even though in the recalibrated Omnitrix it locked his previous 10 aliens he managed to keep some Classic aliens like Diamondhead, Cannonbolt, Way Big, Upchuck and Ghostfreak if you count. And in Ultimate Alien he managed to restore his Wildmutt transformation and getting even an ultimate form like Cannonbolt and Way Big. But strangely how Diamondhead and Four Arms didn't get one.
Also Ben used Upgrade once in the Ben-Generator Rex crossover. However in the intro of Ultimate Alien you could see some of his Classic aliens which never got used, until Omniverse.
@HeroManNick132 the problem with bringing up Heroes United is that it isn't canon, so if we're only looking at the canon of the series, then Ben never used Upgrade again until Omniverse. Same could be said for the Anur System aliens (excluding Ghostfreak since he was used in The Ultimate Sacrifice).

Little bit off topic but if we do end up getting more Ben 10 Reboot, then I want to see more of the shortcut, and DNA absorb feature.
We all love the classic but the reboot introduced some new features we didnt have and i like that they even made kevin elleven and i do like the reboot no matter what but i prefer the classic by alot

haven’t really caught up with the reboot omnitrix but i know ben gets more aliens than he does without the reboot.
I need to watch the entirety of it, it had its Gems but he definitely did get more aliens in classic

From what I remember in that bad weather episode it was something about electromagnetic fields not just weather since reboot Ben has a trio of evil robot villains that can control weather and Ben didn't have that problem with weather excluding that one episodes(yes I did watch the reboot since I was around 10 at the time it came out)

@@greymatterfanboy4256 yeah it would take a alot of convincing to work and personally I think the reboot Omnitrix could also unlock alien x with shortcut mode cuz you might never know it could be in there but there's gonna be the same problem so recalibrated Omnitrix vs current reboot Omnitrix I'd say reboot since of the armor and if possible imagine an enhanced four arms with omni-kix or homungasour with enhanced and omni-kix

The thing is that the reboot omnitrix is for sure build to upgrade while the classic needs some time to upgrade the reboot doesn't since it has upgrade in the episode of omnitrick but i think 2 more things and that's if ben from classic could also enter the omnitrix like reboot ben did

I got to give it to the classic. And I'm not claiming its superior to the reboot Omnitrix, the both have some interesting functions. But the reboot's shutting down in the rain is a huge deal breaker.
the classix omnitrix its calibrated to Tennyson DNA wich means no one aside ben gwen or max can use it the reboot one despite being calibrated anyone can use it even a squirrel and billy billons + the reboot one never shown an actual proper failsafe or energy wave the closest one was the time the ecto nurite touch it and it didnt create a energy wave enough to send others away and even vilgax touch it several times without creating a energy wave and the wrost thing....THAT FAILSAFE RELEASE WHY!? I'D SAY WHYYYY why a device so powerfull would have a failsafe release imagine if the watch fells in wrong hands because instead of a energy wave just releases from the wrist of the user, and the fact having more than 10 aliens creates glitches and limits the variety and you can only unlock temporally aliens and if you put a code bad you will either something not useful

In my case if you think about it you can switch alien pods in the reboot meaning in a way reboot ben actually has access to more aliens but doesn't use them.Another thing is the fact that in alien x tinction ben was saved by the omnitrix from evil alien x by opening up so ben dosent injure his arm and we saw earlier how another ben had his arm injured.

The classic on it fix is better because the reboot watch did not unlock on it enhanced that came from shock rock's DNA leaking and because it could leak DNA and the classic watch can't proves that classic watch is better

I liked Ben 10 until Ben 10 Ultimate Alien, after that it got bad. I didn't like how the characters and the world looked in the Omniverse, ... I only saw a few episodes and gave up. As for the reboot i didn't bother to watch.

I think they should've put him between humanoid and bug like

I'd keep the wing shape from reboot, add the stinger from classic(add venom), make his arms like a mantis and add the extra 4 legs from a wasp, his head shape will be a mix with the mouth being like classic and his eye shape from reboot but the only function they serve will be slime shooters, give him bushier antennas to see like how wildmutt can't see normally but can sense.
His color palette would be a mix between reboot and ben 23 with the lighter blue excreting a pitrid gas that can choke species for a few moments to escape or attack.
So his stance would be a mantis when fighting

@@JayRedGear I use the reboot to fill plot holes in the os so the robots ripjaws easily destroyed might be made of the glass like material the robots are and that’s why it isn’t destroyed from the pressure

i would pick reboot omnitrix becouse actually it doesnt have only 10 alien slots ben had gax which was 11 alien so he can have more and you can unlock new aliens when ever and sometimes it will unlock new ones with out your choice yeah it has gliches but still you can upgrade omnitrix with upgrade and its fixed and mabey acess master control with comads since it has display
