Advanced knife bro you are such a nice guy to help the other knife dudes with views. How do you decide what watches to get since many of your previous ones were mechanical?
So I alternate between buying stuff, reaching out to, and being reached out to. Vaer reached out to me, I did some research, and asked them what they had for me to look at. This seemed nice and I do not currently have a solar watch, in the mix. I plan on sticking to mostly mechanical though.
How can i wrap my head around nationalism, and being against people from other countries to the point of denying trade with them based nationality or race. My refugee mom married someone from another nationality. Couldn't imagine another upbringing and having racially nationally homogenous parents mocking countries of origin and banning overseas made products in the home like many in the EDC crowd do. Thanks akb for another good video.
This channel has never really cared where stuff is made…. And I know there’s a subset of people in the community that harp on it- all while filling their houses with goods that have complex supply chains, and things made from all over. I also have lots of made in USA stuff too because there’s nothing wrong with supporting jobs here too. I’m mostly agnostic where stuff is made- and I’m sure as hell not going to hypocritally lecture other people about it.
It isn’t about race or color it’s about over the last 50 years we’ve seen hundreds of thousands of our jobs go over seas often using slave labor to replace decent paying American jobs. It’s almost singularly one country that’s took the jobs and that’s China. The once great American companies have sold us out to China to make a quick buck. Trying to only Buy American or European made products isn’t about race it’s about trying to counteract what’s happened to our once great countries and provide good jobs for your families close to home to provide a prosperous life for the next generation.
Buying European is the giveaway here. My man if you don’t support strong unions and fair wages here and vote for the people who support those things then you’re just pissing into the wind. The Chinese aren’t to blame here the corporate overlords who decide profit over wages are the real enemies. And guess what they’re not Chinese.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro i agree. Lots of good videos from americans who lived in china that debunk some myths and prejudices against china. Chinese people arent to blame. Its our own business practices. I watched for the baton at the end.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro Why mechanical? Compared to quartz, they are absolutely inferior in every aspect, especially when talking about durability.
@@damyr you seem pretty undecided on this issue, be brave and take a side, one way or the other
How can i wrap my head around nationalism, and being against people from other countries to the point of denying trade with them based nationality or race.
China has its own problems that dont affect us the way we like to imagine but there are some things they even got better at doing than us.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro Hear, hear... Finally someone who's intelligent to understand business. Most bigger companies are actually supranational. They don't give a shite about nations/countries, nor about people, they only care about profit.
I have a solar Seiko watch that I wear on weekends that I leave on a window shelf during the week. It gets plenty of sun in that spot so in the back of my mind I worry somewhat that it could damage it over time. Is this possible bros?
Batoned the like button, shattered my phone. Had to fire up the old windows XP and log in to write this comment...
I used to know why the ring rotated, but I forgot.🤦♂️🤣
there it was, the better looking watch: seiko 5
Got my AKB apparel in the mail this week. Threw on my AKB tank and was all sorts of ready to slam Natty Lights and get my tactical knife tutelage on, but got slapped with a dang watch review instead. Don't get me wrong, I watched the whole thing because you're funny as shit, and commented because you asked me to. But you're not going to get me into watches no matter how hard you try. I hope.
The bezel is used for timing your pizza in the oven...
I think your Hamilton video might have done badly simply because it's already got 1000 reviews on UA-cam. Whereas the Serge is a rare brand and your video was one of very few.
The humor 🤣🤣🤣
I can’t deal with a watch with a second hand that only advances one tick per second. Give me a nice, smooth(er) mechanical sweep.
I see you follow the same roadkill diet as me 😂
is that a beer scout knife?
Yes, specifically the Sudbuster
I told everyone I was watching strap on reviews and suddenly all conversation in the room stopped.
The cost of being into things no one else cares about these days is getting crazy.
Put it in the sun. Thanks for watching my video.
You really need to put a straw in the beer and snorkel it
4:53 RIMMING? 😱
I wore a F91w the whole time in Afghanistan and always knew what time it was scratchy boy
I surf USA using foreign components.😎
Solar watches feel like a regional joke from the mid 80s.
#yousaidrubbers
No blue lines - boo
And why no comparison to the blurple Para 2
The irony of people complaining about watches or knives made in part or in whole in China.... from their Chinese iPhones... lol
Got dammit I missed it. How are you supposed to charge it? Thanks,
All this talk of rubber, leather, rimming, and strap ons are making me wonder if I'm watching the right video or not.
You should really WATCH the hell out of this video like I just did.
