the art style is not that different, you feel it's better, because it's not made digitally. They used to film cel animations and get more texture out of image that way. And therefore you get organic feel to it.
@@yousinnedfirst8078 I know exactly how I feel and what I look at :). Faces and body shapes of characters are different in new series. Even shadows, colorgdading and contrasts was changed. Moreover computer generated background and fancy blurs looks terrible imo. And the last nice looking film in this universe was made in 1995. Sure, you can call me boomer :).

What you’re seeing there is the difference between hand drawn anime and digitally drawn anime with computer generated imagery enhancements. Sometimes it’s needed in this day and age as hand drawing takes a lot of time and a lot of mistakes can be made and it can strain your hands a lot drawing for that long. I dabble a little in art in my spare time and these are things that I experience quite a lot when I’m drawing.

Man I actually loved this game, if I had a PS1 still I’d literally load this game up again. There was something so fun about learning and experiments combos and attacks. The game was just so retro to me, the soundtracks were awesome too. Pure nostalgia 😌

It plays a lot like Super Butoden 3 in my opinion. I think it had more to do with the effects and feel that turned most people off from the game. But I actually enjoyed the Samurai Shodown style camera. I have a complicated relationship with this game. Shin Butoden was a much better game though. Too bad we didn't get that one in the US.
0:26 was always my favorite part Vegeta is just pure power and motivation plus how the songs plays more faster and higher. Really uplifting.

Because people forget it was one of the first if not the first dbz game to come to the states which is why it doesn’t have as much content as others and they have the Japanese voice actors
This one plus Final Bout intro still the best before Budokai 2 and 3. Art and animation was fantastic.

It's sad that they don't use this art style in anime nowadays, it's different and provides an originality and unique identity for the DB series.
I get the feeling they were originally planning to use Vegetto, but later decided on Gogeta. Notice how they have Goku's and Vegeta's heads layered on each other, and then there's a flash of light from their ears. That would imply using the Potara earrings.

For people wondering about why Goku and Vegeta turn into Gogeta when it sort of looks like the Potara, well...
The movie Fusion Reborn was produced well in advance before Toriyama would fuse the two in the manga. TOEI saw potential profits in fusing the two after the reveal of Gotenks and jumped on the chance. Of course they did this not knowing what direction the manga was going to go in or that Toriyama would use a different fusing method, let alone having a different design altogether

Never noticed the mistake in the fusion....they show the potara earrings but the resulting fusion is Gogeta (made by fusion dance), not Vegitto.
