Grunge, Turpentine and Oil in Procreate 4 - Portrait of Phil Doleman

In this Oil painting portrait I expand my range of brushes by one and introduce the 'Grunge' brush. I feel by keeping to very few brushes and exploring them fully before adding others I really get to know each tool and feel confident when selecting a brush for a particular task. This is a portrait of Phil Doleman, a well known Ukulele player from the UK. He is an excellent performer and entertainer. You can find links to his UA-cam channel and website below. So you aren't putting your photo in procreate on a different layer to reference. You are using a different app and using split screen?

Hi Melisa, thanks. I think this one was 24” x 18” at 300dpi. That does restrict the number of layers available in Procreate, but that’s not a problem for me
