i haven't watch the entire video but my opinion is that this is the reason why you need diversity, in schools, and in the workplace. thank god there are more women in tech nowadays but even that is not enough, you also need to make people from different social backgrounds collaborate together to create interesting connections and maybe, who knows, some relationships too. there is nothing more boring for an accountant, to date another accountant, who also happens to have studied at the same university, and lives in the same city, has the same interests.. i would think most people want more excitement in their lives than having a partner who is a literal clone of themselves.
