Just discovered that this can calm my anxiety in mere moments. It can also bring a tear to my eye - it makes me miss my Dad, whose favorite hero was Superman, but he didn’t make it to see Man of Steel.
He would have absolutely LOVED Man of Steel. Holy crap, a father son story of molding and preparing his son to care and protect the world. The 4x I watched it alone I cried. I can't imagine from a father's perspective watching WITH his son.
@@arizonacolour8793 Thanks 🙏 I know he would have loved Cavill as Superman, and so many moments from Snyder’s trilogy hit me. Specifically when Clark “talks” to Pa Kent in the mountains in Batman v Superman, and then when Jor El and Pa are talking to him in the Flight scene from Justice League. The whole trilogy revolves around the Fathers and Son story with Clark. It’s very tough for me to watch those movies alone. I grew up watching the animated Justice League series with him, so seeing that come to life in the movies was really surreal and emotional for me.
Jor-El: "Thats what this symbol means. The symbol of the House of El means hope, and embodied within that hope is the fundamental belief in the potential of every person to be a force for good. Thats what you can bring them Kal."
I remember when I was 19 years old, living in San Diego CA, I was on the beach with family and the rip tide was coming in come evening, this little girl came to me and said her little brother was in trouble. I looked out to the waves and he was barely holding on to his float tube while the waves took him out… With no lifeguard on duty, I had my Superman board shorts on, being an excellent swimmer I raced out and saved him from the tide. The parents came up and thanked me and hot damn I felt invincible. Superman is my hero and to feel like that for only a few min was incredible.

I was lucky enought to listen to Hans Zimmer play MoS live in Dubai and what an experience and joy it brought to me. Really wish Zack Snyder and his cast can return to complete his DC vision.

Superman has been with me through my childhood days from christopher reeves to brandon routh, and now henry cavill. With each movie, the more I find meaning in his character, and the more I love him. If I may say, he is like the fictional male superhero version of Lady Diana. I see nobility, pureness, kindness, and immense strength in his character. Regal and comforting. Safe and warm. Yet, I also see sorrow and pain. The weight he has to carry- he choose to carry. No matter how much the world find it childish that a grown person like me truly love and would glorify superman to this extend, I'm not ashame. Thank you for making such a beautiful ambient music.
Theres loads of info that superman is loosely based on Jesus Christ (even though his jewish creators denied it first) .... he's the last son, came from the heavens and raised by earthly parents, symbol of hope for humanity, same age as Jesus, mother Martha (similar to mary), dad johnathan (similar to joseph). jesus took time in solitude and superman has fortress of solitude. the list goes on and on....
So many great Superman stories but Birthright and the message " World never changes for a man too timid to do his part to his ultimate ability" hits for me the most. Superman may be too perfect for some but man does he inspire to be the best you can
My younger brother, aged 23, passed away in May 2024. Healthy as a star; he was diagnosed with epilepsy 2 years ago, and that took a toll on him over the years. I spent most of the time with him, taking him to the doctor's appointments and looking after him along with my parents. Driving him to wherever he wanted since he couldn't drive due to the condition. I've been a fan of the Man of the Steel movie and the soundtracks that came with the movie. This track soothes me while I think of my brother in the stars, far away, looking down on me. I miss you so much and will meet you again soon.

Never really liked Superman before man of steel. This movie really touched something in me strangely, and it has been with me in every kind of hard moment: this version of Superman seemed way too human for me, a good guy with flaws who tries to use his gift in a good way, but it’ll never be easy because of who he is.
Man Of Steel, in my eyes, humanized Superman. And, in spite of you saying he was way too human... that's what makes him more relatable in this version. In previous movies he was portrayed as Superman pretending to be Clark Kent. In this movie it becomes clear that he grew up as a human and BECAME Superman. I think what I find most touching about this version of the narrative is that it shows him as being vulnerable, and very human first... before he became the superhero we all love.
I’m always drawn to Superman. As a person that juggles being an author, podcaster and a business I just started, I also lead from a place of compassion and want to help others accomplish wonders 🙌📚💙❤️

Excellent music to draw Superman art to! I'm in the middle of drawing fan art of "My Adventures with Superman" by the time I'm typing this. I wanted to listen to some calm, Superman-themed music to help give me inspiration while drawing and this video popped up when I searched for "Superman Lofi Music." This music fit the bill and it's giving me the inspiration I need! I'll definitely listen to this music again when I draw more Superman art in the future! ^^
