I have to say, you should be very impressed as to how strong a defense Na'Ba is still able to put up despite all the losses he's taken and how early in the game it still is.
@LucidTactics I used to play multiplayer in Dom 5, but it has been years. It is great that the servers are so much easier than the old email based systems. I'll be sure to check it out.
There is a certain irony of Na'ba dying to an undead nation after going to war with THE anti-undead nation (Marignon), would've been cool to see some fights with those angels vs the furies
Mental notes: 1. Do Not engage Lucid in a diagonal war. 2. Tell Lucid that other players are planning diagonal wars to demonize them. 😏 I'm a little surprised that the saggitarian carcass sacreds are considered disposable. They are a excellent defensive unit to protect stationary casters like skellyspamers. Staying still for 10 turns while shooting is really good for buffs. The main problem is when you include too much chaff the fight is mostly decided before the saggitarians engage in melee. Their bows are ineffective. So i think their niche use is with armies that have a lot of mages and bodyguards to HP anchor the backline. When you want the fight to go long with foul vapours, rigor mortis, howl and skellyspam. The black centaurs and carrion furies are for when you want to have a fast and decisive battle that you win with troops causing damage.
the bows are under-rated, they are surprisingly good at popping mistform, or killing ethereal units since its a magical weapon. And aiming them at archers is great too, the carrion effect spawns enemies in the backline and often you can get some silly mage kills from a lucky backline arrow.
@moleman7632 they are very cool, and I had forgotten they are magic damage. The problem is the damage is low, and there are a lot of spells that protect vs ranged damage. It looks like you get a lot more sacred archers in 6 though. Maybe if you can buff them with aim and poison+flaming arrows they could do well. Quickness too.
They have low protection so counter archery fire is a big concern especially if an enemy uses fire archers scripting. It can be tricky to fix that weakness as well without a heavy commitment from Asphodel's magic diversity. Oaken Army lowers their Fire Resist on this Asphodel's bless to 5 making them much more vulnerable to the fire evocations and even Fire Storm. It's not just archery that can expose this as well. Our Rain of Stones magic phase attack was also meant to take advantage as well. You also already alluded to Storm and Arrow Fend as well for negating a lot of their impact. So no, they aren't a bad sacred, but for me personally I think I'd still prefer Black Minotaur/Centaur and Furies for delivering killing blows to an enemy army on their cap since a big hole for manikins is punching through a line of sacreds, and the other 3 variants of sacreds are great for that. I wouldn't consider them disposable though. They have all the uses you already mentioned.

Mabey illwinter realized solar brilliance wasn't an anti undead spell. It was a Pan can grief everyone else spell.
Im really enjoying these. Always nice to see people playing Dom6 to get ideas for when i have time to get into multiplayer
Yeah that's awesome. If you're thinking of getting into multiplayer, I've got a discord you can join to find folks who play.

They weren't bordering each soo
But yeah it wouldd have been cool
And a much better ally
Big evocations really look way cooler in Dominions 6. All the fires falling from the sky are awesome!

Lucid mentioning:
1) Love for the Undead. Check.
2) Hatred for Diagonal War. Check.
3) Karma. Check.
Great series so far!
Should be "Major Nabatean Victory" - now, initial pedantry out of the way, let's go see how the hellwar against asphodel goes...
