- Stay a while and draw with me! Colored pencils offer me a way of letting loose and drawing for myself while taking a break from client work. Perhaps they offer a similar escape for you? This is my first time attempting a process video so apologies if it's a bit rambly!

Hey love your style is so dope! Your vibe is so soulful!
Thanks so much! Your comment really made my day ❤️
I love watching your process, and so obsessed with how you work with color pencils!!
Ahh, thanks so much for watching, Christina!! 🥺🥰
Your work is soooooo cool. I love how you use the colored pencils. Personally I´ve stopped using mine because I found it stressful. You´ve got me rethinking that now.
Also, I´m DYING for a sketchbook tour! Or two. Or... more. Lots more. Is a tour in the cards?
They can be stressful, all that sharpening! 😂 But I do hope you try it again, everyone's approach is so different!
And yes, once I finish this mini sketchbook a tour is in the works 👀
Hi Kim 😊 - This was so interesting to watch, I love the style and technique of both your illustration/art as well as the video 💖👑
Hi Haseena! Thanks so much for watching, glad to hear you enjoyed it!
aaah this was so good! Better experience than i expected. it became a lesson!!!
Haha, thanks so much, Anthony! Glad you enjoyed it
Your style is giving me a 60s/early 70s vibe and I ❤ it!!! 😍 Your work is really beautiful.
Thanks so much! I love that comparison 💗
Love it! 💚💚💚
Love the colors you use. I got tired of the pencil breaking issue with prismas. I stopped buying them. So many pieces were ruined because of Prismas.
Your style is amazing and the pencil textures look really cool 🥰
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome and relaxing video.
Truly magical.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed watching :)
I had to look up William Morris while watching this. Yes his artwork is mesmerizing! As is yours!
Yeah, his work is lovely!! Thanks!
I love your art! So glad I found your channel! 😍
Thanks so much, I'm glad too!
I love your video! Nice to watch and work on my own painting projects.
I love that! May you have a great painting session :)
Love your style, love seeing seeing work process videos, subscribed

Your style is amazing omg!!
Aw thanks so much!
Gorgeous!
Thank you! Cheers!
Your videos are so soothing to watch
Thanks for watching! :)
🥰🥰🥰love your art
Wow
First of all, I highly enjoy your work! I love the exaggerated features and your colour choices. Very unique!! Secondly - for Prismacolor Premier pencils that keep breaking in a sharpener; the manufacturing process of Prismacolors often leaves the lead off center (you can actually tell by looking at the opposite end!), which makes them very hard to sharpen in traditional sharpeners without breakage!! This is why I switched to hand sharpening with an x-acto. :)
Thank you!! Wow, I've just learned so much!! I have tried the x-acto method for more problematic leads, but I get impatient with how much time it takes lol. I did get the suggestion here of switching to a KUM sharpener and it has really helped a lot too!
@@kesalt Might have to give the KUM sharpener a try! It's a great concept. I guess for me, hand-sharpening is very zen and relaxing! So I quite enjoy it. :)
Looove your vidz!!! I’d love to know how you became a pro illustrator 😊
Aw thank you so much for watching! I'll add it to my list of video ideas!
I am a big fan of your videos
I am waiting for your next video😀😀😀😀
Thanks so much, Alen!
I love your works!! I have a question, is there any reason for using grey colored pencil and not graphite pencil for sketching part??
Personally, I tend to stay away from graphite with colored pencil because lighter colors have picked it up in the past and it had a smearing effect that I didn't like! The grey on the other hand tends to stick pretty well to the page for me and doesn't have the same smear
@kesalt I see! Thank you for your kind reply :) your works are super inspiring even though my personal art style is quite different from yours. I feel lucky to be able to see your creative process. Keep up the good work! 🤩
I watch your video from Bangladesh
How do you send work to clients Dropbox? Email?
For the most part, work gets sent through email - but for larger projects Dropbox is an industry standard. WeTransfer works in a pinch, too!
try polychromos colored pencils from faber castell instead of prismacolors
How adorable!! I am a coloured pencil artist as well, and it's so cool to see how other people tackle Prismacolour
(And tbh, HARD SAME with the sharpener. Other than an exacto knife, I also use a KUM sharpener. One hole sharpens the wood only, the other sharpens the tip. It gets sharp every time, but Prismacolours are also very soft lead which ends up breaking if the lead is broken inside of the wood 😭)
Omg that sharpener always gets me!! Interesting, thanks for that tip - I'll be on the prowl for one of those KUM sharpeners 😤
Home tour please ☺️
It's on my list!
Still waiting on your sticker versions.
Idk about sticker versions, but now that my scanner's set up the prints are coming soon! :)
