Absolutely smashed my bets, good for him to get the win being the biggest underdog on the card. I mean I had a couple cheeky dollars on Darby as well to cover my other bets, but I would’ve won more if the other guy won 🤷🏻♂️😉
I appreciate this list, especially bc it doesn’t only focus on the big recent stories. I always love seeing people discuss guys like Sokoudjou and Minnowa man

The UFC has screwed him over so bad to. I think he lost his lawsuit against them. I forget exactly what it was about, but it had something to do with all his opponents being on roids and never tested I believe. Will forever be one of my top 3 favorite fighters ever.
I saw a very sad news piece from Japan where Don was visiting Yoshihiro. Unfortunately Mr. Takayama is in poor health and stuck in bed. Apparently Don had a bit of a crisis after their fight. I'd recommend checking it out.
Takayama took a bad bump in a wrestling match in 2017 and is paralyzed from the neck down I believe. Last I heard he'd been discharged from hospital finally this year. At least I think so from what I could gleam from Minoru Suzuki's post about it
Kevin still comes out to XKO fights (a regional promotion in DFW where he got his start and actually fought Geoff Neal back in the day), I was out at one supporting a team-mate that was fighting that night and crossed paths with Holland. I asked him for a pic and he was like "man fuck you......hahaha man I'm fuckin with you, get over here", wouldn't expect anything less 😂
Great mod for THQ UFC Undisputed 3 called Undisputed Forever, for PS3 and RPCS3. Puts modern fighters in the game and changes Pride to Rizin mode. Beats the hell out of the EA games.

JDS fought #4 ranked Werdum in his UFC debut. That is akin to Lando vs T Ferg except JDS ran through Werdum. It was a tune up fight for Werdum that ended badly.
If someone wants an excellent detailed story of the Minowa Man, check out Napoleon Blownaparte's video on freakshow fights. It's just a shorter part of a long video so you can skip to the Minowa Man part, but the entire video is definitely worth watching.
Moreno is the reason I got into UFC. I always liked MMA but believed the fighters on the UFC where like Jon Jones. (cheaters/ab****) Really made me feel welcomed and respect the sport.

Minowa beat the crap out of Ryan Gracie, if anything, whether or not he lost the decision, which was a hugely controversial one. Rampage and Silva gave him beatings, sure. But that wasn't the case with Ryan. The most serious damage of that fight was far and away Minowa's ground and pound.
