HOW TO MAKE AMAZING ICED COCOA - PERFECT FOR HOME OR BUSINESS

Поділитися
Вставка
  • Опубліковано 17 сер 2024
  • RECIPES:
    Sticky Chocolate Mix
    100% Cocoa Powder 70-75g
    Hot Water 30--45ml
    Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 can = 370-388g
    Evaporated Milk 30-45ml
    RECIPES 32OZ CUPS:
    Crushed Ice
    Evaporated Milk 120-150ml
    Sticky Chocolate 1 cup 240-250g
    RECIPES 16OZ CUPS:
    Crushed Ice
    Evaporated Milk 60-75ml
    Sticky Chocolate 1/2 cup 120-125g
    FOR BUSINESS:
If you would like to sell more cups per day, I would suggest make the price competitive.
My SRP for 32oz (1 Litre)
    for Thailand = 60 Baht
for Philippines = 79-99 pesos depending on the brand of chocolate and milk used
    My SRP for 16oz (500ml)
    for Thailand = 40 Baht
for Philippines = 49-59 pesos depending on the brand of chocolate and milk used
FOR THE PHILIPPINES, HERE ARE MY RECOMMENDED INGREDIENTS
For Dark Chocolate Powder (100% Cocoa Powder) used in this video clip, I would strongly recommend my blend of Premium Dutch Chocolate powder:
    Shopee Philippines bit.ly/37nvgFG
DO NOT SKIMP ON THE COCOA POWDER. THIS IS CRITICAL TO THE TASTE & TEXTURE
For condensed and evaporated milk, I would recommend Carnation for premium ones but brands like Angel, F&N and Bravo would also be good. Other brands taste TOO much of condensed milk.
For Litro cups (32oz) Available in the Philippines only - please. contact us on our FB page. Happy to share our cups without the required minimum order quantity. Starting order quantity at 50 cups with lids.

YUM! I made it vegan style using sweetened condensed and evaporated coconut milk. So good! Now I understand the importance of CRUSHED ice. I didn't have crushed ice and I tried to make my own with a hammer, but that failed. So I used regular ice cubes (all I had). All the chocolate rolled right off and sank immediately to the bottom! Still good but not as lovely. Next time will buy crushed ice for sure!

Sorry someone you know at 65 years old cannot stir this yummy mixture! My Mom is 90 years old and takes care of my Dad by driving them to store an apts, cooking, cleaning etc. I am her Daughter at 68 years old and do the same for my hardworking Husband 74! He drives a tractor and cuts trees with a chain saw still! He had been a firefighter in the US Air Force.
As we grew up in the USA ny Parents had 3 businesses at one time! Letting Cousins drive their milk truck, my then Friends work at the 24 hour gas station they managed where I sometimes pumped gas and cleaned restrooms, but mainly babysat and cooked for them at home. My Dad started these 2 other businesses while laid off from a local chemical plant where eventually he was called back to work and retired and invested well too!
I wish we had known about this delicious drink then to sell customers. I remember we had a water fountain and soda machine only. *But, we could not drink ourselves as too much sugar! Very healthy to live to 90 plus if we watch diet. I know how to make this drink LOW CARB! I would make keto condensed milk and use cream over ice with Stevia sweeteners!* 😋 THANK YOU

What an amazing story! I would love to meet your family. Agree staying healthy is the key. With regard to my video, I think you might have misinterpreted what I said. I did say I was amazed by how 'grandma' the 65 year old lady that make this drink and made it a bestseller in Thailand is making them almost effortlessly whilst I struggle! So yes, I am all for strength and stamina as one gets old. Age is just a number. If you have not yet seen this video of the original 'Grandma' that's been making these drinks for the last 40 years, please do check it out. Love to you and family! ua-cam.com/video/v8UvNXt21eE/v-deo.html

Thank you so much for sharing this idea! I do have a question... after making these drinks do you suggest anything to add to it after for additional options. Like cinnamon, nutmeg, etc? Or blending options like vanilla syrup or other flavors?
The drink is amazing on its own, but I'm curious if you've tried any other "inhancers" or would you suggest anything else you've tried with it for a different option?

They loved the drink however, with the condensed milk cost of at least $2.00 and the evaporated milk at just under $2, the cup 5 cents, chocolate powder 15 cents. Hello Chao…
I want to start by thanking you for finding & sending me that Aladdin Moka pot with that pretty gold trimming. I have a few questions about this decedent drink. As for myself evaporated milk might be to rich for me so can I use plant based milk? Second since I have Hersheys Cocao Powder on hand can I use this & is it pure cocoa powder?
If I enjoy this drink a lot I may want to sell this drink in my sister & brother in law restaurant when they get it up & running if they allow me. This looks like a seasonal drink ( or I could be wrong). If I have their blessing to do this I would like to give out samples first. What size cup would you recommend? Nothing too big or too small. Thank You…

    • @rizasri
      @rizasri  2 роки тому +14

Hello Amanda. Any milk will work and hersheys cocoa is perfectly fine although it’s not so dark. For commercial purposes I would suggest to go dark chocolate, full cream milk and at least 16oz cups. Chocolate drinks are not really seasonal. I dare say they are all time favourites All the best!

Did not work out well for me, probably because of my cocoa powder.
These are the ingredients I used:
    -Alpine evaporated full cream milk
    -Ricoa Cocoa Powder
    -Carnation Condensed Milk
The end result was that it tasted more like milk at the start and can barely taste the chocolate, even when I tried to sip from the choco topping. After I started mixing the drink, I could finally start to taste a bit of the chocolate, but the milk taste was still overpowering it (almost tastes similar to champorado).
Is Milo or Cadburry drinking chocolate a good alternative? as I did not get a good result with Ricoa.

Be careful with the crushed ice and keep your ice machine and water very very clean as a street vendor, especially in high heat. You will immediately close business when customers get sick. Other than that I hope you will have great success! ♥️
And get yourself a seamless silicone spatula if you can, maybe in two sizes, easier for stirring and you will get every last bit out of the pot. Waste of ingredients is loss of profit.
Last tip: get your customers straws with a spoon at the bottom, they will love it. :)

A FYI for anyone in the US, you are required by law to have a Peddlers license and a Food Handlers license and let's not not forget you have to pay taxes. Of course all this is dependent on where you live in the US so check your local area.

@@rizasri And I'm being sincere. There are lots of world class, high end places here in south Florida. People easily pay $10 or $15 for a smoothie, this would be in that category, for those who just want their creamy, dreamy chocolate. For example, Johannes' Joe in West Palm Beach could get $10 easy for it. People would but it without blinking, as long as it's good quality. It looks really special. I'll try to make one sometime for fun:) Blessings.
