W11 Enterprise G isn't an official edition. Afaik, it's an unofficial mod of Windows 11, based on the component tree from the leaked W10 1703 Enterprise G build.
What? First, he does not live in a enterprise, second, he does not understand Chinese (Traditional), and third, he did not set his location to China, otherwise more Chinese software would be installed and he would be confused.
For a follow up video I'm interested in : What services are running, how many, what is disabled. What is stripped out entirely. What are the differences between standard Enterprise, and Enterprise G. What does the task manager tell you for RAM usages, and CPU tasks, threads, and handles. What are the differences between standard Enterprise, and Enterprise G. What is the footprint of the OS on disk. And how big are the program files folders. Which folders take up the most space under the Windows folder. What are the differences between standard Enterprise, and Enterprise G.
This is an unofficial recreation, according to Pivotman319. As of today, only official Enterprise G editions are based on Windows 10 versions 1703, 1803, 1809, and 21H2. The official ISOs are in Simplified Chinese.
I do VNC pentesting and the amount of Chinese PCs I‘ve come across is insane. For some reason, they all have a lot of things on them by default, that look very proprietary. Always wondered if it‘s possible getting that Windows Build.
Enterprise is just a normal copy of Windows with a longer support cycle and the ability to join domains etc - whereas IoT is heavily debloated as its intended to run on internet appliances, digital signage and the like. This G version is supposedly a government version :)
where can i download this? i think this is the cleanest version if someone installs a browser from an usb flash drive and slowly builds up his own operating system. defo gonna give this a try.
I wouldn't recommend it, as who knows what could be installed? But it's available on the Internet Archive if you search for "Windows 11 Enterprise G v24H2"
No Edge, interesting. If you're using it for actual Enterprise you'd be enrolling it in Intune and then deploying the apps you want that way. It's really cool for that aspect. What if you Backup and Restore Win7 on this OS version?
I'll have to look into it. It is odd that you'd not have Edge, but as per the vid it looks as though Intune enrollment has been taken out, with only local domain available - at least via system settings.
@@yourpcpal You can do Intune enrollment before getting into Windows, from the language/region select screen and preprovision the machine. You could then install you UWP and Win32 apps there.
Possible meanings I can think of: 1. Windows 10 was intended to stay as the last version literally but changed later. It's possible, especially in how Windows 10X was canceled due to demands for single-screen devices during the Covid-19 pandemic. 2. Windows 10 is the last version before the new requirements such as TPM 2.0, which most PCs lacks of. 3. Windows 11 is just a feature update.
Do you expect an average or even illiterate user to type command lines? Back in 2015, there's a page about the history of Windows on Microsoft site saying DOS is "too hard for human" (to understand and/or remember)
@@ThatRandomToast no they either get it in the windows store or search the winget command on the browser on their phone or download the browser on their phone and transfer it to their pc cable or wireless
That's not true, it's just a basic windows that's de-bloated at this point and the Chinese government installs their own software they want to use, such as their own web browser and office suite and an image editing program if they need, and it's just as usable as any PC then.
Ah, finally the version of Windows 11 I can use. No Microsoft Recall nor copilot, no ads, no bloat.... Coolio
Except the china spyware preinstalled on it.
