About Me:
Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my happy place on here. I make videos about my day to day life, family travel or day trips, motherhood, plus size fashion and exciting work projects. Occasionally I have special guests too - friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 12 and Pearl, 6.
Outside of my online life I love crafts & small DIYs, all things Disney, programmes about bygone eras, shopping for lovely clothes that make me feel amazing and being at home with my fiance and children.
I've written 6 books so far (stocked in Waterstones, WHSmith, Amazon and all good supermarkets) and can't wait to start book 7!
We are currently planning our wedding, set for 2025 and I can't wait to start sharing bits of that with you!
Hit the subscribe button to never miss a video again!
I chat every day on my other social media (linked above) so do come and say hi!
Big hugs,
Louise xxx

The baking segment was just everything. You are gold. And just so wonderfully real.
Also your science degree joke! Baking is a science, cooking is an art… measurements are needed for baking and then honestly you can’t go wrong
Also the fact you noticed this makes me feel like I’ve won the glitter points lottery
The baking section gave me Schitt's Creek "you just fold it in" energy in the best way possible 😂
I immediately thought the same when Louise said fold it in😂😂
Definitely SC vibes!
Next time baking tips: 1. If you can't find scales, Google the conversion into cups or spoons. This will help you be more accurate. 2. Using multiple of you paper loaf tin liners at once will give a lot more structural integrity. Use 4 or 5 in a stack! Or just put it all in muffin trays. You will just need to cook it less but will taste just as good! 3. If anything is drippy or you worried it might drip, put a full baking sheet on the rack below. This will catch all the drips and you can clean easier. 4. Things don't continue to rise at the same rate that whole time. Your loaf was getting solid on the outside so I don't think it would have dripped any more and would only have risen a bit further. Good luck!
Gosh, that baking segment was so stressful. 😅
Imo, you're right: measure your ingredients properly, use the right size tin and also cream your butter and sugar more thoroughly (using a mixer).
I always enjoy your videos and your warmth and humour - thank you!
Tip for banana-based baking: muffins are much easier than a full banana loaf.
I came here to suggest this 😂
Omg the baking segment was pure gold 😂 I love you 😂
On the next shopping trip, new scales - guessing rarely works out unless you are a seasoned cook or someone's Grandma.
Second - if the shop doesn't have the tin shape you want look in the silver foil takeaway section they usually have the long oblong shape OR get a deeper roasting tin, fill it then when it's baked cut it into 2 oblongs OR do muffins instead. All that said, it wouldn't of been as entertaining ❤😂
This is so funny. Watching you cream together butter and sugar with a fork was really something special 😂
The funniest , most joyful, natural cooking vid ever😂
I didn't think I could appreciate you more and then you upload the baking segment 😊❤ You are just the realest and the best. I wish I had an IRL friend like you!
You baking in this video is now up there with you and Ester collecting sticks in a horse field while you were heavily pregnant! UA-cam GOLD!
The warm fuzzies I get from that opening music! 💖💖💖
Can you please do baking segments more often? that was the best thing ever 😂❤
Just hearing the music at the start filled my heart with absolute JOY!!!! ✨✨💕 I'm a proper Oldie but Goldie and it's those little things that just make me smile. Thank you for brightening up my Saturday with all your loveliness 💖 xxxxx
We need the baking segment regularly, this was so funny 😂❤
No thanks.
Baking segment is just as good as the laundry segment!! Would loveeee to see more of you baking!! Or attempting to bake 😜
We have all had our baking fails. Last time I baked cookies, they slipped off the baking tray and fell back down the bake off the oven! The two cookies I was able to save, I finished them off in the air fryer.
It was very lovely to watch your day. You have made me smile and giggle. Thank you
You have the perfect kitchen for a “baking segment “ I believe in you Louise! I was yelling at the screen and laughing so much. Liked the little behind the scenes too. ❤❤❤
Ok Louise you probably don’t read all your comments but please upload more frequently. Your videos are my happy time lol! I think I deserve some happiness? I absolutely love your videos and they just transport me back to a better time in life and i dont know why I find them so nostalgic ❤
This was such wonderful cosy vibes Louise, I adore videos like this to cosy up with at the end of a long work week! 💕
Absolutely love these cosy vlogs, its so nice to unwind after work with a new Louise video 💖
Love a good longy vlog! Your content makes me so excited to be in my "Mum Era" with my own little girl, creating a beautiful life in our home. Nostalgia and growth all wrapped into one! I love being a sprinklerino from the OG glitter days!
You need a proper loaf tin and the way we normally make banana cake is by measuring each ingredient in a mug. E.g 1 mug of soft butter, 1 mug of sugar, flour, etc for the eggs we say two medium eggs. Or if its a big mug then 3 eggs. Our banana cake comes out perfectly 👌. Throw in some chocolate chips too 😊
Louise, you really are the cutest and funniest woman. I just popped in after years of not following what you’ve been up to.
And you’re still as entertaining and have the same dry humour as always that I love so much! It was a joy seeing you again
Oh Louise! You do make me smile! ❤ you need to measure your cake ingredients, it is actually a science!🤣 you need a loaf tin, or two! And you should have just put another tray underneath the ‘cake’ to catch the drips and just carried on with it! I am sure it would have been delicious! 🤤
Your always just what I need after a long days work ❤. Feel so chill after one of your cosy home vlogs 😊
I loved this! The baking segment where you said, ‘I’m imagining these are my enemies’ was just gold! ❤❤❤
This was such a joy to watch, these videos are really cheering me up so much 🙂The part where you were explaining who would be spinning in their grave made me laugh out loud, it's so your sense of humour! I'm sure they are all proud of you for trying! I hope you carry on having a lovely year this year xxx
Hi lovely Louise! Just wanted to say, thank you for leaving this baking segment in - I'm glad you didn't get discouraged and leave it out.
Also, the paper liners are actually intended to be put inside of the bread loaf baking tray. So you'd need to buy the tray separately and insert the liners, then pour the batter into the liner from there. The liners aren't strictly necessary for baking (you can always grease the pan if there aren't any liners at hand), but they serve two purposes: to make the baked product easier to lift out of the tray/pan, and aesthetics :) Hope this helped!
This was exactly what I needed - such a wholesome vlog!!! Thanks so much, Louise 💕
The baking section was just pure magic!!! 😂 ‘just fold it in’ reminds me of Moria in schitt's creek. Couldn’t stop laughing!!
Also did the video repeat at about 28mins or just my phone playing up a bit.
Definitely Schitts creek vibes made me smile too - fold it in! 😂
It repeated!
Loved this vlog!!! I feel so cosy and happy 🫶 also personally love the longer vlogs!! 35 mins - 50 mins is like my dream length i love it xx
Sorry I’m late to this week’s party! Louise’s version of British baking show!! You are a delight in my life, sweet Louise.
Yayyy, nothing better than a cosy vlog! Hope you’re having a great week Louise ❤️
It was absolutely lovely to watch this together ❤
Your videos are full of nothing but joy! Your joyful year is off to a wonderful start and adding joy to my year!
Just love love these vlogs ❤ Thank you for all your hard work! I’m sure we all appreciate you so very much ❤
Absolutely adored the baking segment! That is exactly the kind chaos that happens pretty much every time I'm in the kitchen. As stressful as it probably was I hope you still had at least a little fun, cannot wait to see you give it another go!!
Oh boy... I just love you Louise!!! Love watching you work through your cooking adventures!!! You couldn't be any more adorable. 💝🥰💖...You can't "guess"the ingredient measurements... Baking is a precise endeavor! 😉
Absolutely loved this! So much nostalgia and joy
Love your videos so much Louise💕 glad you are back
Omg you had me near on wetting myself with laughter during your baking segment 🤣🤣 the most I’ve laughed in ages so thank you for just being an absolute brilliant human being ❤❤❤
these vids are just like the biggest warmest hug
Yay for a wonderful cosy video. Loving your content Louise. The vibe is perfect ❤
Love your vlogs, so cosy 🤍🤍
I say this with love, watching you attempt to bake was the best thingI’ve seen in a while
I loved this vlog! The baking segment was my favourite! We have all been there when there are about three things we are winging and expect it to miraculously turn out the same and it doesn’t
Bless you!😊 I think if you had used a solid baking tin and lined it with the parchment - it may have worked?
As for the part baked mixture, you could finished in the microwave and turn it into a ‘pudding’ serve with ice cream or cream. Yum😊
The honesty and realness of the baking segment was gold. I often feel stressed I’m a rubbish ‘baker’ but I found the idea of everything being ‘an experiment’ was a freeing idea and so if it totally fails then that is the successful outcome of the experiment. I’m also here for the double washing segment at the end. As an editor myself I know the feeling!! Made me feel seen!! Thanks for the giggles and smiles :)
Your vlogs are absolutely lovely!! Cosy and joyful!!
Enjoyable, witty, and comforting video as always ❤. The baking show segment had me rolling 😂🤣😂
Thankyou for another vlog ❤
Love hearing that music it’s mean you are hear to make me smile ❤❤
Don't ever doubt your not short of been adorabley realistic and absolutely amazing ❤
Aw louise the baking section had me laugh out loud and smiling like a madman! Your vlogs always bring me so much peace and joy and I've been watching you since 2012 and you're honestly one of the funniest people ever and I truly wanna be like you once I'm more of a woman and less of a 22yo teenage girl 💖
Loved the baking segment ❤ here is my banana bread tip- I do muffins! Cooks faster, and perfect for a grab and go snack or breakfast! I always use to burn my loaf and I started doing muffins and they turn out perfect!
the baking part made me chuckle!! so so funny louise! i work i day care and the amount of times ive planned a baking activity and realised im missing stuff is crazy haha but its all in the fun of making it no matter how it turns out. You defo need a cake tray and scales though and i would of worked ive used that recipe many times!! its delicious
Loving these vlogs lately ❤
Your new hair color looks amazing. It fits you so well. Also loving this cosy home vlog ❤️
Hooray! Cozy homey vibes are my fave.
This is such a lovely video Louise, so calming and like a video call with a bestie. Thank you.
Also girls please stop growing stay baby glitter and pearly forever xxxx
Loved this! So cozy
Nails So cute 🤩 have very recently started getting my nails done once a month and I can't tell u how much joy it brings me 😅😊
I loved this video so much 😂😂 more baking with Louise!!!!!!!!
😂😂😂😂😂loved the baking segment, and I love that you speak to us in the cupboard ❤❤❤❤
Here's to a great year !! ❤❤ your hair is gorgeous 😍 ~x~
Thank you for the giggles, Louise 🤣🤣❤❤
Really love watching your videos 💖
The baking made me laugh so much. 180 = 160 fan! That's why it burned. Also, you need to level the baking powder teaspoons. Loved the effort even though you didn't have scales or a tin! x
Loved this soooooo much xx
Loved the baking section ❤
I laughed so much during the baking segment. The most ADHD thing I’ve ever seen and happens to me every time I try to bake 😂 I know you said good bakers run in your family, so maybe that it’s not that you’re not good at baking, but maybe your possible ADHD getting in the way and with more understanding/strategies/supports, you might be an actually amazing baker!? Just a different perspective! Thank you for the laughs, you’re so funny, and the editing of that segment was *chefs kiss* 👩🏼🍳🍌🥖🤌🏼
That baking segment was comedy gold 😂..
You could've greased the roasting tin and then lined it with the baking liners.. and then use the whole mix to make it more like a tray bake than a loaf! Then use a skewer to check the bake (when the skewer comes out clean... its done!)😊
I love this kind of content Louise!, you are so real, so relatable and so funny and just a very good egg! The cooking section was hilarious, I tried to make banana bread in lockdown and it's safe to say it was a disaster too, but yours made for such good entertainment! 😂
Literally come onto you tube hoping you’ve brought out a new video that I can watch while doing some household chores. Thank youuuu!!!!! Xxx
Love, love, loved your baking segment 😃 but baking is definitely a science and cooking is a creative art to express yourself. I tip if you have no scales is that a table spoon is usually 1 ounce. I do hope you do more baking. Xx
Please do more baking segments. I’m obsessed 😂💓
I loved this video so much. It made my day❤
The baking section was so funny! Made me laugh out loud! Love your videos
“ I’ll just leave it out to cool “ omg this made me lol 😂😂😂😂 such a great vlog pure gold ❤
Oh my gosh your new hair looks beautiful! 🥹🥹🥹🩷🩷🩷 loved this cozy vlog and that your prioritising joy! Hehee 🎉 life is too short! Do what you love and makes you happy! Xxxx
Also thank you so much for watching a katnipp video while you worked hehehe 🥹🥹🥹🩷 I hope you enjoyed it! You da best!
I loved this so much. Louise, you are a gem
Oo! Makeup on collars can be removed with surgical spirit. You pop a little on a cotton pad and just wipe the collar. You don’t have to rinse it, just leave it to dry.
Nancy Birtwhistle from the Great British Bake off taught me that one! She has so many helpful natural cleaning tips. ❤
That baking part was just the best 😂😂 Loved it ! 👌
I LOVEEEEE the baking section … banana loaf with a twist- the twist is no scales🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣xx
Ahhh I love your vlogss sooo much!!
There it is the heart warming safe twinkly music of a louise vlog ❤ x
These are the videos I've missed. Xx
Love love love the baking section 😅😅😅
You know it's a Louise vlog when there's a montage set to the iconic twinkly music 🥰
I am loving the baking segment, so much! I love how you put the baking powder in with a normal tsp, saying at least something was measured correctly but I’m sure you had actual measuring spoons on the counter at one point! Think you possibly put in quite a lot of baking powder! Love your videos!
I think you should watch one of the Fitwaffle videos and make one of her bakes…step by step videos may be helpful?!
I’ve had the longest day after an anxiety filled week/month and needed something to watch to wind down… the premier of this video was waiting in my subscriptions! I’ve watched and enjoyed your videos for over 10 years Louise (used to advertise my little blog on the sidebar of Sprinkle of Glitter back in the day!) and this is my first comment in a long, long time. I’m no longer working in social media but you were a huge part of why I got into blogging, UA-cam etc. in the first place. Bit of a gushy comment but just wanted to hop in and thank you for being such a source of calm and comfort this evening - and always! Take care x
I know exactly how you feel. Such a great video to wind down to x
The baking segment perfect😂
Not finished yet, but I am so stressed through this baking section. I absolutely cannot wait to see this chaos unfold. ❤
The baking section was BRILLIANT 🤣🤣🤣
Watching your videos brings me so much joy, it feels like hanging out with one of my friends! We did the same thing with bananas once near the begining of online shopping but it was 10 bunches 😂 after banana bread we started doing banana and brown sugar toasted sandwiches which were much easier and delicious!
Can't wait!! 😊
Omg the baking segment had me in tears 😂
Thank you, thank you, thank you - I cried laughing (with you) at the cake exploits! More cooking please, you're wonderful!
I loved the bakery segment, that would be me! Also love a bath so those lights looked great x
Hi Louise I really love the mini laundry segment please do that a alot ❤😂
