Same here! I was so surprised to see that they decided to animate it. It truly is one of the scarier Junji Ito work even though it's extremely short.
FINALLY A MASTERPICE SHALL BE ON NETFLIX
the editing of this was excellent really adds to the intense anxiety and disorientation this anime looks like it will have
best thumbnail ever 🤌
Wow, finally they make animation for almost all of the popular works by Junji Ito, Gyo, Uzumaki, Tomie, etc. I hope it's will live up to the expectations.
Finally we are getting some horror anime 😭 it's one my fav genre in anime i hope Netflix invests more in Japanese horror animes
cant wait to hear the ED for this one, the last one had a really melancholy feel to it and i really liked it
Perhaps it's the music in this trailer.
I find it really difficult, almost impossible actually, to properly adapt Junji Ito's work.
The way he draws and imbues horror into his pages requires such delicate lines and shades that passing it to your typical animation is a work that probably only the man himself can do, as I see it.
I sure hope Uzumaki is able to deliver because it looks like they're going all out on the art.
1:19 this is one of the most messed up manga. The way he take revenge from the girl who used to bully him was just so..sad and terrifying at the same time.
Goosebumps. I've always loved junji ito
Junji Ito's work is legendary & seeing it come to life is scary & awesome!
Seeing these just remind that adult swim's Uzumaki is still in production. Hopefully that's a banger.
YES😭😭😭😭 I've been waiting for the adult swim one for so long
@@MsAnnChannel Is that still going to be a thing? I thought this was that! I don't feel this series, has that JIC vibe to it, misses the mark on the artstyle by a country mile :(
It’s so incredible that we’re getting this series. I own the Junji Ito Collection on Blu-Ray, and I’ve been itching to see more of his tales brought to life in animation.
You genuinly enjoyed the animation?
@@vantom253 i did, so?
@@vantom253 ya not as unsettling as the manga, but a good effort and still entertaining. The type of horror the manga uses is hard to adapt to anime, it sets a high bar but I still really enjoyed it, esp considering it was the first attempt to adapt Ito's work to anime and hadn't the critique to learn from. Remember animating, directing and adapting is a lot of work.
Netflix... what have you done, do you even know what quality control is?
I hope to god that Netflix can do my favorite author justice.
I waited so long for this! Just what i needed. Hope to see more from Tomie
this one better be good because junji ito deserves the praise that his work gets and netflix needs to stay by that
This anime matches with my soul
I'm so glad they kept the group who sang the ending for junji ito's collection, it was my fav ending+ i love them
Bruh, the hanging balloon episode legitimately creeped me out. Some of the episodes are just goofy and not scary at all, but that one got to me. Couldn't stop thinking about how creepy it was.
that episode fucked me up too. i watched it before bed and now i'm terrified i'm going to have an 8 hour nightmare 💀
What do you mean 😭 It made me laugh for several minutes, especially how this one girl died after they deflated her balloon lmao
still waiting for Uzumaki😍😵💫💀 but more souichi is just great🥰
Me too!!
Better than the last attempt at translating his work to anime at least. Some episodes look visually better than others. Part of what makes Ito's stories so disturbing is the detailed art, tension, and body horror which so far i feel like is kind of lost when animated. You turn the page of the book and "boom" you are bombarded with nightmare fuel or something unexpected. Still coll seing alot of these and hope later we get more Tomie and maybe Hellstar Remina. Would love to see the Splatter Film, Sensor, and Lovesick Dead as well. Occult Highschool Transfer is another one i don't see people talk about much that i think would be interesting to see.
Can't wait to see the hanging balloons episode!
Please season 2. I love dark/ horror animes like yamishibai style 😍
The background music 🍷🗿
Fr bro makes me want to thug shake
This is the most well produced trailer I've seen in a while. The suspense and uneasiness were perfectly executed.
Junji Ito stories are so wholesome
why is this so wholesome and calming until the last second
OMG!!! I'm so hyped for this one, I mean, the whole trailer is good but from 1:46 to 2:20 it's just too good, all the scenes mixed with the dialogues and screams background, that craziest atmosphere is lovely!
Let's see what happens with Uzumaki this year! :D
Finally, the time for junji ito to discover and praised by public has come.
tottaly, i agree with that
I am absolutely jamming to the math rock in the background
Oh the hairs at the back of my neck are standing on end... WITH JOY! IT STARTS STREAMING TODAY!
This looks phenomenal can’t wait
I’m familiar with Junji Ito Sensei and most of his works. I saw the 2018 anime the year it came out and I liked it it. I’m excited for this one and to see more Tomie, Souichi and even the Hanging Balloons😊
Historias inesperadas
The world is not ready for animated Junji Ito works. Your shit will be shitting itself in fear.
THEY ANIMATED THE HANDSOME ICE CREAM DUDE. CALM DOWN EVERYONE.
I love how ominously calm this trailer is . CHEAP THRILL!
Happy that jyocho still doing the end ♥️
Oh i though it was uchu conbini
@@jamgaela Bro, it's the same guitarist:)
That was hands down the best song I've ever heard in an anime trailer. Please some one tell me who is was.
this just popped on my feed out of nowhere, I'm a big junji ito fan that i bought all his manga. gonna watch this on stremio rn 🍿
Finally. I've been waiting for this in SUCH A LONG TIME!!
