Gorgeous photography - the tile roofs look so vivid against the wintery background. I've lived in and around Munich for over 25 years and I've never seen a proper Baumkuchen nor a proper dampfnudel. My experience has been limited to what one finds in the supermarket or lower quality bakeries. I'm quite impressed at the quality of this program.
It does take a bit of courage for donning a hat. We should all add hats back into our wardrobe. Makes for a more interesting and colorful world. 😍 I like the pastries to. Top of the morning to you. 😊😊
Classic German misunderstand of "false friends". Paul is talking about going to a carnival and Falco thinks he's talking about Karneval/Fasching, a catholic holiday that is essentially just a week of debauchery before Lent. No, Falco! Those are not the same things! A carnival = Jahrmarkt

I love Munich, the food, the people and the history. The hat is not you though Paul. Just sayin'.
And if I may say so: traditionally men don't wear hats indoors... just sayin ;-)
