Good video guys. I’ll be trying some of the tips. And the raised panel door you show is my favorite kind of door. I like raised panel doors! All of our cabinets came with shaker panel style doors and some of the veneer on 2-3 doors has buckled and cracked so that is my excuse to make new raised panel doors. 😊

Great tips, thank you. This was incredibly helpful. I have a family job to make shutters for 5 windows involving 40 units just as you demonstrated. Though I’ve made many units like this in the past, using Titebond 3 glue, toothbrush trick, credit card glue spreader and ½” 23 gauge pins were new to me. Can’t thank you enough for all the tips. Will make my 40 unit build so much easier. Would love to see a follow-up video on how you rout cope and stick on rails and stiles, especially how you avoid tear out on rail stick ends.

Was using pin nailers over 40 years ago to make cope and stick doors. Look at the back of Decorative Specialities doors they all have pins.

For even lower stress, I make the doors +8 mm in height and width, then trim to size. Plus, Milwaukee makes a nice cordless pin nailer😀

Do you not use spacer balls for wood panel doors or did you skip over this for the sake of time?

Make your rails fat and your stiles long. Then trim the doors to size and square in your crosscut sled after the glue is dry. So much easier.

too time consuming for me with all the setups to remove equally all 4 times for each door ... tried it that way many years ago
