- Mark "The Beast" Labbett, literally wastes no time in making his mark on Australia, setting the world record for the fastest Final Chase ever.

Somebody got 7 on the UK version yesterday. It took Shaun 53 SECONDS to catch that!
+RockBandAddict666 Yeah generally you need about 20 though if you're to stand a chance of beating them.
+RockBandAddict666 I've asked Shaun on Twitter if he's ever got one wrong on purpose and he rigorously denied it, but I know he has
On the UK celebrity special it took Ann 1 minute and 1 second to catch 2 people with 7 steps.
+Ben Farmer-Webb They all deny it, but you can just tell they don't try as hard on the celeb ones and purposefully throw the odd question.
A while ago it took anne 1 min and around 10 secs to catch 7
Win or lose Mark 'The Beast' Labbett is noticeably more charming and generous these days than he was in the early days of the UK version of the show.
Well I think us brits have the best host
WE Brits!
Yeah
the German host is better in my opinion
@@GordonHugenay Yes, Bommes is the best
I see this comment on every Australian chase vid lol. It almost sounds as if it’s the only things you ‘brits’ are proud about.
As it happens, the Beast has set a new world record today (17th March 2017) - catching a total of only 3 steps in 12 seconds in the UK version. The title has been changed accordingly, and good lord I never thought I'd be typing that. XD
The UK loves Binley Mega Chippy
Another player got 6 on the UK version today. Jenny caught him in 24 seconds equalling this record!
Yeah but 3months ago the beast caught 5 in 16 secs which is nowthe record
Yes but 6 < 7
One of the best final chases ever
Well Janelle can relax. The Beast caught 5 answer in 15 seconds tonight. Newer record broked.
18 seconds
No 3 steps in 12 seconds
@@TSMC879 No 24 seconds
@@tirsiaksmith8139 no
@@TSMC879 Yes, work it out: caught with 1:38 seconds remaining
Looks like Fred Jones is presenting and Velma Dinkley is the contestant
+Johnny Mac lol. Yes! She should have worn an orange top.
That was awesome!
Not the record anymore. Incredibly, someone managed to set a target of 3 which got caught by the beast in 12 seconds.
Honestly, watching that was painful.
Season and episode I'm Australian and i like uk chase better
He really is a great addition to this version! Seems like these days, you just can't have an English-language version of The Chase without The Beast, lol! As he always says for solo players, if they're on their own in the Final Chase and they're a weak player, it's a sure win for the Chasers. On the other hand, if the solo player is a strong player and they're good enough to exploit it, it would probably be the best situation for him or her, meaning that the Chasers would have their work cut out for them.
Mark is my favorite.
Seriously Velma I thought you were smart
I didn't know the beast was in the chase Australia
I didn't know either, have been recording the shows from day one and I haven't seen him on one yet.
+Tidybitz He joined in the second series. His first episode aired in Australia n the 20th February.
+GT Walker ok, thanks.
The beast joined it in january 2016, now he goes back and forth to record the uk and Australia versions of the chase! Must be alot of flights
+roger wilco WE KNOW
The presenter for Australia's The chase isn't as good as Bradley Walsh from The Chase UK.
He's better than the American host. She gets on my nerves.
Ben Farmer-Webb He's not as good as Bradley Walsh though.
+James Bond He is awful. He has annoying hand gestures, annoying fake laugh, tries to pronounce some words, that have foreign origins as if though he was a native of that country but usually fails and just ends up sounding like a pretentious twat, he over emphasises the letter P with every word that ends with the letter P, maybe it's editing, but he doesn't engage with contestants very much or seems disinterested in them completely and did I mention that annoying fake laugh? a-haa haa haa.
+metcard IKR, He was also a pain in the ass in Deal or no deal Australia.
+Ben Farmer-Webb Yeah Brooke Burns was just playing off her Dog Eat Dog persona with this, which obviously didn't work. I got bored really quickly
The question it took the longest was a food question
Hmm.. They used the normal winning music for when he caught her. 🤔
They always use that on The Chase Australia. It’s really weird
He caught a 5 in 18 seconds last year on this version. I bet he' like to meet the chaser from Croatia who couldn't catch that in the 2:00 he was allotted.
It is fast, but those
question were really, really, easy
When she txts you back 1:16
1:09 Nintendo And Pokemon Question
7 steps, It is tough on your own.
One Thursday (aka disaster day) later in 2016 Mark wiped off a contestant with 5 steps in 15 seconds.

OUH it's not more the fastest Final Chase. Today in The German Version of this Show, a chaser had won a final with 1:41 left!
If only the Us get the music
Yeah GSN ruined it with the wrong music cues and sound effects -_-
+cutemimi25 but they decided to use that piece of music!
Hopeplays' Best Channel Like what Dwayne Johnson "aka The Rock" says in The Rundown, "wrong choice"
But they didnt use the same music as the uk and australia, they used crapper ones! They never used any music or sound effects like this
i dont understand why US adaptations of international game shows allways change soundtrack, set design, graphics and even gameplay elements.
I hate that the Chase Australia uses the Win music when the chaser catches the team at the end instead of the lose music
omg your chase has so easy questions
Chase Peppa Pig Peppa Pig
7 is okay for an Aussie
I like this version of the show, but they're not actually pushing the boat out with prize money are they. I watched an episode last week when a contestant got $6000 in the cash builder and the chaser only offered $10,000 for the top offer. They've done this sort of thing a few times, doesn't really encourage contestants to go higher, which makes it a little less exciting. I don't think they've ever gone above 45-50,000 during the series so far, and Anne seems to offer the most if I remember correctly.
They did the same type of thing in the early seasons of the U.K. Version. Once the show got more popular (and thus, got more sponsors), they could afford to offer more money.
+Brian Nieves ... ok Brian, that's understandable. I do hope it takes off in Australia.
I think Anne offered $86,000 one time
Thats probably because australians ars harsh? Anne offers the Most and shes british! The highest offered in uk is £101,000 and also £100,000 has been offered 4-5 times on the uk and the australian can only go up to like $90,000. I should be the other way round because british pounds are worth more than australian dollars
Brian, on the first ever episode, for the 4th person they offered £50,000 which is quite good
Is it in the same place why is that Australian there
Different version, different country, different studio. Mark is just part of the Australian lineup as well as the UK and US lineup. Though he hasn’t appeared once in S10 yet - probably because of that well-known *thing* hindering his ability to get an Australian travel visa…
The Beast was wrong, the world record was in Croatia when a late chaser caught 3 steps in 1:42.

Bullshit to easy it's only 7 Questions duh
The first thing I did was the same for me.This I have no doubt the chase will not be the same thing as I am in the world for my first year and my husband has left my son in their first place to be a baby girl I love her because she's been in love and the baby will always love you so I love the idea and she will always make it look so beautiful as you are so beautiful in her eyes you will have a lot more than you will ever see you kindly see your child as the first time a woman in their first pregnancy 8888 day of a pregnancy is not just about the 8 month but also their 5 month long pregnancy is the beast and 5th birthday party for a long weekend and is not just a great leader for the family and the family and family but it also has leftover users tom haven took to it all in a country where the most important part is a new one and the way we are to get a good night's attention is the 5th beast and we will see how the 55feet can play in this country with an 0 wait staff for my family members 0000in or my son in order that he has done in 0 the world of the world of the world of and the world of the world that he will never know what the chase will have and he can make his hands more like.
