Curious what your take is on the black ducks? I bought some that had serious paint issues. When I contacted the company, they admitted to having trouble with pain durability on the black ducks, and sent me a half dozen mallards to make up for it. Thankfully their customer service seems to be pretty good.
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I'm glad to hear that. They said they were making changes to correct the issue. First hunt I had paint already rubbing off. Love the design of them though, and they still look good enough to be huntable. I figure when there is too much white showing through, I'll just spray them a matte black. That's one good thing about them being black ducks haha
Hey chief, just off topic referring to your other videos on the Nitecore Electronic Repellers, out of the EMR40 & the EMR06 TAC could you recommend 1 over the other ? regarding the heating mainly, I see the EMR40 has a metal element and the EMR06 TAC has a plastic looking element, both say the will heat up to 165c but have my doubts on that..
I haven’t started testing the emr06 tac yet but my emr40 has been solid, I have seen mixed reviews on the 40 as well but my experience has been amazing
Duck hunting where I live is garbage yet all the folks around here think they are master duck hunters😂. I try telling them that these damn park ducks are dumb
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I store my decoys in a shed when not in use, and the paint faded so fast. They are just perfect for walking in or using out of my sneak boat since they are so light. Can’t speak to the flocked ones however
@@GameWarden pretty sure the heat or any type of UV will make them fade fast. The Eva foam will shrink in heat, I've got a bunch of mallards and I don't think I'd buy them again idk maybe I like how quiet they are in the woods, but I don't like how they move on a jerk rig. but my teal and black ducks look great and the ducks don't seem to mind the mallards. But after he weighed an individual one I'm pretty sure Dakota packable weighs about the same and they displace a lot more water on a jerk rig
@@laneball5262i have the packables. Without a weight they are roughly 21 oz per decoy. The weight adds up quickly dragging a sled of 12 with some teal duck butts n 2 goose floaters that weight adds up quick. Good for a jerk rig ur right tho.
I have 2 dozen lifetime decoys I bought 4 seasons ago. They still are in great shape even after being used a minimum of 25 hunts per season.

My black ducks from them have been solid used them all last season and every hunt this season so far no issues

What’s the weight on them
Heyday look good for about half a season. They do not hold up well at all.
My black ducks are still perfect so far used them all last season and this season currently
I’ll keep an eye on the mallards
